honestly sympathy to all the anarchs who have to live with nines and valentina “””disliking each other””” (read: flirting through thinly veiled banter, allying with each other and coming to each other’s aid when they need it most)

#valentina is just a flirty person and loves to torment nines #and there's the distrust there with how closely she worked with the camarilla (no matter how she claims she was doing it to get a leg up #/save herself/etc)#prior to doing a whiplash inducing turn and pledging anarch at the end of vtmb #because she keeps her true allegiances and goals so mfin close to her chest #they're still the ones who ally together first and approach the other anarch barons to figure out how #to face the kue-jin and second inquisition threats #and also vanevar down in san diego #so they do a LOT of work together and end up working really well together #and are so very clearly fond of each other #and they tease each other and compete and val flirts and pokes at him #and nines starts to bite back a little and val is like #OH HMMM i like him #emily.txt #ship: suck my kiss
