i have so many headcanons about Ben’s dragoon troop that i keep catching myself forgetting they aren’t actually canon and the amount of Feelings i have about them is completely unreasonable.

#there's one guy called Lemuel Cook who was irl in the 2nd Continental Light #and like there's no documentation i've been able to find saying he was actually in /Tallmadge's/ troop #let alone the roughly ... 16 or so? that made up the actual ''Tallmadge's Troop''- that is his special observational corps #BUT there were some incidents that irl Cook talked about in which Tallmadge was present so #i just kinda like to headcanon LemCook as one of Tallboy's Dragoons #and everybody else is an OC #OCs im Emotional about #theyre a liddle fambly omg im love them
