thinking out loud here, but i think the bito family probably lives right in the heart of the city, most likely in an apartment given the area in question. i was trying to do some cursory digging on where more specifically that might be, with a focus on the area surrounding miyashita, but most of what i dug up was on the other side of shibuya. but it just... makes the most sense to me that they'd live close to miyashita (as in walking distance), given that's where beat and rhyme died. it was after a fight with their dad that he stormed out and with the way their death was portrayed in the anime at least, i find it hard to believe they got very far before the accident occurred. even for someone as hotheaded as beat, i can't see him being able to ignore rhyme the entire trek across the city to get there before replying to her. rhyme's always been his weak spot. he'll say to leave him alone, but he can't just blatantly ignore them to that degree.

though i do think my poking around residential stuff did strengthen my headcanon that he was heading to the skate park that's at miyashita/that the skate park was his comfort place. if they didn't live nearby, it makes sense that's where he'd be headed, since he had his skateboard with him. them living near by just makes it more of a convenient trek and makes the timeline of their deaths fit a little better, imo.

that said, i also think this likely means that he went to shibuya junior/senior high school (located just between miyashita and cat street), which means popping by wildkat after school or even cutting class to go to the cafe is actually a pretty easy thing to do, since it's right in the area
