Listen. I know he looks the same except for a palette swap. It's called a visual cue for the audience. This isn't Clark Kent taking off his glasses, Danny has a full ass transformation sequence! So I think Daon's backstory is significant for us to understand a bit more about Han Daon as a character. He's got this huge scar from his childhood incident that he never really healed from. Also, he's no saint. We've seen him wavering in what he should/should not do more than once so far.

He knows giving police protection to criminals is a waste but still does it because it's the lawful thing to do. He wavers for a couple of seconds there when Kang Bitna offers to kill his parents' killer for him because the law cannot. From what I see, he's always walked on a thin line between what is right or wrong according to society's definition. He definitely has a violent streak in him; he's just never had to fully give in to that.

You bet he'd have ended up on the dark side after his parents' death if not for his noona who never gave up on him, turned him away, with her love and kindness, from a path that could have led him to darkness and uncertainty. Now that Detective Soyeong is gone, the person who showed him light is gone too. His only family after he'd lost his own, gone. And he's back to being that kid again who had so much unresolved hurt, trauma and angst against the law that didn't believe in him (a wound he still carries). Law that wasn't enough to give him his well-deserved justice. Back then, he had Soyeong who was a human and law abiding individual. Now, he has Kang Bitna aka Justitia, a demon who serves justice in her own way because she knows the human law is faulty. If Han Daon was guided to life and light back then because of Soyeong, would he then give in to death and darkness now, because he is already spiraling as it is and there's no one to bring him back to light?

Why do I feel Kang Bitna actually wouldn't want that? It was different back when she'd stabbed him, but the switch is flipped now, and I think she'd care very much about Han Daon's future and fate. The way she goes 'HAN DAON!' and 'Then you'll end up in hell too' and stares at him like she doesn't recognize this version of Daon--I've replayed that scene far too many times.

Because Bitna may say Daon's morality and tenacity to get to the truth is annoying, but I think she doesn't even know that she appreciates it, which is also why she gets so worked up every time she feels like Daon's faked his emotions or betrayed her with his words: she expects him to be on the side of truth and righteousness.

Even though we see her supporting Daon in the precap for eps 9 and 10, she might go out of her way and even risk her own existence to keep Daon away from darkness later, because now if something happens to him, she'd be the first one to cry.

A part of me also thinks Daon cannot go ALL the way with his revenge because he'd made a promise to Detective Soyeong to always be a detective first and do his job. It's his vengeance talking right now but once that wears off and reason kicks in, I don't think he'd want to kill somebody unlawfully, disrespecting the promise he made to his noona.

Or we could totally have a switch up with Bitna becoming the superego and Daon, the id. It'll be interesting to see if Bitna starts shifting gradually toward the 'unevil' side while helping Daon, having his back and protecting him. She might have to take Daon's life after all (deal with the Demon and all), but at a time when it'll hurt her THE MOST doing so. Maybe the power of Kylum can come to their rescue then, reviving Daon? It also makes me think if the 'Other Thing' you need for Kylum to work its divine magic is unconditional love/sacrificial love, where Bitna would have to willingly give up her life to revive Daon?

Honestly it really pissed him off.

Everyday,his mail was filled with letters and little knick knacks you’d sent him and it was getting really really annoying,because you’d had the brilliant idea of making your letters look like official ones he actually needed to open.

He’d gotten pretty good at telling when it was one of your bs ones or his actual mail now.but he’d always end up goin thru the ones he’d sorted out too.

He couldnt risk missing anything important.

And while it did make Chuuya’s life a living hell,he didn’t think you were worth engaging.so he suffered in silence.

That is,until he received a rather unsavoury package.

“Unsavoury how op?”You must be asking!

Well lets say he knew it was a bs letter when he saw the package alone.

Because it was wet.

He grabbed a paper towel and used it to toss the package aside,looking through his actual letter pile to make sure nothing important had been soiled as a result of your annoying-ass shite.

Thankfully nothing had been ruined but when he had finished work that day,his curiosity got the best of him and he put on a pair of disposable gloves to open the package (AINT NO WAY IN HELL HES TOUCHIN THAT SHIT WITH HIS ACTUAL GLOVES! NAH UH!)

When he opened the envelope a set of undergarments fell out,and they were...nope he wasn’t gonna finish that thought!

This was the final straw!

This had gone on long enough and he was fed up.

Chuuya used the mafia’s resources and was able to find someone who could find out who tf you were

Once he had his answer he looked at your address and thought he’d give you about as much of a surprise you had him.

He picked open your lock and stood by your window all the photos and pictures of him you had tacked around, making his skin crawl.

just as you were coming in through the door you noticed a figure by your window and squeaked out loud in shock,dropping your bags.

“You-you’re-”

“The person you’ve been fkin inconveniencing,yeah” he said,taking a purposeful step towards you.

You took a step back,this wasnt how you’d envisioned your meeting! He wasn’t supposed to be mad...why was he mad??

“Inconvenience? I never meant to inconvenience you!” You squeaked out.

Chuuya didn’t even try to hide his disdain at that.but he also wanted to get out of there asap!

He looked you directly in the eye and said in the most intimidating voice you’d ever heard, “either you leave me the fxck alone,or ill send my subordinates to take out the trash.”

You were so shook by this that you fell over backwards and he took that as his cue to leave.

He held onto his hat and ducked back through the window.

this snapped you out of your train wreck of thoughts.

You reached out to him and shouted,clear as day and loud enough to be heard, “BUT I LOVE YOU!”

He looked back at you and the disgust that came over his sharp features managed to distort them in a surprisingly unattractive way

“Not my fuxkin problem!”

And with that he disappeared and your entire reality came crashing down as the fog cleared and you realised just what had happened.

“Ooh mail!” He said as he went through the pile kunikida had brought up for him.

But nope. None of the snacks he’d ordered had come yet. And he knew better than to eat mystery candy from strangers,his dad boss fukuzawa had taught him better.

This was the fourth day too...

Ack he was sick of this!

Ranpo quickly deduced your location and asked dazai to take care of it.

He knew dazai’s past from the mafia and he really wasn’t bothered to go himself.

But he also knew dazai wouldn’t do anything unnecessary,so he was the perfect choice!

When dazai came back ranpo asked him how it went

“Oh,nothing special,just some poor soul stuck in a delusion”

To which ranpo nodded,commenting that it was finally over.

“Yeah about that,they said they loved you...sounded pretty convinced you loved em too.”

Ranpo knew this,but he asked dazai what his response had been nevertheless.

“Ah,” said Dazai, falling into the chair next to ranpo’s.

“I just told them that you had better things to do and better people to spend your time with.”

“ a bit harsh?”

“Mhm,but you know there wasnt any other way.”

Ranpo nodded once again and went back to his snack and cartoon.

The next days came and went and ranpo finally had his regular mail on schedule.

Now his pile was of boxes of sweet drinks,snacks and even more delights!

This entire ordeal irked kunikida to his core

It neither made sense according to his ideals,nor did it make sense in general

Furthermore your letters and packages were becoming a nuisance

He had to end it.

Kunikida asked katai to find your location and when it was handed to him he took it and left.

Thirty minutes was all he allocated for this entire situation ,and he aimed to end it within his pre-set time frame.

He knocked on your door and when you answered it,you were obviously taken aback!

You struggled to find words so he filled in the silence.time was ticking after all...

“Good day,y/n. Im sure you know who i am but im here to tell you that i am not interested in you.you fail to meet all the criteria to fit into my spousal plan project and you have shown a severe lack of honorable ideals.therefore i would like you to leave me alone and allocate your time more constructively.thank you and good day.”

He bowed and turned to leave but you gripped his arm and with determination dripping from your every word said, “but i love you! We’re meant to be!”

He sharply shook off your hand and barely even looked at you as he said, “i wholeheartedly disagree.take care and goodbye.”

And then he left without even sparing you a glance.

i love this fuckin argument kaveh and alhaitham have on the port ormos bulletin board

it's one of those instances where kaveh and alhaitham are arguing and alhaitham is saying that like, while he disagrees with kaveh lol, he also doesnt deny theres truth to what kaveh says.

but i also think it's funny how alhaitham is like "end of conversation. ALSO-" like bitch you kept going IMMEDIATELY fkjsjfklds and then that stupid bit where theyre like "he said this" "he did not fucking say that" "he did" "no he didnt fuck you" "he did give me a month ill prove it!!!!" THEYRE FIGHTING LIKE CHILDREN ON A PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD😭😭😭

MAYBE im reading into it way too much bc i have terminal haikaveh brain. maybe. BUT!!!! art is subjective i can do what i want :^) anyway i think a lot about this part because TO ME it sounds like kaveh keeps assuming the worst from alhaitham - makes sense, they argue all the time and they def have a turbulent relationship. HOWEVER!!!!! while alhaitham does like poking fun at kaveh and gets annoyed with him dskjfdsklf i FEEL LIKE theres an implication that he like, does not enjoy seeing kaveh suffer the way kaveh just assumes he does.

like here, kaveh is like oh, youre not hoping to see me make a fool of myself are you >:(?? just bc alhaitham was like. in a location unexpectedly. lol. and then alhaithams phrasing is just so specific where he like, doesnt say yes but doesnt say no either lol. hes like "oh so you think i get joy from seeing you in pain day in and day out? well if that were true id be entertained always because youre always in distress"

but like. I DUNNO MAYBE IM BEING STUPID BUT JKSDLFJDKL to ME it felt like he was deflecting the question. to be fair it was a silly question so maybe alhaitham didnt think it worth answering lololol but like "are you here to watch me struggle" "why do you assume i enjoy you struggling" is the vibe i get. but then with bullying also bc alhaitham is still poking at him and his distresses lol jdkslfdskl

and then like the moment the traveler is about to be like "kavehs feeling sad" and kaveh tries to deflect it, i personally think alhaitham managed to come up with a distraction to get kaveh to walk away for a minute so he could hear about kavehs troubles bc hes IMMEDIATELY LIKE

alhaitham says stuff like this a few times, i think hes got a teapot line or so where he says similar things 🤔 but hes like "yeah people go about their lives doing different things and thats fine everyone should stay in their lane as long as theyre not disrupting the lives of others" AND YET!!!!!!!!!!!! he and kaveh endlessly fight with each other on how they go about their lives. trying to get the other to see their way of thinking even though i think they both acknowledge [or it says somewhere in the lore that they do] that it is a losing battle bc theyre both really set in how they see things and their methods of doing things. I JUST FIND IT REALLY INTERESTING that alhaitham is like, "mind your business and ill mind my business what ever bye" but when it comes to kaveh hes like. no actually i have to debate you. the way you feel isnt wrong however your actions make your life really hard for yourself and you could be living better if you changed" like he cannot stay in his lane when kaveh is involved!!!!! and like the whole reason he's even IN the parade of providence event at all was bc he was pursuing a thread of research that he figured out was connected to kavehs dad and his disappearance!!! mister "i dont want to get involved if it doesnt disrupt my life" got involved to give his boy some closure on the haunting of his dead father!!!!!!!!!! Uh... hey everyone! The names Rowan! Prince of Valourinth, but uh... I'd... rather not use that title... so just call me Rowan!

This is a blog I put together so that me and my friends can interact with those beyond our dimension! Pretty neat, huh?

Though I suppose I should explain a little bit about our own dimension... uh... you may have to bear with me then, this is gonna be a long post...

If I am to give to some basic information about our world, we have a little colour system here that determines if one is a sin or a virtue, this being seen in one's eye colour.

For example with myself, I have purple eyes! That means I am either a virtue of Hope or a sin of Envy... uh... in MY case it's the latter...

Here's a little chart to hopefully make things a bit easier!

My friend and I happen to make up many of these sins and virtues, actually thinking about it now, I think we have at least one of everything here! That's pretty neat to think about!

Uh... anyways, here's some basic descriptions of each of my friends! Uh... I'll maybe update this later if needed (or if my friends want to contribute themselves).

Personality: Stuck up, pretentious, vane, materialistic, snooty.

Likes: Social media, fashion, sewing, tea, victorian/medieval history.

Dislikes: Dirt and mud, insects, just anyone who happens to annoys her.

Rowan's notes: She's probably going to kill me when she see's my description of her... but uh... a-at least her new influencer career is going well!

Radiance - Sin of Wrath

Occupation: Prince

Personality: A little pompous, hot headed, easily annoyed, paranoid.

Dislikes: Complete solitude, dark rooms, anything that may set off his paranoia.

Occupation: Baker

Personality: Bubbly, energetic, generous and kind-hearted.

Likes: Sweet treats (both eating and making them), gardening, bird spotting.

Mari (Maria Nerezza) - Sin of Greed

Sexuality/Gender: Pansexual, she/her

Occupation: Con artist (sorry Mari, but it's true)

Personality: Mischievous, sneaky, a total prankster.

Likes: Money, cool shiny items, pranks, anything circus themed, alchemy and spells.

Dislikes: People using her full name, being called on her bluffs, anyone she deems a 'party pooper' or 'lame'.

Rowan's notes: His wolf form is kinda scary, but also kinda cute! He has very fluffy hair, I really gotta ask what product he uses for it.

Azaezel - Virtue of Faith

Occupation: N/A (I need to ask honestly...)

Personality: Optimistic, positive, determined.

Likes: Animals, bright colours, rain, thunderstorms.

Dislikes: Warm weather, tension/drama, sticky things.

“So how did you get your fake ID past the door gargoyle?” Eddie asked after taking a drag and blowing straight up into the air.

Steve threw back his head and laughed. “What gave me away?”

Yup. Jeff was never going to let him live this down. God damn it.

“For all your big talk,” he huffed, annoyed, “you don’t sound like someone who’s been around long enough to be the age on your ID.”

Steve shrugged. “I’ve had the same ID since I was sixteen. Both of them. I have a cousin Scott who was nineteen at the time and altered it for me.” He pulled out the fake ID and handed it to him.

Eddie squinted in the dark and realized that if he hadn’t been told it was a fake he wouldn’t have noticed a damn thing. But there slight smudges where there shouldn’t be that just tipped it over the edge into fake territory.

“Okay,” he groused, “that is a pretty good fake. But Monty is known for his eagle eye in spotting a fake, so what gives?”

Steve grinned as he took back the ID. “Scott is my cousin on my dad’s side and Monty’s my cousin on my mom’s side. He knows my parents are shit so he pays the owner under the table when I go out to drink here. Which I keep to a minimum for his sake, mainly I use it to buy beer in out of town gas stations.” He pulled out his real ID and handed it Eddie. “I’m young, but I’m not stupid.”

You arrive at the pub to be greeted by a dark haired guy, standing behind the bar chatting and laughing with patrons. It’s lively and warm inside and still, you feel unexpectedly nervous.

He smiled at you, before stepping closer, one eye covered by his long hair. “Are you here for the interview?”

“Yep.” You almost chocked on the words in your throat.

“Well our boss has already spoken to your dad and said we’ll give you a trial period.” “And that means?”

“It means you start today. We’ll train you for two weeks and then depending on your performance and your opinion, you can properly start working.”

“Yeah, still not understanding any of it.” He laughed, almost like it was the funniest thing he had ever heard. It twigged on your last nerve and you wondered if you could even quit this early on.

“Come on in, I'll introduce you to everyone.” he kicked the door of the bar open, before creating a grand gesture of welcoming you in.

The shift was somehow more fun than you thought it would be. You get to know most of the servers there and even learn their names.

They also seemed to all go to your school and all knew your brother which seemed like it would backfire massively. But as soon as you provided them with ammo, you were all besties. Or so you’d like to think.

As you stood in the kitchen, shining cutlery, Kaeya, the first guy you met, stood with you.

“Alright, pop quiz. If I ask for a larger top it is…”

“A pint of larger with a little bit of lemonade in the top.”

“Good, and a shandy?”

“Ale or larger, half filled with lemonade.” “Good!” He grinned, even clapping his hands a little.

You had learned to tolerate him and his teasing. Anyway, with older siblings, you were used to teasing. It was endearing in the most annoying way possible.

“[name]!” Called a person from the kitchen door. You turned to find Amber, another barmaid stood there with a burning grin. “There's a guy here for you. Said he was gonna meet you.”

And you completely forgot about that. For fuck sake.

You left the kitchen to find Heizou sitting at the bar with the hood of his jumper up and texting on his phone.

You felt unnaturally anxious as you stepped closer, like you’d swallowed a rock that now clogged up your throat. But it was too late to run away as his eyes shot to you and an overly confident smile met his lips.

“That uniform looks good on you.” Was the first thing he said.

“Gross. Can I have my id card?”

But strangely enough, part of you wished he would now, even when you hated when he did.

“No, I said that sounded like hell. Anyway, even if I wanted, neither of us could get served.”

But just as that sentence left your lips, Lisa— another barmaid —placed two pint glasses onto the bar.

“Here you go, cuties.” She grinned before stepping back to serve someone else.

“You were saying?” The tease in his voice made you want to make him wear that drink he nonchalantly took a sip of.

Instead a sigh left your lips as you threw yourself into the bar stool next to him.

“Fine but only one. My parents want me home.”

“Want me to walk you back?” His suggestion only made your heart more tense as you scoffed out a breath.

“Only if I get to push you in front of a car on the way.”

The smile was back on his face. It was a Cheshire Cat like grin that mocked you from its place on his lips.

“You can try.”

Working as a bar maid is quite a fun job, ngl. I have such a love hate relationship with my job. Being there until 1 am on some nights is definitely a hate. As well as not being able to close early when its dead since my boss doesn't want to upset the regulars. But i do like the regulars, their all so nice and one of them always calls me their grand daughter soooo.

If your wondering what's a larger and what's a ale, in layman's terms (My terms since idk what the difference in depth) larger is the carbonated bear such as Fosters or Heineken meanwhile Ale's aren't usually, such as Courage or Hobgoblin.

Winchester - (Supernatural / Smallville Crossover AU) - Chapter 11

For a while he’s just been looking at you.

You’re wondering if he’s trying to concoct some kind of lie or plan. 

“You’re still very beautiful (Y/N).” 

Your face twists in disgust. 

“Dude seriously! You’re wearing the face of my brother, are you really hitting on me right now!” 

You can’t believe this. 

He looks away. 

“I apologise.”

You just shrug it off. 

“Whatever, just spill.” 

He finally looks back at you. 

“You try to pretend, but I can see through you.”

“You don’t know me Michael.” 

“I know you, better than you know yourself.” 

You swallow, shifting. Right about now you’d like to push it all down. Staring at him, you can see those wings so clearly. Your abilities are a lot stronger than when he first met you, maybe that’s why everything he says seems to be a trigger for those months you spent together. 

That time.

“So I’m just wondering, how come you look human?” 

“This appearance is a copy of a human I saw on a screen.” 

He points to the television. 

“I believe the name was Nicholas Hoult.” 

Your eyes widened. 

“Oh shit, I knew this guy looked familiar, you copied a freaking celebrity, that’s awesome!” 

You’re laughing and he looks confused. 

“This is amusing to you?” 

“Of course, you’re walking around with an actor’s face, it's freaking hilarious.” 

You’re laughing again and he just watches. 

“My true form is hard for humans to perceive. You’re the first one who’s ever seen me.” Your laughter dies down, and this time you look at him. 

“So the glowing and those wings..”

“Yes.” 

You’re not sure how to feel about that. Even less now that you know you’re the only one who sees it. You mean to ask more questions, but the ringing of your cell phone catches your attention. The minute you see the caller ID, you press the end button. 

You wish Dean would just give up. You’ve gotten a few calls from Sam as well, so you can only guess that they’re travelling together again. 

“Damn hypocrite.” 

He gave a big self righteous speech about family staying together, but then he ran off. Now he’s probably kicking it with Dean and he wants you to just come back and act like a happy family. That’s laughable. 

“You’re upset.” 

“Wow, you don’t say.” 

You don’t mean to be snappy, it’s just not something you like to talk about. Then again, it’s not like you have anyone else to talk to. Dropping the phone on the dresser, you look at him. 

“It’s my brothers.” You explain. 

He looks thoughtful and you just reach for the remote. Maybe a crappy movie will distract you from your sucky life choices. 

“You don’t speak to your brothers?” 

“Nope, I left them to do my own thing. Our dad had this shitty plan and I wasn’t interested, so I tried to be normal, but that didn’t work either. So now I spend my time in busted hotels chasing after every evil son of a bitch so I can gank them. Yep, I’m living the life.” 

You’re still clicking through the channels. 

You’re a little annoyed, because it’s been months since you’ve had even a drop of alcohol. With your brothers at least you got a beer here and there. Unfortunately not many people are interested in selling beer to minors. 

“Curse you youth!”

The best you get is grape soda. 

“I understand how you feel.” 

“Yeah, sure you do wings.” You’re not paying much attention to him. 

“I have a brother too.” 

Maybe it’s the tone that causes you to look over. For a minute you almost forget who you’re talking to. If you remember right, his brother is quite literally the devil. 

“Oh shit…Sorry I-” 

“You don’t have to apologise.” 

He sounds agitated and before you can work up an apology, he’s gone.

“Good going (Y/N).” 

You drop back on the bed in defeat. 

For the next week you don’t really see him at all. You expect as much. Anyone would be pissed at your comments. 

The next time you do see him, he’s sitting in the room that you’ve just booked. You’re a bit relieved. Closing the door, you put your bag on the table. 

“I was starting to think you abandoned me.” You joke. 

Your hope was to ease the tension, but he’s never had much of a sense of humour. 

You deflate. 

“Listen Michael, I’m sorry. I was being insensitive. I was sitting there whining about my brothers when yours is literally the worst in every possible way.” 

You can’t imagine such a situation being easy for him, but you get it, dysfunctional family is your specialty. Moving to his side on the bed, you reach over a bit hesitant. When you place your hand over his. He doesn’t poof away again which is a relief. He finally looks at you, you’re happy he doesn’t look as upset as before. 

“I don’t think there’s really anything I can say to help you, but I do know how hard it is, especially with family.” 

Maybe you reach him, because he turns his hand over, taking your hand. The gesture actually makes you blush. His eyes now seem to be studying your face. 

“Your face is red, is something wrong?” 

He looks ready to heal any injury and you laugh bashfully.

“I-I’m fine, don't worry about it.” 

This time he lifts both his hands, cupping your cheeks and your eyes widen. It’s almost like he’s trying to understand what’s happening. 

“Is this normal occurrence for humans?” 

His face is way too close. 

“I…uh..um..” 

You’re babbling incoherently. 

He might actually give you a heart attack, that has to be his end goal.

TRANSFORMERS OC: I’m curious about the family dynamics of Overlord and his family. WonderNova is a daddy’s girl but what’s her relationship with her mother like? Moreover, what’s Overlord’s relationship with his wife like?

Why I am SO glad you asked ~ I'll started with BlightBrite first and then move down because i haven't talked about her at nauseum yet.

Overlord and Blight had a rocky start to the relationship upon meeting simply because as I like to say.

Overlord's relationship with Blight on the surface seems odd. No one thought Ovwrlord would even take a conjunx , or that someone would be brave enough to even be with him. Same goes with Blight.

His very dramatic, flamboyant, whimsical, emotional (to a degree) and theatrical. She is stoic, logical , matter of fact, cold (to a point) and poised. They are very much like a off key version of Gomez and Morticia. They both are very unapologetically themselves and they both appeicate that from each other.

Their dynamic is kinda like this. But he is an attention whore, he likes to show off and gloat. She doesn't give people attention, she doenst care about that stuff. OL likes a challenge to get her attention. He is simply like a big cat who flops on your laptop, he WILL not be ignored.

Example, this is how they flirt. 👇

BB:"You think your cute when you pout but you're not."

Ol:"Oh sweetspark you wound me~"

BB:"Please. Even if I wanted to I couldn't."

Yeah regular bots heard them talk like this and wonder if they acutal live each other. They do. They just quip back and forth like this. Annoying her is his love language and being snarky is hers. He probably the only person he'll listen to. So pray Blight likes you enough so he doesn't mess with you.

He is a dotting gift giving conjunx who thrive off of physical attention and verbal affirmation. But she makes him earn the last two and returns her love by just wanting to be in his presence and making new toys for him to make him happy. She keeps him focused and contained, he helps her live a little and give into some chaotic fun.

They are genuinely sweet to one another. OL has had to work alot on himself for Blight (which i could get into later) and Blight has had to do some searching herself.

ON TO WONDERNOVA 💫

Now Wonder is a daddy's girl this is true. Bjlut she does have a brilliant mind, much like her mother. She has a fascination with cosmos and planetary life. Blight has a fascination with Organic planets (to OL dismay) and that carried with WN and having prehaps to many pets because of it.

She and her mother have what id call a decent relationship. Blight knows she loves her father and wants to be like him. Strong and wild. She has never faulted her for it or been jealous. Just simply how she is. Blight is see as the "bad guy" somtimes for enforcing rules and boundaries with Wonder because frankly OL spoils her and let's her get away with alot. Blight steps in when OL feels he can't bare to see his darling Sparkling cry. (He gets better but it sucks for him) but Blight is stricter.

But Blight always is there for Wonder and will help her through whatever she is going through. Somtimes Woner just wants to sit and hug her mom. She does want to help her with things and Blight let's her, she's a fast learner and Bkight is very patient. She does let Wonder Learn, she does allow her to make mistakes. Blight just wants to always let Wonder know no matter how bad it is, she can come to her. They will figure it out. It's the very rare times Wonder acts quiet and softer is with her mother, being Blight is smaller but still wanting her affection.

hellooo! it’s 4 a.m in my country and i just have finished reading the last chapter of graveyards! i have a few questions if you feel okay to answer them (and my english is not perfect, hope i don’t make many mistakes)

i can see that vegas is very obsessed with pete. the way he sees pete as his equal and feels fascinated when pete fight backs is interesting. but where does vegas’s obsession come from? as far as i understand, they stayed in the safe house for a few days. how did he get SO obsessed with him to the point of going against his father for the first time in his life? can we say that he was in love with him when he did that?

i can see vegas’s obsession but i feel like pete is also obsessed with vegas, maybe not as much as vegas but he certainly can’t give up on him. why is that? where does his obsession and fixation on vegas come from?

did vegas and pete ever have an interaction before he kidnapped pete? or did you follow kp series’ plot for that? is it possible for vegas to actually have an interest for pete before all of these happened?

do you think there’s a limit for the things vegas would do for pete? i can see that he would do anything for him or to have him, but is there anything that he would not do no matter what?

what would vegas do if pete left him? after they got back together?

maybe it’s just me but vegas’ obsession towards pete is so magically fascinating and it made me obsessed too! i love these kind of plots a lot and yours is definitely the most interesting one! are you planning on writing vegas pete fictions in the near future? or do you have any recommendations to read (obsessed vegas plot)?

oh very good question! from memory they were in the safe house for a little over a week but yeah for a normal person that's nowhere near enough time to fall in love.

the way ive thought of it is that pete is the very first person to see all of vegas as he is, at his worst, at his ugliest, without flinching away or trying to kill him out of disgust or fear like so many other people have tried to do and that's where vegas' obsession stems from.

id say hes never once in his life felt seen before like this and so he's latched onto pete like a lifeline because pete makes him feel like more of himself without thinking that hes wrong or horrible or a failure. im not sure i would say that he was completely in love because obviously he was in a delusion about the situation but i do think it was a very obvious stepping stone to realising how vital pete was to him and how being around him makes him feel as opposed to say his father who constantly wants to squash him into the ground and make him smaller. by trying to kill pete his father set vegas even more against him than he meant to, because of course there was no way vegas was going to give up on the idea that someone could just accept him how he is and choose not to kill him. after pete did something like that, there was no way vegas would risk losing him.

pete is definitely to some extent hyperaware of vegas now but that stems from everything that happened between them and everything about himself that vegas has forced him to confront. pete knows vegas is inevitable but hes choosing how to accept that in a way that works for him. plus i think the second pete started to let himself care for him to actually be concerned for vegas' wellbeing was the moment he was gone. because thats such a innate part of him being a carer and once he pulled vegas into that small compartment of his where his grandmother, tankhun, chan and porsche already are there was no coming back.

nope they didnt really have any kind of meaningful interaction until vegas caught him. pete was trying too hard to stay under the radar and vegas didnt think he was all that interesting until he looked a bit closer

i honestly dont think vegas has a limit on what hed do for pete. not really. hes not very good with boundaries and he cares too much about pete to deny him anything. the real thing is whether or not pete would ask for something that would cross the line- but i dont really see him pushing beyond vegas' limits.

if pete left him and truly meant it i think vegas would be absolutely destroyed. it would take him a very long time to get over it or even to actually believe it. but if pete was serious i think he could back off. he would do it for pete, even if it was at his own expense and completely shattered him, he would put pete's needs above his own. even if that meant pete leaving him. but thats not likely to happen!

yeahhhhh i find it really fascinating too!! which is probably why i wrote a story this long delving into it hahahaha no i dont have anything else planned for the moment but that doesnt mean i wont. sorry im not good for recs i actually havent read all that much in the fandom tbh.

Hi! Thanks for the ask!

I always find these types of questions difficult to answer because I don't have a set list of characters ranked somewhere, especially if we're talking about all types of media, but I'm going to cheat a bit and look at my favorites from Mal. So, this will focus mostly on anime characters as that is the type of media I consume the most, with some others thrown in there as I remember. Not particularly in order:

1. ZURA. from Gintama

He's also the one from my profile icon. I love this guy. He's a fucking idiot. And he is absolutely hilarious he never fails to crack me up no matter what mood I'm in. I have a lot of characters from Gintama I love, but I tried to stick to just one from the entire series or they would take up all ten spots here, and from the entire cast, I have to give it to Zura. He's a terrorist, and comes up with the stupidest of plans, like flipping the toilet paper of his sworn enemy, LOL. He can go on and on about a story while he's driving a car and doesn't realize he is crashing in the meantime. And hence why he can't get a license (and the only reason he needs a license in the first place is so that he can get an ID to be able to rent DVDs of outdated dramas he thinks are trending [they're not]). I have to give praise to Sorachi, the mangaka. He must have been on crack while writing Zura scenes xD

2. Griffith from Berserk

Griffith. Beautiful Griffith.

Griffith gets a lot of hate and deservedly so, and there's a lot of Griffith apologists out there, but I love him. I fucking love him. He's such a well-written character. The best unreliable of narrators, though for most of the story we don't actually get into his head and only that of his archnemesis, his friend, the object of his dreams and desires, his ultimate source of failure, and success, later, I guess - Guts. So we only see how Guts sees him, and it's such a tragic story because the assumptions that Guts makes about him, the way he adores him and grows to hate him, they make sense, but to us as the viewers who know these two just loved each other so much to the point they threw away what they cared about the most - it's such a good story. I mourn for Miura and the story he never finished telling.

3. Joe from Ashita no Joe and Megalo box

Yabuki Joe.

This poor boy. I mention both Ashita no Joe and Megalo box because Megalo box was an anniversary special project based off of Ashita no Joe. Not another adaptation precisely, but more of a modern cyberpunk approach to the classic with more mature themes. I love both versions of Joe. In the older classic, you have this orphan boy that is happy roaming around doing nothing with his life, until he meets this drunk man that shoves boxing down his throat. It's your typical sports plot of stacking up win after win, until it isn't. The difference is in the characters, and their suffering, their growth. You learn to love Joe. He's an annoying little brat that wins your heart gradually, and towards the end, when it's over, you feel as though you've lost a friend.

In Megalo box, Joe is a bit older, and is dealing with things that are very real and that the og Joe would have also had to deal with, had things turned out differently. It's a great complement to the original. An AU of sorts.

4. The Fool from the Elderling series by Robin Hobb

The Fool. Beloved. Amber. They have many names and aliases, from Robin Hobbs' fantasy series The Elderlings.

Beloved is such an interesting character, not defined by any societal expectations and always confusing everyone with their words. We watch them grow throughout the series, from the king's creepy little jester that unsettles others, to an adult that is admittedly treated very harshly by the author (the story) but I still love to death. Here are some of my favorite quotes by the Fool:

"You are confusing plumbing and love again."

“As for what it means, how should I know? I’m a fool, not an interpreter of dreams. Good day.”

"Tomorrow owes you the sum of your yesterdays. No more than that. And no less."

“I have never been wise”

“Don’t do what you can’t undo, until you’ve considered what you can’t do once you’ve done it.”

5. Yang Wenli from LOTGH

Yang Wenli from the Legend of the galactic heros. A classic anime series and one of my favorites. Again, I struggled to only choose one character from the series, because I really love Reinhard as well- the other main character, but from the two I had to to with Yang Wenli.

LOTGH is a space war epic between two different states, the old galactic empire, and the newer, democratic planets alliance that broke free. Yang Wenli belongs to the latter. And while it may sound like the better choice-and he thinks so, as well-it's only the better choice from a theoretical standpoint. Because the one he's up against from the empire, Reinhard, is a wonderful leader. The kind that comes around only once in a century. Meanwhile the so called democracy is corrupt and ugly. Heading downhill while the empire is only getting better. And that's where the two collide. I love Yang Wenli for his idealism, his self awareness of his flaws, and those of others. He once says, 'if I was born in the empire I'd be flocking to join Reinhard's ranks'.

He's a realist, and a damn genius. And that's where the tragedy and irony strikes- because of the badly led and structured democracy he's in, he doesn't have full command of the army. He doesn't have any real power. All the corruption and red tape don't allow him to do much, to use his full potential, so he's always a step behind.

And yet. All he wants in life is to retire peacefully. He didn't even want to be a soldier, but he's dragged there by others, a bit of a pushover that he is. He's a tragic character really. Full of contradictions that he himself is aware of, and you can't help but love him for it.

6. Zhou Zishu from tian ya ke/word of honor

Zhou Zishu.

He is just. So. Relatable.

A burnt out man in his early 30s/late 20s who only wanted to live his last few years in peace. Essentially committed slow suicide to get the fuck out of his job because he couldn't take it anymore. We've all been there. Not that I'd take such drastic measures but. Who hasn't fantasized getting into an accident on their way to work to, you know, not go to work? Just me? OK. Moving on lol (according to reddit it's actually quite common. Sad that we live like this. Kudos to zishu for doing something about it).

The novel (tian ya ke) is quite different from the drama (word of honor), where the gif is from. The characterization is also a bit different, and I have to say I prefer novel! Zishu over drama! Zishu. He's more free, more shameless, learns to live without shackles and is not your typical protagonist. In fact, he's no protagonist at all. He's really just a side character, despite being the narrator of the story. Like many of us. But the man learns to be happy. Learns to fly free.

7. Wen Kexing from tian ya ke/word of honor

I broke my own rule about one character per series because there is no way I can have A'Xu (Zhou Zishu from above) listed anywhere without his Lao Wen. They come as a package anywhere they go. Anywhere. So here is my favorite malewife Wen Kexing. A beautiful, eerie man that looks more like a ghost. Knows how to cook. Knows how to clean. Knows how to split your throat in half with his bare fingertips.

He's terrifying. The king of all "ghosts"- the most brutal criminals. He's also someone that learns how to lower his defenses for the first time in his life. How to be a little bit selfless for once. To care for another. He's the one that teaches Zishu how to he shameless. He's fucking hilarious, a flirt, an unashamedly gay man that takes pride in all the men he's fucked and yet will cry crocodile tears to Zishu to let him get it on, and then he'll thank his dead sister for it later. I love these idiots. They're perfect for each other.

Also prefer the novel version of Wen Kexing, but the drama has a perfect cast and beautiful robes. I've got two replicas of them!

8. Nodame from Nodame Cantabile

Idiotic Nodame. Love this girl. She's hilarious and silly and isn't embarrassed to go after what she wants, even if she makes a fool of herself.

She's an aspiring pianist. A piano student to be precise, on the older side compared to her peers. But she's really great at it. Not in the traditional way, because she does things in her own way-- she's with the teacher designated for the worst students and spends an entire semester (or years? It's been a bit, I don't remember) composing a song about farts LOL.

She's a really likeable character, and what I really love about her is her stubbornness and grit to stick to what she wants. It's not something easy to do, and oftentimes we have to make decisions against our own wishes, especially when it comes to our careers. Nodame tries, but all she wants is to be a kindergarten piano teacher, but everyone tells her she shouldn't do that. In the end, her choices are hers and hers only.

9. Balsa from Moribito

I recently finished this anime and fell in love with the MC, Balsa.

It's not often we see strong female leads in anime, that are not only well written but stand on their own without relying on romance or other characters. She's an incredibly strong woman, both physically and emotionally. The series focuses on her growth and her bond with the little burden she's tasked to care for.

She is a little selfish, perhaps a bit too cold. Plain looking, and very much an adult at 30. And she looks like it! Not something you see often in anime. She's a great fighter, and through her journey with this child that she has to care for, she learns of a different kind of strength. And yet, towards the end, she's still the same lone woman we meet at the beginning. Someone simply just... living.

10. Renge from Non Non Biyorin

Little Renge. I adore her. She's adorable and so, so funny.

From Non Non Biyorin, which I also love to bits because I grew up in the country and the country life humor just sends me.

She's a 6 yo child that is smarter than the 8th graders, and always so serious about everything she does, even the cold corner store owner has a soft spot for her. She's like a cat. Really cute, really funny, and really mean, even unintentionally.

Ugh. I miss this show. I wish we had more seasons!

least fav thing about them: i mean . the ableism . thats kind of a copout answer though so instead of smt basic like "i dont like that he avoided sydney" or whateva ill say that i think he shouldnt have gotten together with sydney as soon as he did that fucker needs SOOO much healing first . but i think thatll be explored given that they have a couples therapist in s2 so thats not like a writing flaw i dont think unless its fumbled which i doubt it will be

man i really thought the dynamic of the three leads in oasis would be somewhat similar to the three leads in chicago typewriter or my country. well at least that's what the first few eps seemed to be going for

but it became just one of those many annoying kdrama love triangles bcs of the 2nd lead. idek where the plot is going atp

i still like the drama tho. cuz im a sucker for angst no matter how frustrating it gets. and i dont rlly mind where the plot goes. i just wish the three leads maintained their unbreakable bond no matter how complicated their circumstances turn out

the way he is so ready to throw away his lifelong brotherhood with doohak for his highschool crush who he knew for a few yrs and who never even led him on to make him think he has any chance with her

the doohak who he called his hyung his entire life. the doohak who did everything he told him to until highschool. the doohak who would fight his fights. the doohak who /involuntarily/ went to prison for a crime HE COMMITTED just bcs he begged him to tho he knew it would ruin doohaks life. like id be so ashamed to even show up in front of him. if he asks for something, id do it right away without considering it as a payment for my debt cuz nothing could make up for what doohak had to go through bcs of me

not to mention doohak also singlehandedly saved him (again... for the nth time) against that group of college students without any help from anyone

he couldnt even make up his mind if he wishes to save or betray doohak like how he remained neutral with the student activists vs gov thing in his college days. like if ure gonna be the bad guy, just be the bad guy and let me hate u entirely

like u can tell he still cares for doohak (reason why i thought theyd have this unbreakable brotherhood even when they act like enemies in front of eo but theyd come running to save eo when needed to cuz they know deep down they love eo like the male leads in the 2 dramas i mentioned above) but i guess he doesnt care for him enough to let him be happy after all those years of suffering (which he caused)

doohaks friendship with his gang members is even more precious than theirs. like i would trust any of the gang members with doohaks life but not cheolwoong

also the lack of self awareness??? he always brings up doohaks flaws when hes actually way worse

anyway i hope the writers dont give him redemption arc just for the sake of giving everyone a good ending. i want him miserable and i want to hate him until the end. when he finds out the truth abt his birth, i want him IN SEVERE PAIN. i want him to be so ashamed to even go near doohak. on top of that, i want jungshin cutting him off her life for good and giving him the same disgusted face she gave doohak when she found out hes part of a gang. I WANT HIM SUFFERING

and give doohak and jungshin their happy ending ffs! they literally just want a peaceful life together without all these makjang drama. theyve been through soooo much since they were young and until now. enough is enough
