Tesco is being very rude to me and has "great for pickling!" labels around but does not have pickling spice. Again. They also had no pickling spice last year or the year before and I have nearly run out and then what am I supposed to do. I already have to get distilled and malt vinegar to mix because they never have pickling vinegar any more

#they've got the christmas stuff early and i will only acknowledge early is the best time for pickling the onions#i'll just look on the box and write down the ingredients i know mustard seeds peppercorns and dried chilli and i do have them#there's some other stuff in there too#and i have fresh ginger that'll give them a good kick#*
