fuches leading john back to barry while ignoring sally screaming for her son... so he could see barry one last time and then scuttle back into the dark, forever. breaking the cycle but in an evil way.

#i think my issue with this season is just that it needed more time...#so much character stuff got sketched out but not really fully explored #hank and fuches being paired as foils in the back half of the season is such an interesting choice #you can see them trying to tease out the threads of like #they're both such basically deluded people with weird warped relationships to violence and performance and masculinity #both terminally barry-obsessed which is a thing that goes all the way back to season 1 #when they're the only ones mourning barry when they think he's dead at the airstrip #i just think they could've done more with it i think hank's death scene was kind of silly. sorry #and i don't think that fuches' season 4 arc was fully justified although i appreciate the cosmic punchline of it all #(did anyone have 'fuches closes the portal' on their bingo card.)#barry
