What people took from the popularity of intersectional feminism is that “women are still oppressed! Like women of colour, queer/trans women, women in poverty, disabled women, refugee/migrant women etc :)” and have lost touch with the reality that even the theoretical white rich cishet able bodied incredibly privileged woman is.. still oppressed…. Under the Patriarchy. Which is a system that oppresses women.
