also I rewatched mig.uel's first appearance in the spid.erverse movies, aka that after credits scene (that I forgot about tbh). and I'm fascinated by the contrast of his voice in it vs the sequel's direction.

obviously the big thing is that the after credits is before the pain and agony of the sequel, but I don't know, I'm struck by how much of a nerd he sounded in it. like you can hear a bit of that in the sequel but it's rarer.

#i cannot help but let this flavor his and my si's first meeting #like picture this he caught them during a heist and the pair are sizing each other up #and perhaps a bit of 👀#but then he speaks and immediately the si realizes they need to bully him #nevermind that he's apparently 6'9 and they are 5'2 #they're legally bound or whatever to make this guy's night worse
