Maybe it's a little paranoid to think this but I know there's a lot of first gen/immigrant students at my university and it has a really stupid history of being complicit with shitty government policy. I'm scared for a lot of people today.
#and of course other's in the community throughout the city#my heart breaks thinking of even one person who gets caught in the raids#it's literally life altering if you don't have the resources to come back someway#and most people don't#this is genuinely so fucking vile and terrifying#luckily my home region didn't have any planned raids today.
