Writing and analysing / thinking about Pavel has also made me think long and hard about Sulu too and I can't even explain how much I love them both, especially together, and I'm not even talking in a romantic sense here. Just them. Their back and forth, their camaraderie, the bond that has grown between them, not to mention the shenanigans and constant misunderstandings. They're sweet and good foils to each other but also with the capacity to be volatile and wild and fuck, they're such a good duo.
