POV: Your redeemed villainous saiyan boyfriend sends you off for another day of work

The alarm went off on a very Monday-feeling Friday. The weekend was just hours away for you, and while motivated to get through the day, your soul ached to stay in bed. But you betray it, and the routine begins with a good morning kiss to your beloved before you dredge yourself to the bathroom in hopes of refreshing your spirits with a hot shower.

You bribed yourself to press on with your new outfit to wear to work, the beautiful lashes you couldn't wait to put on, and the lip color bought specifically to bring it all together. Though tempted to crawl back into bed and join the half-naked body still sleeping in it, now you were eager to make an impression. More than actually just going to work just to work, it was enough to keep you motivated to go.

Eventually, he does wake up to see you off. Stealing what affection he could before you left for the day. He can see your hesitation to leave in your eyes as he takes your hand into his own and flashes you with his warm, tired smile.

"You're beautiful and capable of great things." He affirms to you, the croak of his voice clearing as he leaned his forehead to yours and looked you in your eyes. He cups your face in a reassuring manner, thumb tracing your bottom lip. "Like murder..." Then you wouldn't have to go to work, you wouldn't huff and sigh about it anymore and you could stay with him, devote your morning hours to the affection he wanted seven days a week. And, simply, it would be hot to him if you did return with a victorious conquest from your labors, wearing the blood of your enemies.

But that is sadly not the average human's desire and he's come to terms with that. You don't act on such impulses as Saiyans do. His grin widens as a soft chuckle leaves his throat. "Don't do that, though." He reassures of his jest and his hand slides to your shoulder with a light squeeze. "Unless it's completely necessary..." The sincerity of his words was punctuated with a solemn stare into your eyes, his smile completely gone. The brief silence between you as you look up at him mildly unnerves you, questioning if it was still just a joke. He only follows up with a kiss on the side of your head.
