#one thing i really really like about my boyfriend is that he doesn't sideline me with anything#like even if it's just hammering nails out of an old board he just naturally goes 'you want a go?' and of course i do#and like his family is insane (in a fun way) and they don't care i have no experience with actually doing work on old cars#they just pull me along and go 'ok in the summer we'll take this engine apart just to see how it works do you want to help' and im like!!!!#those people may be crazy artist types and also their parenting may be questionable but they are definitely cool
