Voyager's Gossip must be lethal - even Tuvok knows about the potential romance between these two one off ensigns. Absolutely NO privacy on that ship.
#this death made me sad - sorry for being a ninny who falls for 'sad anecdote and unfinished casual sentence before silence' every time#Everyone thinks Tom The Doc and Neelix are the biggest gossips and they are but Tuvok & Chakotay are also up there in my mind#Tuvok's spy instincts and Vulcan calm just lead to him doing a lot of passive information gathering#Meanwhile Chakotay's general demeanor makes you want to trust him - definitely the person most of the crew would confide in out of the#senior officers. Also he's nosey but it feels less like he's gonna get you in trouble for it (even if he is going to do that)#Neelix & The Doctor are more pushy about gossip. Neelix is definitely the 'Don't tell anyone else I was SWORN to secrecy but I heard-~!!'#type and the doctor really will try to keep it a secret but will let it slip bc the information influences his behavior too much#<- Ex: Telling Ensign X not to eat Garlic tonight (bc Ensign Y is thinking about asking X later) <- He wants to help v_v#This reminds me of that one episode where the Doc thought he was dying so he was like 'Tuvok I'm so sorry that I told Neelix about that#rash you got on your [ass] and I'm sorry we laughed about it it was so funny farewell my dear friends!!!'#You KNOW Doc & Neelix don't really get along BUT they will gossip FOR.EVE.R. with each other#st voyager#Doc & Neelix voted most likely to try to scheme two people who like each other together I know this to be true they are meddlers
