I thought I was going to write maybe two pages of a scene/chapter of my WIP but a few hours later and oops I wrote 5 and almost a half pages.
#they're 5 very bad pages but they lay out the scene decently enough. the dialogue is not exactly how I thought it'd go but#being a writer always means being surprised by whatever I come up with anyway. as a rough draft at least. LOL#and this chapter/scene is like...all dialogue. (it's a phone conversation so it makes sense.)#(I just realized: yes I did write about five pages of a phone conversation. omg. and I didn't even write all of it! but most of it yes.#I got to the end and went 'eh...this can be expository now.' only I ended it really horribly lazily. like it's not even done. but whatever.#weird...in my document I have 5 pages but on wordcounter it says my word count is equivalent to 8 pages. what?#when I'm lonely in a world of my own
