I think there’s a reoccurring thing where as bylers we run with a concept based on vague inferences/information (finn, noah, and jamie will be at the church! churchgate is real! byler is endgame!) and then get let down by new updates that add new information to complicate things. and that causes doubt. I think things would go a lot smoother if we recognized we know nothing about what is happening on that farm or that church or that whatever haha

Oh yes, we have so many gates and theories. It's almost too hard to keep track of. I've been kicking around the fandom observing since season 4 dropped and I'm still learning things (I still don't know where the static kiss-gate thing came from despite hearing lore for years for example). The entire Byler fandom is one big messy game of telephone. We're all listening and repeating but by the time things become common and cemented in the fandom, the context has strayed and claws have sunk in, hard to deviate differently. I think people should keep a flexible, open mind. It's why while I love to theorize, It's hard for me to commit to any one firm theory or idea. Because we're missing so many pieces of so many various puzzles.

So much "information" is just rumor with nothing but a tweet to back it up. Ok someone said Noah, Finn, and Jamie were to be on that church set this week. What... is the proof? That they were seen in ATL? That's such a funny bit of proof to me since the whole show is in ATL. They're all coming and going and it can be for anything, not just needed on set. It's fun though to speculate and theorize! Careful with expectations and disappointments though. We're wading mostly blind. No need to stress with constant we're back/it's so over. Analyze the show. Stick to our love of the pair and try to keep speculation light and malleable. Funner that way. 😊

Timmy has always seemed pretty genuine to me! 😊 He seems like he's always the same. 🤷🏾‍♀️

He seems like a goofball lol, and he doesn't seem to change or switch things up with different ppl, so I'm assuming he's real. He's always seemed very down to earth and nice to people from what I've seen. He's never given me "fake" vibes, that's all I'll say. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'll be honest, I don't really follow their rlshp all that closely lol, but with her being a Kardashian, I can see why some might feel like their rlshp is fake or PR.

They personally seem like they're happy together (whether real or fake) imo, so idk....I can't really say?

The only thing I doubt is that they are endgame. I don't get that feeling at all about them. I just think they're enjoying each other. But hey, I could be proven wrong! 😅

let me first ask about the final girl big q alien au??? points fingers together. sounds very interesting

OKAY OKAY SO.. jeez where do i begin. i took a lot of inspiration from s1 of dsmp as it's my favorite (and the alien franchise of course) but the first part of the au takes place on a ship called l'manberg. its usual captain, wilbur, has taken a job from the... government. hm. just realized i need a name for them. this ask is already helpful to get me thinking 💀 not that they're important until later, but still!!!!

wilbur's crew is in desperate need of funds, and the job seems simple enough. transport netherite to aid in the military's efforts of stopping galactic shitlord, dream, from completely taking over. the issue is that schlatt is assigned as captain in wilbur's place for the mission, quackity as his (often disrespected) second in command. schlatt is a shit leader (who would've guessed) and tensions rise quickly on the ship as they're rerouted from the original mission to check out a distress signal. it's possibly intelligent life that they haven't seen before. but they're all incapable of working together, it's a fucking nightmare. i won't spoil how the alien gets on the ship, or who they fuck over - though i doubt that the twist would be all that hard to guess.

all the people are on the ship are schlatt (captain), quackity (second in command), wilbur (demoted to a regular crew member for the mission), jack + niki (crewmates, mostly work on the bottom floor / main engineers / grunt work), bad + slime (joined as support per request of quackity), clay (😊head of science/medical. Who ever could this be) and sam (science as well + in charge of communicating back and forth with the gov's head). bench trio isn't on the ship physically, though they do make sort of an appearance! Lord is it daunting to work with all these characters maybe im in a bit over my head 😭 well aim high is what they say I suppose

it's also entirely from quackity's pov!!! and focuses a lot on dapduo's friendship. they're the main duo i would say. though i couldn't help but throw in crimeboys. karlnapity is endgame as well!!!! though there's a lot of tntduo too ^_^

oh also quackity has already technically been a final girl from where this au starts at. he's traumatized by his past crew being completely wiped out by dream, despite managing to wound the villain, he has the large facial scar / wears a super hot eyepatch. he's in his girlboss era
