happy holidays, I will literally marry you if you bring me this plot— muse a works an entry level position at this massive company (think waystar royco) and their boss is a bit of an asshole, maybe not to muse a but are generally not the nicest person. Regardless, muse a persists through everything their boss throws at them. At some point (maybe the office holiday party to keep it on theme) there's a big party at the boss' country place or what not and it's the first time muse a meets muse b— this smokeshow, incredibly smart, charming and funny woman who just so happens to be...muse a's boss' wife. you gotta be kidding me. Cue the pining over their boss' spouse and jumping at the opportunity whenever it involves doing something for the spouse and maybe even hooking up behind her husband's back? Because I know I only have $6 and a paperclip to my name but I could love you 1000x more than my boss ever could.
