Person who's only experience with the layout of an American farmhouse is from RE7, while designing an American farmhouse: getting real RE7 vibes here
#we're not taking inspiration from the game btw we're going off floor plan references#theres no copying only vibes and we do feel like we have a good grasp of the vibes now#but yeah we're much more familiar with the game's house because we adore that game#theres still a lot of differences because the game's farmhouse is.....a game house....which requires some funky layouts#so really what we're picking up on is the genuine farmhouse vibes from the game that matches the stuff we're using as references#game house looks like farmhouse and making farmhouse results in game house vibes
