I see a lot of conflating between possessiveness and jealousy in regards to VegasPete, so I'd like to add my (possible) controversial opinion on it:

Both Vegas and Pete are possessive freaks - their ways of showing it are vastly different, but it's there. They have not, do not and will not feel jealousy over anything or anyone ever though.

#let's leave the jealousy antics to KP #they had plenty of that throughout the show they've earned it (by constantly testing my patience)#but yeah idk I can't see it for VP sorry guys #Pete doesn't know what jealousy even feels like #and Vegas feels so envious over the main family that I don't think he has any left for Pete #and with how strained the relationships between all of them have become post-canon #there can't even be many opportunities for Vegas to get jealous over anything #Pete and Porsche? Good one #Pete and his fellow colleagues? Hilarious #Pete and Kinn? Now this one...#this one could work - from real owner to fake bad owner who almost got his pet killed #I'm thinking as I'm typing don't mind me #I'm open to the idea of Vegas getting jealous over Pete but 100% not in stereotypical ways #while the idea of Pete getting jealous is inconceivable to me #that's it I'll stop now #vegaspete #meta post
