#xue yang#theuntameddaily#mxtxnet#the untamed#mo dao zu shi#cql#mdzs#yi city#*my gifs#okay first. :(((((((((#but dead xy. because at this point in his life death was really the only way for him to move on#there's genuinely nothing left for him but clinging onto the false hope that xxc would somehow come back#which. xxc won't come back. so xy's stuck in an endless cycle of misery trying and failing to resurrect xxc over and over#and he drags the rest of the yi city crew in along with him#there's absolutely nothing that could get xy to let go of xxc (and by proxy sl and aq) but death#which. even then there's a possibility of him becoming a ghost but that's a whole other thing#xxc's death is what initiated xy's spiral of misery while xy's death is what lets them all (including xy) be free from it#and as much as i hate it i think xy's death is what's best for all of them :(#but also how about neither?? how about xy and xxc alive and happy and no one dies or is sad ever#but also also the way he struggles to look at the candy and the soft smile as he dies aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh#i have no coherent thoughts left only amorphous yi city feelings
