I looked at him as he arrived with Blair at the kiss on the lips party, they looked so happy together. But I can't help but imagine myself with him.

"what is she doing here?" Blair asks as she glares Serena's way. "I don't know but whatever it is it better not ruin the party" I sighed feeling defeated, their catfights honestly gets my energy drained.

I watch as she goes to find chuck, and Nate stands besides me, "hey everything's fine? You look tired." He asks as he offers me a glass of champagne, "yeah I'm fine, just drained from everything you know?" I looked into his eyes as I answered him, and saw his gorgeous face, those eyelashes, those blue eyes, the little freckles, and his lips- omg.

I looked away as I felt those feelings creeping into my mind, "you know you can count on me right?" He reassured me, while pulling my face towards him to face him.

"I know Nathaniel, it's just, you know those catfights between Blair and Serena, and how I'm the one left hanging in between them needing to make a choice when I just want everything to be back as it was before." I took a deep sigh and replied as I felt butterflies in my stomach. I wasn't lying but I wasn't telling the truth either.

"yeah i know but it's not going to be how it was before, atleast not anytime soon. But don't worry, you have me okay?" He said with a sincere look in his eyes, "I know" I gave him a weak smile.

Soon Charles and Blair came, "care to dance with me Nate?" Blair asked him for a dance and he joined her.

"you should tell him you know" chuck said as he watched me look at him with a longing eyes.

"he doesn't feel the same." I sighed as I took one more shot, only chuck knew how I felt about him, how? I don't know.

"you never know." He encouraged me, that's what he's been doing since a long time.

"he's with Blair, Charles and they look happy!" I protested, honestly when it comes to confessing, I'm not good at it.

"are they though? We all know Nathaniel doesn't feel a shit for Blair, he's doing it for his family's sake." He instead me and tbh he wasn't wrong, but what about Serena, now she's back he'll be with her ofcourse.

"Charles, Serena is back. We all know he loves her. I don't stand a chance, unless and until I'm willing to be a rebound which I'm not."

"okay fine, I won't force you but promise me to do something about it."

"only if you tell Blair how you feel" I said with a smirk and I watch his face turn pale.

We both knew alot of things about eachother, including our secret crushes, which no one knew.

We're like brother's and sister's, shocking right? The first girl who Charles bass didn't tried to bang out of respect?

So I was listening to the radio the other day and the song “Hey There Delilah” came on and it reminded me of Diavolo’s mom (cuz her name is Delilah duh!! 😛) I started to listen to the lyrics very closely and I was like “omg! It’s KINDA giving DK and Delilah, just a little bit 🤏” especially in the beginning where it goes—

(NYC = Celestial Realm // Thousand miles away = he’s in the Devildom and she’s in the CR // Times Square = something in the celestial realm??)

It got me wondering…

Would DK write a song about his Delilah, in secret while she was an angel, when he fell or was falling for her? (And maybe Faust finds it and teases him about it lol)

Idk but I feel like DK was the first to fall, bc yk how Diavolo, a demon like his father, was mesmerized by Lucifer’s beauty when he first met him and also Luci and Delilah were angels so it makes me think it’s probably a ‘like father, like son’ kind of thing 🥴 but I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️ (I’m getting a little delulu and excited thinking about how they fell in love)

So DK wouldn’t write a song mostly because he’s no song writer so making lyrics would be an up hill battle and he’s a shy singer. I imagine something like Joel Last of Us, but deeper.

I'm still buying DM stuff, I think over it more or less. I bought a 40 years old American collection LP (up here) that I already have in CD (40 years old and American). Is it logical? Of course.

I bought my second Construction Time Again (down here, Made in Sweden) and sold my first one for 12€ (in the middle , Made in West Germany, bye-bye...), because it hasn't got this black sleeve with the lyrics and the paper cover is in really bad condition, though the record is perfect. My 1st selling! Rocks.

I bought an interesting double CD from Taboo Records, seems Hungarian but it is written "Made in Pangea", like the 100 million years old, ancient continent. This is Dream On Budapest!, the Exciter Tour concert in Hungary, 12th of September, 2001. Fans made a short video on the day of the gig about Dave while he's speaking on his cellphone next to the hotel they stayed (it would've been a hard day after the 9/11 attack, leaving his family or friends back home in NYC).

Another Videos 86>98+ DVD (2002) which is double DVD compared to the first edition and the 2nd record has treasures including Condemnation (Paris Mix) official video that was made in Hungary and But Not Tonight's video which song I love somehow, that's why I bought Black Celebration's U.S. edition LP. I have the DVD's 1998 version (scroll down), now could sell it but I need this for the full story: Corbijn finally agreed to put this beauty to the official selection.

First I ordered this double DVD from Antal, I've found it on his shop's website. He went on holiday for whole July and August, so I had to wait until 2nd of September. He was much friendly this time although I didn't buy anything, because he talked me out of it! In fact the DVD has the European bar code on his website, but he has the US version, that I couldnt' have played at home in his opinion. Weird, but I believed him and went home empty-handed.

Than I was searching for it for hours, 22 years old stuff, does it exists in Hungary at all? I found it only at French Amazon. You can bet, after 1,5 months the DVD lost somewhere in Europe, luckily I got back my money after 4-5 e-mails. Without any hope I visited an infamous online used stuff market and I found a piece that was sold already. I didn't know why, but I called the seller by phone, he answered "actually I still have the DVD because I haven't sold it last weekend at the blablabla festival". Wow. On the same day I got it <3

Short report: I have 38 vinyls so far - including a Soulsavers album, 12"-7" together, 5 more singles is coming in couple of weeks. After that I'll sell 3 of mine which are the same pieces but other editions, I prefer British copies if I find somewhere. Also have 14 CDs (with Paper Monsters), it's funny, because I promised earlier that I don't buy one, and actually I need 2 more (Precious and an other edition of Only When I Lose Myself because of its lovely B-side songs: Free and Surrender). 5 DVDs and a cassette and 6 books/magazines (one more is coming by my "dealer"), some pins, shirts, jewelleries and other clothing. Like a teen, OMG. Bizarre. Laugh, I do the same. Happily.

Raph is the last one to jump back into the manhole after Leo calls out to him, he lingers longer looking at the van. HE REMEMBERS THE VAN AND FOLLOWS IT & REPORTS BACK. Yes!!! Like, she’s had organic reigns before. Why not let the work speak for itself if you’re that confident in it (I guess she’s not…) ? Why FORCE it, especially when everyone KNOWS you are? How are you even proud or excited, it’s not even an achievement. Then after the initial shock of that dies down Cages is back to saying Taylor was “unwell” during that time, and takes her “In Summation” poem that’s in the physicals literally when she says “it wasn’t love, it was mutual self harm, a manic phase.” As someone who prides herself on lyric analysis, how does she not see in summation is a legal term and taylor is pleading not guilty by reason of insanity to the public court and that’s the only reason she said that? Ppl LIE to get off as not guilty, lol, she told the truth in the songs. Now she’s talking about Travis like she used to talk about joe, speculating how many days a week they see each other, claiming Taylor will move to KC for him (when I thought she celebrated when Taylor went back to nyc and later condemned Joe for having her move to London….) , that they’ve “decided to spend their lives together” — like, WHO told you that? I don't, but somebody here probably does- do we know how or when/where he actually met VK? Not sure how she ended up hanging with some of his friends since she was half their ages. Did he bring her in, or is there any legitimacy to them meeting up in groups at first? Maybe he did try to stick to group settings in the very beginning? I know he thinks with his penis, but his career has always been his top priority. I don't see him throwing it away and risking jail time if something went down in a really early year and it got out.

Since I don't know, let's say they did and built a friendship. As much as one can have with someone who would be their daughter's age anyway. The doe eyed way she dreamt about putting daisies in his hair obviously tickled his fancy, so after some time, they pursued some solo outings. Her already knowing some of the people in his life before meeting Dick was a change for him in itself. So was having a semi-friendship first.

Perhaps he didn't quite know how that was going to turn out by taking it a step further? Being new territory. He probably took that step with the mindset that it'd be no different than any of his other frequent flyers. But none of them were already in with his people. I'm sure that complicated things and being friends made things messy in his arranged world. He might have tried to keep it really casual, but things never really ended with them being in the same circles.

So they'd break, and they'd get together, and they'd break again. Busy lives. Different schedules. So many more girlies to explore...time passed and the more together time the more that became familiar and maybe even nice. We watched how feelings took a lot longer to progress for him. It definitely wasn't a switch just flipped on.

We also watched as, over the years, she was invited to more and brought in to more important pieces of his life. He was getting entangled with her so fucking slowly that he probably didn't even register it was happening. Knowing what we do about him, he was never planning a forever of any kind with her.

So, maybe he has feelings above his belt for Thinnie, maybe he doesn't. But she's not meant to be the next VK. Neither is anyone else in his dating pool. VK wasn't even supposed to end up being what she was. I don't think he's looking for any replacements. Because he got out of a long unplanned relationship and because he's still not looking for that with someone.

We don't have 1000% proof of how/where JL and VK met, but imo it's quite safe to assume this was their 1st how and where. 👇

i tend to read bob dylan as an answer to the hopelessness in twin skeletons. "there's a room in a hotel in nyc that shares our fate and deserves our pity" -> "so what fates DO we share? windows down, wind in your hair, baby", as in, yes, we went through all of that, but we made it ("sometimes the only way out is through"). and yes, the windows down line also calls back to favorite record, especially when you think about the fact that bob dylan was supposed to be on ab/ap. bob dylan (like many ab/ap songs) is one of those songs that patrick frankensteined from multiple livejournal posts from a million years ago, and there's a line change specifically that makes me completely insane: "i wonder if anyone else thinks of you as much as i do, even you" becomes "no one EVER thinks of you as much as I do. no, not even you", like the uncertainty is gone. "come down from your holy mountain, i'm down to put your shame on a billboard for a second" as saying, sure, i will write all these hopeless songs for you, but you have to know what comes after that. "do you love me like that?" "yeah."

omg I just wrote an entire thing about Twin Skeleton's, and I LOVE this. When I was looking at that "fates" line in Bob Dylan, I knew there was something about fate in FOB lore somewhere, but I could not think of when Pete said they were fated to be creative soulmates, like, used that exact word. I TOTALLY forgot it's right there in Twin Skeleton's, and I love how it links the two songs, especially, as you say, because this was going to be on the same album.

Also, I looove that line change, I didn't know about that. Sometimes I forget to credit Patrick for changing lines up, which he sometimes does. I think I don't give enough attention to the fact that Patrick's perspective is in these lyrics, too. Like, the bit about "put your shame on a billboard for a second," like, that could be Patrick talking TO Pete, why he can't he shift a couple of lines here and there to give himself a voice? I talk about the Wandering Pronouns of Pete's lyrics because of how Patrick sutures them together, but also sometimes he changes them altogether. And so Patrick changes that line to "No one ever thinks of you as much as I do," as an answer to Pete's question: Do you wonder it? I'll tell you what: No one thinks of you as much I do. Not even you.

joy gifted me a special seat for my bike. it doesn't put any pressure on my tailbone. went for my first long bike ride in months after work. felt like the "ppl who dont do well in therapy when they go for a massage 🤯🌌🧠" meme. i got to thinking how proud i am of me. this time last year was when things started falling off the rails. no job, looking absolutely gaunt and ghoulish, nowhere near over all the shit that happened when i was 26 & then i went on that 4 day bender bike ride hoping to get free and instead threw a match on an excruciating depressive episode that had me regularly screaming uncontrollably and shitting the bed out of fear for months omg like remember when i developed those whackola tics and compulsions?? like sometimes i forget that i compulsively screamed until i vomited into my own hair and then didn't have the strength to wash the vomit out for days. and for the past 2 years i worried that none of the seeds i planted were reaping any fruit. but im starting to see little blossoms. i have a good job and they're angling to give me the ED role. some of my new friendships are increasing in vulnerability, which is nerve wracking but necessary. things are going good with fern. our independence makes our time together so much sweeter. i was scared that coming back to toronto would shatter the fragile hope i reclaimed in vancouver. but im still hopeful. and my tailbone is doing much better by the way. it's still 4 months since i broke it but i survived the 10 hour klunk rides to nyc without significant repercussions

like imagine will and daisy drinking hot cocoa and watching xmas movies on xmas eve. on xmas day, they put on their puffers & go ice skating, they eat so much they land themselves in a food coma which consists of them sitting on the couch watching even more xmas movies, they bake cookies, & do gingerbread houses together

when they give out their presents will & daisy bought each other like 5 million presents but every single time before holiday shopping they’re like “let’s not go overboard on the presents” but they go overboard every. single. time.

It was a hectic Friday night at the Arena. I was in the staying in the Judgement's Locker room, getting myself ready for the Induction Ceremony. I was getting my makeup done by Rhea.

Rhea: You're going to look good for Damian for tonight's ceremony.

Rhea: I know so.

Shaynell: Alright.

Rhea: Good. I'm almost done.

He continue applying some dark eye shadow and lipstick.

She then passed me a hand mirror. I quickly gasped at my appearance.

Shaynell: I do. I'm surprised that you actually have make up that matches my skin tone.

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

while i was working as a barista toward the beginning of the year, i had a coworker who i got on really well with. she's nice and fun and respected the systems i needed to work efficiently hehe i started introducing her to pjo by bringing the books in one by one for her, but when i quit she still wasn't done with the series, which was good because it kept up hanging out regularly to swap books. we got piercings together in august, auditioned for the play we're now both in together (and proceeded to get absolutely shitfaced afterward while having some of the best conversations). she started writing poetry again because i shared some of mine with her. i stopped by her apt randomly one night when i was in her area and just wanted a friend to talk to and she not only let me in, but was happy i stopped by--her husband too. oh yeah and i love her husband and he's a big fan of me and my friendship with his wife bc apparently we were both needing someone like each other this year <3

18. A memorable meal this year?

omg the diner in canada for sure. this was when i was driving back from detroit with a stranger bc we both had flown one leg of a flight before apparently the weather and spirit airlines made it impossible for us to get on the second leg until like 48 hours later. and this girl was 19 and ready for an adventure, so we drove across the river into canada without passports just to go to this burger place bc google said they had vegan burgers for me. while we were sitting there eating, we made friends with this rowdy group of 35-45yos who apparently went to this diner together all the time. they were very drunk and very fascinated by the fact that we were from the states. they were like.. why are you here?? but they were really fun and the burger was yummy and my new friend and i thought it was hilarious. if we hadn't had to get back on our treck to nyc, we probably would have stayed with them and ordered some drinks ourselves haha

when my brother came into town in january, i finally got to visit the top of the empire state building!! and while it isn't as high, or have as good of views, as the top of the rock, it still felt momentous. like we were right under olympus!!! 12yo me would have lost her shit hehe it was fucking cold tho. the wind that day was brutal.
