Your first crush was silly and dumb, being on your at-the-time best friend, Logan, or Podcast, as he was now mostly known. He always had a fascination for film and commentary, no wonder he had his own podcast.

You'd recently moved to New York, surprisingly, where Podcast also lived these days. You reconnected over social media and found out you'd be living near each other again like the good old days, and decided to meet up once you got comfortable in the new environment. And that's what had happened. You now await his arrival at Ray's Occult Books, where you skim through the bookshelves, reading each spine to see if any title jumped out at you.

The bell above the door jingles, causing you to look up to see who it is again. Him, thankfully.

He scans the store, looking for you. Ray nods his head toward you, leading him right to you.

He smiles as he approaches, stuffing his phone in his jorts pocket. "Hey"

"Hey," you reply, a soft smile pulling on the corners of your lips.

"Uh, how are you?" He asks, clearly struggling to make conversation.

"Good, I like your outfit," you reply, pointing out his colorful collared shirt. Even now, it reflected his curious and extroverted personality.

He glances down at his shirt, having forgotten what he was even wearing, "Oh, thanks! Uh, do you wanna go walk around or something?" He asks, glancing over at Ray, staring you two down at the counter.

"Sure"

You end up strolling around the city, catching up and talking about life until you retrieve to the basement of Ray's Occult Books, where Podcast was currently living for the summer. He already told you how he was supposed to be at summer camp and how he'd been consecutively lying to his mom. You already knew that was pretty in character for him. He wasn't great at fitting in and would've rather stayed with people he knew and his other actual friend, Phoebe.

You let some of the mini marshmallow pufts climb all over you, using you like a giant stool. A few use your arms as little slides. Logan takes a picture, framing your goofy smile while another mini puft jumps off your head and onto your shoulder.

A few slide down your left arm back onto the desk, then use your right hand as an elevator to go again. As you hoist a little group back up to your shoulder, Logan is now recording on his phone, laughing behind the camera.

"They're so cute," You happy-pout, looking at him for a moment.

Oh, how he wanted to pull the Uno reverse card on you with that, but he couldn't. He thought about it far too long, then backed out because he was too scared, but told himself it was just to late.

You look around his room, two of the little pufts sitting on your head like Remy in Ratatouille. You note all the posters and little trinkets and things around the room, making a weak assumption that he just liked collecting little random things.

You notice the orange lava lamp sitting on his bedside table, turned on, and providing an orange glow throughout that corner of the room. It shines off the side of Logan's face, creating an omniscient kind of glow that you can't look away from.

Denying you still had a crush on him would just make this even worse.

He looks back at you after saving the video to his photos and putting it in his Friends and Shenanigans folders, catching you quickly looking away. He raises an eyebrow, seeing your slightly jittery movements as you use your hand as an elevator for the mini pufts again. They don't keep it a secret though, 'oo'ing and 'ah'ing and bouncing on your shoulders and head.

You can feel your face flushing, attempting to hide it by not looking back at him.

The mini pufts land back on the desk, skattering behind the array of glass jars. You look back at him, seeing he's already looking at you. He's close, closer than you remembered, you felt closer to him, really.

You look down at the mini pufts at your feet, wondering if you'd zoned out as they slid you across the floor. You look back up at Logan, giving you that same soft look you were giving him.

Look, what a funny, simple word. There was no other word for that almost hypnotizing gaze shared between the two of you. There was so much tension. So much so that it was killing the mini pufts. They wanted to shove you into each other to just kiss already.

"I think we're alone now," He quietly speaks, glancing down at the desk where the mini pufts had flee'd from.

The beating of your hearts was the only sound as you pressed your hands against his jawline, his hands slinking down to your waist. You press your lips to his for a moment, then again and again before properly pulling away.

He opens his eyes, a grin painting his face. He pecks your lips once more before he knows you'll say that you have to leave.

"I have to go, I think my mom's waiting outside"

"Okay"

He watches as you stumble up the basement stairs, your face flushed. A smile still tugs at his lips, cheeks a light shade of pink.

The mini pufts come out from hiding and cheer him on, then flick the lights off to reveal colorful LED lights and a disco ball. He sighs with a pout, unable to hide the joy behind it.

"Okay, okay, party's over. We have an episode to record"

That's it. I've found my most favorite Cdrama character of the year. Do I love everything about him? No. Is he very relatable? No. Is he the best acting performance of the year? No. But heavens forbid if Master Li is written in a way that is just SO understandable and consistent for the setup of a sunny fearless youth who became an immortal and grew weary and bored with time, and decided to just stop with immortality and take one more chance at truly enjoying the mortal world so he could die satisfied. He's just so fucking intriguing to me I could write a 5 page essay about him! I guess I have already written about 2.5!

Dingzhi baby I wish you stop trying to hoard all your grievances and responsibilities in your heart all alone 😔 Tbh can't blame him, that's what happens when you were brutally stripped from your family and friends as a child and grew up with noone but an equally sad master, it stops occurring to you that you need to depend on other people sometimes. And it's not like Dongjun is the brightest bulb in the room to get a proper reading of everything Dingzhi is hiding behind his dazzling grins.

I'm kinda used to the writers putting Nadja in situations and see what it sticks, but (un)holy shit its so obvious that they don't know what to do with her character. What we do in the shadows learn how to write women challenge.

I don't know if the Guide even appeared. My stream stopped a couple times and I have to refresh so maybe I missed her (if not see previous point because it also applies to her).

LOVED Nadja's kitty hair buns, love to see that at least the hair and costume department still cares about her.

The line about burning the school made me roll my eyes, not only because that story doesn't make sense with what we learned about her childhood, but also because I can FEEL when tv shows throw lines with the specific expectations of them being gifed, become memes, etc.

I know it's stupid to discuss about the ethics of Laszlo's experiments on the dick and balls show but in this episode I was all 😬😬😬 about it. Like, I don't give a shit if it was done with comedy purposes, animal experimentation is one of the subjects I will never find remotely funny or make jokes with, specially if we start thinking... How much consent Guillermo gave for Laszlo to straight up play with his DNA in this way? He has nothing to say about it except for a confused frown or looking panicky at the sight of the creatures?? More important, if Nandor did this exact same thing the past season and created the hybrids with a Djinn wish or whatever, how would the fandom have reacted??? (spoiler: waaay more angered than when everybody's fave Laszlo does it).

The work of puppetry and digital effects was good as always, nothing bad to say about the team behind the cameras that puts all their hard work and craft on this, sadly, mid storyline.

Despite how little I care about mAd ScIenTiSt Lazslo plot, the moment when Guillermo believes he won't help him anymore was truly heartbreaking just by looking at his face. You can see he really has all his hopes in Laszlo finding a 'cure'.

I wish the whole thing about Guillermo being incapable of killing the hybrids hit me harder (as if we didn't saw him luring innocent teenagers so they can get killed in the literal pilot).

Sorry but that lady character didn't work for me and the "Helen the Magic Johnson" joke was unfunny and kinda old :/ i wonder if half of the wwdits fandom even got the reference (also lmao shameless product placement, you can tell they needed the money to pay for the cgi used on the creatures).

Colin was like his season 1 self. I bet the wwdits reddit ate up that shit.

Colin becoming the stereotypical 'cool' white liberal teacher was hilarious specially when he said the cliché "history is written by the oppressors" line because that's where the parody becomes too obvious. This is the guy whose dna results on s1 were "100% white" after all. AND YET some people here are still celebrating and repeating it as this 'so true bestie 😔✊' moment without realizing the show's laughing at you, not with you. But hey, this is the we don't get satire even if it bites on our ass site. Imagine fans celebrating when Kendall Succession shouted "fuck the patriarchy!" in front of the paparazzi for being a #feminist. That's how wooosh the moment went over some of y'alls heads.

Nandor and Colin at the museum felt a little tackled on, but at least Nandor annoyance at his personal items being displayed was fun.

And Colin being friendly (dare I say…sweet?) with him at the end again gave me a happy smile. I'll never guessed this season was all about the Colin and Nandor (Condor??) era but I'm all for it.

Biggest Mild laugh of the night: Nandor mannequin having male and female lovers on the display, the dude is wearing Calvin Kleins!

I can't say much about Guillermo leaving the hybrids at the senior home because it's a overused ending for wwdits at this point. Seriously, when this show doesn't know how to end an episode they always do the same shit: Leave the characters that are a problem in a different place. It happened with: Topher at the zombie sweatshop, Jim the vampire as the volleyball coach in Tucson, familiar Benji in a different city/state (forgot where), The Baron and the Sire in the countryside, Derek working at Sean's MLM, Freddie!Marwa in the Uk. They have done this ending 👏🏼lots 👏🏼 of 👏🏼 times👏🏼already!!

Thought of something kinda fucked up about trans Shigaraki cause I wanna talk about gender so bad it's an interesting topic for me. I DONT MEAN THIS IN A LIKE TERRIBLE WAY I mean this in a character growth way? Level with me I'm not being weird or any sort of phobic please.

What if All for one gaslit Shigaraki about his gender?

Since he created him from the start he manipulated his life into something he could control but he had no control over Shigaraki being born a female and looking exactly like Nana down to her black hair and mole and this fucking scared him lol.

All For One, seeing Shigaraki's resemblance to Nana Shimura, so once he gets his hands on him he convinces Shigaraki that being male is essential to their success and power. This manipulation helps All For One control Shigaraki's identity and distance him from his Nana further never even giving him the chance, the only chance he had was when his sister showed him the picture but at that point Hana and Tenko were sisters

All For One could instilled in Shigaraki from a young age the belief that men are inherently superior in strength and capability, manipulating Shigaraki's perception of gender roles which is really fucked up but I'll get to a point later where this is better

All For One's teachings could be reinforced by traumatic experiences, such as punishing Shigaraki for any behavior or appearance that he deems "feminine," further cementing the idea that being male is safer and more powerful. All For One pushing him to suppress any and all femininity, cause kids dont know anything about gender, a little kid will pick up and play with anything, a doll or a toy car kids only see people. So AFO makes him associate being "female" with weakness and failure. And we cant have that if we wanna destroy the world can we?

This whole situation creates a rich vein of internal conflict, leading to moments of self-doubt, body dysphoria, ect of the sort. PROBABLY SELF HARM? Not just the scratching my poor child *hugs Shig*

Now, Shigaraki gets with the league, AFO isn't here after Kamino incident to power on these things though its ingrained in his brain. The league is the safe haven that allows Shigaraki to explore his gender, Magne,Toga,Dabi girls and boys working in the same team and neither of them are more or less important then the other. Kurogiri took care of Shig and having Oboro as a base made Kurogiri not wanna make Shigaraki do these things cause Oboro is an alley as much as Mic and Aizawa are and he took that with him in the Nomu-afactation process, he never enjoyed forcing Shigaraki to present as Male and is now given the opportunity to let Shigaraki be whatever he wants, hes not going to stop him, he'll encourage him cause he is the safe parent.

Shigaraki getting ok with himself presenting as Male or Non binary, Magne telling him where he could get top surgery if he wants it , Himiko sharing her gender story with him. Dabi telling Shigaraki women can kick just as much ass as a dude maybe even more, look at Mirko lol

the league just being supportive HAPPY FAMILY :) a very safe place for Shigaraki

And since we are ShigaHaul, Overhaul body worshiping Shigaraki durning spicy times. Kissing his chest (breast or chest scars depending which route we take) Overhaul servicing Shigaraki the first time they ever do it and telling him everything he needs to/should hear. Shigaraki is crying the whole time from pleasure and the conformation. Maybe, I peg Shigaraki as having a lot of pent up emotionalness so when he starts crying he can't stop himself.

No need to be sorry, I think there always needs to be a space to explore gender in all the ways it might happen, while I agree this route is a bit dark I love the way it ends on a positive trans-affirming note!! Also, fiction is a really good place to make up scenarios on how certain experiences could go, cause what you described here might as well be an allegory for what trans people can feel like in a society that constantly tries to tell them they are wrong or less for being who they are (especially for women, cis or trans)

But getting into the scenario, I can see AFO doing that, weaponizing gender for his own selfish goals and needs is just something a master manipulator would do. This leads to Shigaraki always feeling like he's lacking both as a vessel and as a man, we could even look at his fight with Star and Stripe with new eyes having this scenario in mind, cause he wants to be perfect so bad, he wants to hold AFO and be the best, but he might see as him proving that he is a man, that he finally achieve what his sensei wanted for him.

And thinking about him existing without AFO and getting closer to the LOV could be a really transformative experience for him because it shatters the view he built (or rather it was built for him) of gender and what gender roles look like. I think this could end with him being non-binary because he just feels like he is never gonna be one or the other and would rather exist in the in-between. He gets top surgery cause his breasts were always a point of discomfort and dysphoria, and is relieved to realize he actually feels good without them.

SHIGAHAUL IN THE AREAAAA this got me thinking of service top overhaul.... he would adore tomura's body during sex and aftercare, he takes his time worshipping every inch of it, and i agree with you that shigaraki is not a crier by any means but when it happens it takes hours to fully stop!!

So one of my friends parents friends (lol) has a photography business and was asking me if I knew anyone who has done previous modelling or would want to for something he’s working on… anyway, somehow it ends up with him asking me if I want to and I was happy to tbh cause it seems fun and chill for what he was doing but he wanted to see if I’d done any photos similar to what he had in mind before so I was gonna just get some that I chose but *I really wanted to be mad rn* he went through my Facebook photos from when I was deep in my ED + severely underweight that I forgot to delete and maaan sometimes I just see them and feel like if someone else looks at that and thinks it looks good then I feel like I should go back to that even tho I was so sick and idk it gets me in this mindset where I just feel so triggered I don’t even want to look at myself in the mirror 😔

Have other stuff in my inbox I don't have the mental capacity to answer but I read this n dude it resonated so so hard!!!

First of all, like I would also be mad about someone doing that to me, even though like obviously I know the photos are public. I kinda feel like if u ask someone to give u photos of themselves you let them choose, you don't just scroll back through old photos and like, assert which ones are good.

Secondly I totally get what u mean about when other people see photos of u when u were sick and say you looked good, like for real, it makes me question whether I was even ill because sick people don't look "good" they look unwell. But in reality this isn't the case at all and you can never tell how healthy someone is just by looking at them. Especially when it comes to eating disorders like.

There are a lot of pictures of me around family members Houses or on my grandparents Facebook of me when I was very ill and people who don't know me but are friends with my gran have commented shit like "gorgeous" on them. I find it so weird and I try my best to just ignore them because they don't know me or how ill I was and honestly neither does my nan.

It's such a shame this has tainted what could have been such a chill and also like progressive experience for you and I really hope you don't let it stop you. For real they wouldn't have asked you if they didn't want to photograph the you that you are now!!

One thing I've noticed is that people who don't know you were ill or don't know you that well barely even notice the changes in your appearance over the years. My uncle who saw me maybe 4 times a year once said "you didn't ever look too thin" to me which I used to find really upsetting but like I realise now was him trying to be nice and also just him genuinely not being able to notice the subtle changes in my physical appearance that were indicative of my changing health.

I think for you the most important thing you can do is remind yourself how you felt in those pictures, I'm gonna take a guess and say you weren't satisfied with yourself? You weren't happy with how you looked? You lacked confidence/self esteem, felt uncomfortable maybe when you were being photographed. When you relapse with an ED or try to go back, you don't just lose weight, you lose the ability to feel comfortable with yourself ever. Just remind yourself of that emotional torture and keep telling yourself that appearances aren't important in comparison to that. Feeling comfortable with yourself is the most important thing, it doesn't matter what other people perceive to look good, other people can't see how you feel inside.

Also you just don't need to go back. Just because this one guy thought those photos of you looked good doesn't mean you weren't sick or thst you should go back to that (and remember we are all of us conditioned to perceive "skinny" as good by wellness capitalism and beauty industries who want to sell us impossible beauty standards to ensure we are always giving them our money whilst never achieving satisfaction!!!! Men especially are literally told what they should think looks good by the media)

At the end of the day anon you are gorgeous no matter what!! You don't need to change yourself one little bit because apart from anything else I say so!!! ❤️❤️❤️
