šŸŠ šŸŒ šŸ for Caesonius and Minah
thanks! // oc interview questions - fruits & veg
šŸŠ [ORANGE] Does your OC have a prophecy surrounding them? If they don't, what would it be?
CAES ā€” nope, but he's ripe for some ancient grecian thing about power and destroying enemies. as a character he's really built to be the evidence of past sins come back to haunt and he'd fit that kind of prophesying to a T. less the object of the prophecy and more the doom that brings it to pass MINAH ā€” she also doesn't have a prophecy but if she did it would be some kind of horrible "you can never escape your roots" thing. one of those "no matter how far you run you'll only ever be fulfilling the role you were meant to play" inevitabilities
šŸŒ [BANANA] Have parts of your OC been lost to time (in-universe)? What do they wish they could lose from themselves?
CAES ā€” not really. sometimes he thinks he wouldn't mind losing everything from before he became a slave, but if he didn't have that to claw himself back to (and beyond) as a reminder of freedom he wouldn't be the same person. he has little enough already; he holds onto everything he can MINAH ā€” yes, absolutely, and she doesn't want to see them again, except for when she does.
šŸ [PEAR] What is their current social standing? If they could change it, would they, and to what?
CAES ā€” he's in the magisterium! the uppermost echelons of society, even if he's barely made it, even if he's a freed slave. he's always wanted that power, that privileged, that standing. the only changes he'd make would be to be even more solidly rooted in his position. he wanted power and he got it and now he wants to keep it by any means necessary MINAH ā€” she's a traveling entertainer, a pickpocket and a thief, conscripted to the wardens to save the punishment of a judge. all things considered she's pretty damn low. it suits her fineā€”she's emphatically Not A Fan of the noble class and she enjoys her lifeā€”but sometimes she does wonder what it would be like to attend a ball as a lady and not a conscripted warden pretending to be a lady's entertainer entourage.

Okay so I see some people are debating what the monster from Still Wakes the Deep is. I'm inspired by the support from my Death Angel post, so I'm gonna try giving an analysis. Now science is not my strong suit, I'm much better at zoology, but here we go.
Of course, spoilers ahead!
So, the entity comes to light in act one. While Caz is being yelled at by his power drunk boss, Rennick, a worker going by the name Gibbo calls up to say there's an issue with the drill, something highlighted earlier by another worker. Rennick orders the drilling anyway, and thus begins the nightmare, as the drill seems to unearth and awaken a destructive parasite out for revenge. But I don't think that's as deep as it goes, pun intended.
Let's say, the creature is a parasite. A form of near sentient bacteria, though take that description with a grain of salt, I'm no scientist. Parasites simply cannot live on their own. That's an objective fact. They need a host. They exist within another for survival and breeding purposes, and multiply and spread through the body of another.
Parasites, bacteria and even fungi can live underground for years, and have been discovered to do so. Ancient lifeforms have been discovered just under the surface of earth, let alone deep underneath the ground and in the bottom of our oceans, one of the most complex and diverse biomes that our current science has barely scratched the surface of. It's highly likely this creature is a self replicating bacteria or parasite that was unearthed by the drill, and took up new hosts to survive in this change of environment.
But not every host worked. You can see half transformed, mutilated bodies everywhere, and some that haven't even changed at all. These bodies could not support the parasite and shortly died.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, a few select hosts DID end up surviving; Gibbo, Muir, Rennick, Addair and Trots. It's unclear what sets these people apart from the others, and I don't know enough about this topic to claim an answer. But I certainly do think these folks died soon into the transformation, and are not fully conscious in the body. They frequently repeat terms and phrases, and never say anything you might expect from an entity possessing them, implying it's borrowing words and sentences that have been said by the host before, in other circumstances.
The entity plays with Caz's memories and definitely the others' too, though not all of them good. It wouldn't be a surprise to realise that's where it's getting information about it's host, as it reads the memories inside the brain to learn faces, names, and even the host's personality. Which makes me wonder, does it even realise what it looks like? Does the creature itself actually realise it's a parasite? Or does it completely and fully believe it is the person it's connected itself to? It almost downloads their personality and tries to pretend like everything is completely normal.
Tumblr media
Let's talk about arguably the best monster (in my opinion), Muir. Muir moves about the area he frequently worked as what I assume was an engineer. He roams the familiar ground, almost unsure of why he's by himself. He often calls out to his coworkers, wondering out loud why they're treating him like he's different. Sure, this could be the real Muir's consciousness slipping in and out of the seams, but it's highly unlikely he would still be alive. Much like the zombie fungus, as it's often called, the host is not alive when the fungus is controlling it, and is merely a puppet. If the spiders it was corrupting could talk, I daresay, they'd be acting like them. Taking their place in the world, even if they don't realise it.
But every animal needs to eat. And eventually, that body is going to run out of tasty, tasty neurons. Like I said earlier, a parasite needs to spread. It'll breed, then spread to another to keep it's species alive. By infiltrating a 'pack' of animals, it will take anything to spread to the others. Which is exactly what the parasite does whenever it sees another human. Either that, or it will consume them, theoretically to feed the host so it stays alive, while keeping those tasty, tasty neurons for itself. You can almost see this process with Innes, as the elevator ascends without him, and you just faintly see Muir doing something in the distance. Likely consuming him for nutrients, as he was not connected to the parasite yet.
Next, there's Addair.
Tumblr media
Addair, much like Muir, patrols familiar ground. Even though Addair himself wasn't even in that area when the drill struck. Now Muir was actively in that familiar space in the beginning, and it's safe to assume that's his place of transformation. But Addair was eating in the cafeteria when the incident happened, not deep down in the engine. Did he go down when the impact happened, while Caz was unconscious? Maybe. But the lights were fine then, and the engine wasn't the problem, so he didn't need a reason to. Plus, he doesn't seem like the type to be work dedicated, more inconvenience dedicated. Considering what I said about the parasite (badly) taking their place in society, did it go to his place of work after detecting that as his 'natural environment', per se?
Plus, unlike Muir, who greets the situation with quotes of confusion, fear and anxiety, Addair is instantly aggressive. Even an asshole like Addair is likely to panic if conscious in this situation, so the nervousness was Gibbo and Muir exclusive. But Addair and Rennick become immediately angry upon seeing Caz, as they actively disliked him in life, and so the parasite processes him as a foe to it's host. I thought that was neat.
Now another take I have admittedly heard from several other people, but I thought was worth mentioning. The monsters are incredibly similar to sea creatures. Which means this underwater bacteria was possibly leaking out already, and transforming our animals, not enough to completely corrupt them, but enough to twist their bodies. Think of the appearances of deep, deep sea creatures, such as the anglerfish. Isn't it possible this parasite was responsible for their uncanny appearance, in this universe? Muir especially looks like a spider crab, or perhaps even a bigfin squid.
Tumblr media
Which again, is a deep sea creature. Rennick also reminds me of a blobfish once removed from the pressure of the deep sea. Addair seems very jellyfish-like, but may be something else very... tick-like. And even Trots gives me major merfolk vibes, with how untouched his torso is in comparison to his lower half.
This parasite could have been feeding off the neurons and breeding through our very ecosystem as the ground slowly gave away above it. The drill unearthing the source likely gave it a burst of control as so much energy was released at once, hence why it was so fast to literally spiral out of control.
But Scotland, by all means, is not the only place in the world connected to the ocean. Sure, they destroyed this batch, but other forms of this parasite live on elsewhere on earth. And the explosion may not have even destroyed it. It definitely would've destroyed the host bodies, yes, but certain bacterias can survive impressive damage, even heat hot enough to burn off human flesh. We'd best hope this is not one of those bacterias.
I didn't really get as far with this observation as I did with other horror studies, but I had fun nonetheless! Like I said, I'm really better with zoology (hence the sudden enthusiasm when I started on sea creatures), but I loved Still Wakes the Deep SO much that I just wanted to write down my thoughts. If you have any other theories, feel free to add them!
Also if I used your pictures/gifs and you would like me to add credit, I am so so sorry, I will absolutely add that as soon as you say so, I just got most of these off Google and couldn't find most the original sources. So yeah if you'd like me to add your name and mention, or you want me to remove it in general, feel free to just say and I'll add it, I don't bite I promise. Well... I won't bite YOU.
Sorry sorry, had to make a zombie reference--

BG3 having a bunch of recurring NPCs from *Elturel* aka the city so plagued by vampires it started the chain of events that led to the Descent, as well as a vampire companion (cosmic horror pun not intended) who makes a very lacklustre attempt at hiding the vampness (iirc you can have him bite people at the second Grove battle right in front of former Hellrider Zevlor), is definitely a choice.
I am ultimately glad they decided not to have any of the refugees comment on it because it would force some odd story choices (it seems very odd even post Avernus for Zevlor or Tilses to be chill with a vampire hanging around - desperation and lack of options are a hell of a drug, but the risk reward ratio on early game Astarion, who also does not hide his disdain for them, seems like the kind of thing they wouldn't be able to look past especially with children involved). Making the player choose between interactions with the tiefling faction and Astarion as a companion would be terrible in terms of experiencing the story to its fullest, while having them be easily persuaded he's all good would feel cheesy and off to me, so in that sense, the polite fiction that they're just completely unaware works best.
But
But
Consider the following: they're absolutely aware what he is and don't trust the party to do anything sensible about it (because let's face it, the party doesnā€™t really give off the vibe of being particularly sensible), so take things into their own hands. What I'm envisioning is Zevlor being too busy to be on it all the time so he deputises Tilses and maybe Ikaron or Asharak to handle it. At all times when the party is around the Grove, two to three people with sharpened stakes follow them, hiding behind corners spy comedy style and being wildly conspicuous to anyone with eyes - it's just that our player characters are failing every perception check.
(The less comedic version of dealing with this conundrum is one I'm still hammering out the finer details of for my post-game story. It is also narratively tasty but unfortunately, sad)

Ever have something happen where you know it could be the prologue chapter to an urban fantasy or horror novel?
Last week I was at the farmer's market, and I saw unfamiliar-looking plums at different tables. They were called "fantasy plums" or "vampire plums", maybe it was two different varieties, maybe it's different names for the same variety. I ended up buying a basket of mixed fruit. There were three of those odd plums in it; two I gave away, to people who'd helped me with stuff, and the third one I ate. (It was pretty tasty.)
Today I went to the farmer's market again, and this time I bought a basket of just "vampire plums". I asked the person who was selling them about it, said I'd never seen those things before last week; they said an that variety has been around for fifteen years, and they're only starting to be abundant now.
One of the plums got partially squished on my way home. Some part of it is deep magenta-red, maybe the juice, maybe the inside of the peel. I've just licked off some of the juice from the side. Wish me luck, and that it's not a horror novel, and if it's an urban fantasy novel then that these fruits are just a red (no pun intended) herring.

šŸšØ Ok, I've got something to SAY about lightsingers!!! šŸšØ
I know the "are lightsingers evil?"... or even just an easter egg... debate has sent this fandom into a tizzy a few times over. We're not on the ship controversy (pun intended), we're on the SS Earnest & Nerdy Close Reader.
My fave part of my TOG/Complete SJMU reread has been zeroing in on two groups of women/females that have long since itched my brain - priestess and witches... I also yearn for a Manorian book after all these years and I have been waiting for their... "boat hangouts" since I started my TOG reread. IYKYK.
Imagine my surprise when this description of a half dead Manon - a witch, yes, but a half Blackbeak, half Cochran heir, and witch queen - paralleled the one fleeting description we get of Lightsingers from Cassian while he, Nesta, and Azriel hunt for the mask (gotta love Manon's beautiful face casually being referred to as a mask) in the Middle in ACOSF.
Both of these scenes warrant a longer close read with more screengrabs (but I'm tired and have a gnarly cold a I can't kick) because both essentially question what it means to be evil... this is an oversimplification, but whether evil is in your nature or if intent is the deciding factor. But here's the lowdown:
In the ACOSF scene, Cassian literally just described witches, "not the human kind," who live in the bog/Middle before describing Lightsingers. Wow, what a fun coincidence. And when Nesta asks why the Prythian powers that be let the Middle and its creatures live, Cassian basically says that it's not right, or their call, to punish something for doing what it was born to do... unlike the inhabitants of the Prison who earned their spot there and needed to be removed from society and have their considerable powers leashed.
In the EoS scene, Dorian asks Manon (after she makes it clear he looks tasty af) if witches are partially human, to which she replies, "Not in the ways that count." Ok, ominous. Then Dorian remembers that witches have human, Fae, and Valg parts, but that "Valg blood had shaped the witches." But when Dorian asks Manon if she feels more human or Valg, Manon immediately responds saying that both the Valg, and Erawan, are her enemies. Nuance!
Things I think are interesting? Many have brilliantly speculated about Nesta's potential witchiness and her being smack dab in the middle of this big parallel is both very fun and, I suppose, unsurprising. The Dread Trove Mask and the allusion to Manon's beauty being a mask has me šŸ‘€ Also for all this talk of "oh no a Lightsinger will lure you and control you against your will..." might some of that lore been wrapped up in what it is the mask can essentially do? Granted it can only raise/control the dead, but that would qualify as "horror" to me. I think Prythian, Midgard, and Erilea are victims of the worst game of telephone ever.
Big picture? Every time a character says "oh yeah, we were taught x was evil," pretty consistently we're learning that was some big ol' Asteri (or whatever they're calling themselves on that planet) propaganda. And Cassian being taught that Lightsingers are evil when, by this reading, they could be very important witches? Well, that would make a lot of sense for someone raised by Illyrians who infamously hate witches (and women). Cassian is, of course, our sweet evolved himbo, but he might not know some myths he's always believed were fake news.
Anyway, this deserves a nice, long investigation, but my brain is already succumbing to NyQuil and my IQ is dropping by the second.
I leave you with this moving quote from Manon #growth

Hey here to annoy again with a scenario I came up with involving your stepdad William stories.
Imagine if at breakfast or dinner, either way it's when they're all together. The mother brings up to reader a paternity test, saying that whoever the father is at least deserves to know. I know you need the father's DNA to know if it matches, so the mom brings up that reader can ring up the boys she suspects can be the father and see if they're willing to do it. I can just imagine William panicking on the inside but trying not to show and readers trying not to look at him to not seem suspicious, meanwhile the baby's asleep in his crib not know the drama boiling up.
Just something I wanted to know your thoughts on, love your writing.
OH HEY ANON, LOOK WHAT I WROTE JUST NOW? ā™” ļøŽWhoopsie, my hand slipped :3 ā™” ļøŽ I love this. I love this so much.
Stepdad William sure as hell isn't going to let another boy fill in as the father figure. 'Granddad' William ( "Just call me dad, Granddad makes me feel so old" - His wife agreeing "Okay, honey." - You flinching because he did it again...) is yandere and possessive enough to find a way to keep little you and your son in his grip. But how... well... To your prompt: The drama. The danger. I'd not even thought as far ahead as that. As the stepdad drabbles are sort of just loose little stories, whatever came to mind when I had time to write, I didn't think up full tales (and if I did, I didn't have time to write it all down muahaha). Not to mention, we have Stu Macher as a stepbrother on the way as Matthew Lillard's performances got me obsessed with writing about him as well and .. He just wanted to come (pun intended). So there are so many little drabbles on my PC waiting to be uploaded. Even I am losing track XD I still haven't decided how Reader and William got here. It was just supposed to be three little drabbles about what would happen if... well... And you all got so excited by it that I have already written one more (and now this one too :3 Gosh ) I mean, I could write so much more (but got to get the kid from school... my rl one, not a fictional one haha). So this is just a little bit of a tasty teaser for you. Love you ā™” ļøŽ

"I'll come back for part 2 after work" well it's been over a month and I'm unemployed now, whoopsies
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am once again banging on the walls, begging the dc fandom, movies, cartoons, etc to give Harvey Dent more attention. He's SUCH a fascinating character! I'm so bored of Joker, man. Two Face is way more terrifying to me because he's much more grounded. There's also the tragedy of being a close friend of Bruce's that he failed to save. He's the murderer of Jason's father! He's been rehabilitated at least once and we see multiple times that there IS a chance for Harvey to be Harvey again, to live a good and honest life. The real tragedy is that it never sticks. Harvey can never escape this. I'd love to see more Batman media that explores the idea that Batman and Two Face are two sides of the same coin (pun absolutely intended) and they are both "cursed" to be what they are
Another fun thing here, Two Face has no idea that Tim isn't Jason. I haven't read enough of Jason's robin era to know if they have more development, but Two Face was Jason's first rogue! Jason went absolutely ape shit on him and just barely saves his life soon after. I also absolutely love how much the scrap metal Harvey is using looks like a crow bar, it adds so much more weight to this
Tumblr media
I think Two Face starts puzzling out that this isn't Jason here. He can't put his finger on what's changed yet, but he's on the path
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This nearly brought me to tears! This scene mirrors Jason's death so heavily, but Alfred was here this time! He could save Robin this time! After how hesitant Alfred was to let him do this in the first place, I can't imagine he didn't feel great responsibility and guilt here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They care about each other so much it makes me sick!!!! I'll say it to my dying day, Alfred deserves more credit than he gets for Tim's training, he had Tim's back from day one!
Tumblr media
god </3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The guilt complex and need to self-sacrifice came pre-installed, Bruce didn't need to do shit but teach him how to hit good
He's only 13!!! He feels so much undeserved responsibility for these two. He's just a random civilian kid who knows too much, and they're highly trained vigilantes who have been doing this for 10 years plus! I don't even know how long Bruce has been Batman at this point, but ALPOD happens soon after the nightwing comic where he says it's been 10 years since his parents died
Tumblr media
Bruce still hasn't even met Tim!!!
Tumblr media
Dammit Tim, why are you like this?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
God I miss the way comics used to use color, this is so tasty!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alfred and Dick teaming up to talk Bruce into letting Tim be Robin! Tim isn't even advocating for himself to be Robin yet!!! Bruce is stressing out so hard right now and they are NOT helping
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's where Alfred advocating for Tim to be Robin really starts to make sense. At this point, being Batman is Bruce's slow burn suicide, nothing Alfred can say or do will make him be more careful. Alfred's priority will ALWAYS be his boy, no matter what. And if having a Robin is what keeps Bruce alive, then so be it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tim is so little against the looming shadow that is The Batman but he's holding so strong. He's so determined
Tumblr media
I think THIS is where Tim really starts endearing himself to Dick. I think he sees a lot of himself and, painfully, a lot of Jason in Tim. Dick is just as dedicated to Bruce as Alfred is
Tumblr media
Cue Tim shifting strategies bc hunting down criminals matters to Bruce infinitely more than his own life ever will
Aaaaaand hit the image limit, part three incoming (in less than a month this time)
Batman #442 (My thoughts)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alfred has known him for ONE NIGHT and he already gets Master Timothy status. It's unreal how fast he got endeared to this little shit. Alfred and Tim's relationship is so underrated and I will never stop saying it! In a way, Alfred mentored him before Dick or even Bruce did. Alfred has such an important role in teaching him how to be a support for Batman, and accepting how dangerous what they do is as someone on the sidelines
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alfred is so strong, he really doesn't get enough credit for how hard being Batman's guy in the chair, emotional support, nurse, and father is. He could lose his son every single night and he just has to sit at home and hope for the best
Tumblr media
Right of the bat (hehe) Tim has SO much respect and appreciation for Alfred and it's really nice to see.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey look, it's the profile thumbnail!
It's like Tim can't physically restrain himself from jumping in to help when he sees a problem. He's so worried
Tumblr media
This is where we get into one of my biggest gripes with fanon, the "tim forced batman to make him robin" thing, and also a bit of the "bruce was irresponsible and chose to endanger a random civilian child" thing, although the 'are robins child soldiers?' discourse is too heavy for me to get into.
The biggest problem I have with it is when Dick and especially Alfred are portrayed as being against the decision and forced to accept it by Bruce
As with a lot of fanon, it's rooted in canon and then horribly exaggerated. Tim talks Alfred into taking him to save Bruce and Dick, despite multiple attempts to talk him down both in the cave and in the car. Tim followed Dick all the way to Haley's circus to try and talk him into being Robin, if Alfred didn't drive him the little shit absolutely would've found his way to the fight anyways the second the man turned his back. He's extremely stubborn. And, as established in earlier installments, Batman has been reckless to the point where it is VERY likely he'd die out of his own lack of self-regard any day. I really can't blame Alfred for having a moment of weakness here. Bruce means more to him than anything in the world and Alfred can see that in Tim.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is also where we get into the "did Tim stalk the bats and take pictures of them regularly?" fanon discourse. I definitely don't think there's canon support that he was following them every night on patrol as an extremely young child (he didn't even figure out their identities until he was 9. I've seen writers make him as young as FOUR trying to follow them and as a big sister to a 4 year old, y'all are insane) That being said, I think his use of the word "followed" could be interpreted in a few ways. It would be a perfectly valid interpretation that he means 'followed' in the way one follows the news, as in keeping track of. However, he does have A LOT of pictures of Batman and Robin and, in my opinion, a lot of them don't look like newspaper clippings. Plus Batman and Robin are rarely caught on film, I don't think the newspapers would catch them often enough for Tim to build a collection that big.
Tim also knows when Titans meetings are, where Dick's apartment with kori is and the fact that they're together as well as knowing what angle to peep through the window at and where to view both the tower and that apartment stealthily. He knows where Dick's New York apartment is, he knows how to get in, he knows how to get into Dick's safe.
He DID manage to follow Batman to that fight on the dam and photograph it.
I think that's too much evidence to completely dismiss the idea that he's followed them before
Tumblr media
And here's the real kicker about the 'Tim forced them' thing. TIM DID NOT GO IN WANTING TO BE ROBIN! TIM SEES THIS AS THE ONLY SOLUTION TO BATMAN'S SELF-DESTRUCTIVE VIOLENT SPIRAL!
Tumblr media
Tim is selfish. He is stubborn. He's reckless. He wants to help no matter the risk. He sees a problem that affects him deeply out of a VERY parasocial relationship and demands to be able to fix it no matter what anyone else has to say about the matter. And he's a 13 year old boy with a heart too big for his chest. Tim was made to be robin

YOUR TAGS ABOUT TK MISSING CARLOS' COOKING!!!!! I never thought I would enjoy their (temporary) break up and yet here I am having the best time with all this angst. And since Carlos does use food as his love language and coping mechanism/stress relief, with TK gone and things being in limbo with 126, he does not really have anyone to pour this into. He cannot even do that for himself because he found joy in doing it for TK. Not only has he lost his joy in cooking because their his kitchen reminds him of their times together, he has also lost his coping mechanism. Now each day is a struggle to just keep his head above the water until it no longer hurts.
I just!!! yes!!!! food is so important to Carlos, and it's always been this gesture of love and just thinking about their history - the midnight dinner as his first real move, the farmers market for dates, hosting the firefam, making dinner when the paramedics get kidnapped -Ā Carlosā€™ cooking is one of my favourite bits of characterisation, and it just gets so tasty in this context of their break up no pun intended
and agh exactly what you've said - that dullness that settles in when TKā€™s no longer there to cook for, that lack of someone grinning at you from across the table, enjoying what you made for them, and the joy slowly seeps out of this thing that has brought him so much happiness, and the food just doesnā€™t taste as good anymore. (god the potential mirroring of both TK and Carlos struggling to stick to consistent meals or just fixing food for themselves, because its just not the same to do it alone).Ā
and when Carlos goes home for those meals with his parents now - maybe the weekly Sunday lunches that he always helps his mother with, the ones where TK used to chat easily to Gabriel about the calls heā€™d been on that week whilst Andrea and Carlos watched the men they loved, and Andrea would nudge Carlos with a knowing look - but thereā€™s one less place set at the table nowadays, and helping his mother in the kitchen aches in a whole other way. and he tries, he really does, but Andrea sees the way his attention drifts when heā€™s checking recipes, or adding ingredients. his heartā€™s just not in it, and so sometimes sheā€™ll just quietly take over, rubbing Carlosā€™ back gently as he stares blankly out the window.
(and yeah I totally agree - I am having way more fun with this plot line than I ever thought, but I have to say I will be relieved when they're back together as they should be!)

@ruiyuki how could we mind?! These are genius!! Also consider:
-Jirou secretly practices all the Disney Songs in her room and Kaminari finds her out and they make a I'll Make a Man out of You performance to the class with JIROU SINGING THE LYRICS LIKE SHE'S THE GUY.
-also, A Girl Worth Fighting for with the Bakusquad. It's nuts and everybody loves itšŸ˜‚
-Iida at first being against it because "this is too much of a ruckus!" But then he sees Momo singing "I see the light" and he gives in because damn does she have the voice!
-Todoroki is mouthing the male lyrics of I see the Light and Momo notices but nobody else in class does and she blushes pffft what no?!
-also they have a karaoka night afterwards because?!!! Such good voices!
-and they're all so disappointed when it turns out Momo doesn't listen to pop songs, but hell SHE CAN PLAY THE PIANO WHAT?!!
-Jirou makes it her goal to make Momo more pop-cultured.
-mina is all about rock man, and she and Tokoyami rock those Metallica songs (pun absolutely intended). The class looks in awe as dark shadows does the air guitar. (Of course Kirishima and Kaminari join in at that pffft).
-tooru loves jazz?! And she cultuviates the class with her awesome blues and the next day Aizawa catches the kids humming jazz tunes and he's like wth happened?!
-midoriya in particular overanalyses the song and is absolutely caught in mumbling about them?! Ochako was really worried man.
-speaking of, Uraraka is the pop one. She introduced the class to kpop and she knew the lyrics by heart? Bakugou will NEVER admit them but he was singing along. Everybody saw him, though. Nobody rubbed it in his face because he was colking that night and they wanted his tasty nuggets.
While others make theories about Aoyama over the last bnha chapter, I want to take a moment to appreciate the beans that are BRUSHING THEIR TEETH TOGETHER.
Imagine Class 1-A bumping into each other in the dorms and ending up brushing their teeth together in the mirror with groggy faces.
Jirou will from time to time stick her earlobes into someone to wake them up. Mina tickles Kaminari so that heā€™d wake up because he fell asleep with his face in the sink. Sato wants to try taping Bakugou to the tap while heā€™s still asleep.
Just.
IMAGINE.
@kitanoko because youā€™re good at coming up with these.
