diss supervisor is in fact not mad at me
#she had sent a 'checking in' email about a week before the winter break#to which i had replied 'thanks for checking in and i don't have anything presentable to send r/n but hope to have something by mid-january'#she did not respond to said email and so for ~3 weeks i have been concerned. but i sent her an email yesterday with 15 pages of bib#and she replied with a very warm email saying that the bibliography looks great and we can meet next week#this has happened multiple times that i've received no response from a faculty member and assumed that i did something very very wrong#and every time it's been completely fine. so perhaps there is a lesson here#but i did not get to the dissertation writing stage of academia by not being an anxious person lmao
