Heavy stuff aside, genuinely funny to imagine the Odussomai crew meeting Force users or biotics or the like and being like What Is That!!! The Fuck Is That!!! as if their species isn't mildly telepathic and there are species that will have the same reaction to that

#OOC / HOLLY.#'mildly' because it's voluntary telepathic communication #they can't force themselves into people's minds #[or at least it's not usual]#it's just a way to communicate underwater #they've got a crazy good range on it but y'know it's not a mind meld or whatever asari do #STILL weird to have someone knock at the door of your mind if you're not a telepathic species #or if you're a species who only has tactile telepathy #or if it's like the asari who find it taxing to do really focused melds like that and it takes a lot of skill #but for the Aaneachan it's like a telephone call or facetime #anyway back to icons
