okay, so, in no particular order:

Give Up the Ghost

the fic that allowed me to get my bearings with these two characters. also, my first ever fic for them and in the Star Wars realm in general. i just think it's neat and it allowed me to meet some wonderful, wonderful people <3

Four Days on the 63rd Parallel

this was my first MSR fic in ages and i had to kind of... dig deep into my own personal style and intellect for it. writing MSR is tough because these two characters are so fucking smart and taciturn (at least when it comes to things like FEELINGS) so this was a challenge, but i can say that i'm pretty proud of it!

Thumbprint Scar

i can't say much else than this fic has a very special place in my heart. i will always love it dearly and i am proud of what i was able to do with it.

The Symptom of Time

i love her, your honor. one of the more ambitious things i've ever done-- soulmark!fic with a dash of esoteric nonsense and vignette/non-linear timeline abuse. i am attempting to do a similar fic with rebelcaptain. i'm pretty proud of it.

Hounded

this isn't my favorite fic that i wrote for max/furiousa (that might be The Love The You Lent Me), but it's the first, and that's significant because, before then, I hadn't written much of anything in nearly five years. so, for that, it deserves a space on here. without it, who knows where i'd be or what i'd be doing, but i know my life would not be nearly as much fun or colorful as it is now.

a year in fics - 2019

I saw some people doing overviews of their fics during 2019 and I thought it would be fun to do as well so here I am, compiling all the fics I’ve written this past year:

perseverance: He misses the dark. He misses the time he could fight back. (2/3) Written for the Cassian Andor prompathon, Cassian-centric, lightly Rebelcaptain.

if we only die once, i wanna die with you: After Jyn is injured on a mission, they have a discussion about her decision to risk her life for Cassian. (1/1) Written for the “mirror” prompt during Rebelcaptain week.

carry on my wayward son: Jyn and Bodhi are investigating the disappearance of a drama teacher when they accidentally stumble upon a school play based on their lives. And the writer of the play has some very specific ideas about the nature of her relationship with Cassian. A Supernatural AU. (1/1)

we all need someone to stay: “You followed me here,” Cassian accuses her, arms crossed in a way that lets her know he means business.“That’s not true. Why would I do that when I know you have a date?” She wipes away noodle from her chest, putting on a show of ignorance. OR, Jyn is bad at feelings and Leia is bad at advice. (1/1) Modern AU.

hold me like i’m more than just a friend: Cassian knew it was a bad idea. He’d seen enough movies to know things like this never turned out well: someone always got hurt. He just didn’t expect it to be him. OR, Cassian makes bad choices and it ends with him getting a broken nose and a girlfriend. (1/1) Modern AU.

imaginary homelands: You used to love me, she thinks. Are we just strangers now? Two years after Jyn and Cassian separated, a chance encounter brings them back to each other again. Confronted with what she lost, Jyn wonders if it's too late to make it right. (4/4) Written for the May 4th Rebelcaptain Exchange.

corellian rum: Jyn has a plan. Only it doesn’t go like she’d hoped and she’s forced to reevaluate the year she spent with Cassian undercover as a married couple, wondering how much of it was real and how much of it was an act - or if it was all an act? (1/ 2) Written for the Rebelcaptain Secret Santa.
