for once my boss and I agree on one thing, and it's that we need to start pressuring clients to launch their websites in a timely manner and not dither and make random changes for months on end.
boss is looking at it from a financial perspective (having these stragglers kicking around makes us too busy doing essentially free work bc the PMs totally aren't billing properly) but from my perspective, I just hate having these months-old projects coming back to bite me in the ass long after I thought they were done. Nothing more boring and annoying than a list of nitpicky revisions.
#theyre supposed to have a set amount of revisions included with their site fee and anything above that they're charged for#but our lead PM is a snivelling coward and has made the other 3 terrified of our clients for no reason#so instead of billing properly they just pile everything into the 'revisions' list#i think my boss's new solution is to implement a time limit. if your site isn't launched in X time you have to pay Y anyway#or something like that#idk i don't pay attention to that very much#but if it means ill stop getting boring and annoying task lists for months old projects every goddamn week I'm happy
