#a very sinister kind of hatred#they regret giving it to rolin in the first place and allowing the racebending#they're trying so hard to course-correct and make sure they don't lose their cracker audience#ghost lestat was worked in well but it's so painfully clear his presence was artificially increased#like ugh#and now that the best scene in the entire series the one that is giving the show visibility like never before#involves no mayo warriors#you'll take maybe they'll take this as a sign#but who tf am i kidding#they'll waterboard themselves before they center the black and brown voices in the audience
