before i finally finish tvN's Little Women i gotta make the joke that Do-il is in a story where he gets to be the manly hero saving the beautiful damsel, and In-joo is in a story where the lesbian subtext is slowly becoming text

#i actually really didnt like do il at first he was very clearly placed there to be the mysterious handsome love interest and I didnt like i #didnt like it*#but he's grown on me over the course of the show and now i REALLY like him lolol #and a huge driving force of that is all the side characters who are like '...does do il have a thing for in joo??'#and both do il and in joo being just completely oblivious/disinterested/too focused on actually important things!!#theyre not even denying it like theyve both used the 'we're totally a couple' thing to manipulate situations #but beyond that theres been NO goo goo eyes #no forlorn looks or gentle touches beyond whats needed to subtly navigate this weird embezzlement murder situation #i also really like him fulfilling the 'stoic bodyguard' role thats one of my favorite character types apparently #AND and the fact that every instance of in joo mistrusting do il in the latter half of this show has been directly related to #the aforementioned lesbian subtext #gotta find that money or protect my sisters? sure i'll trust do il he's very competent #the woman i was in love with in episode 1 might be alive again??? im tricking him into leaving the country alone the FIRST moment i get #lololol #little women tvn
