Have yo ever thought about making Underfell MH and if you did what wold it be like?

I’ve answered something similar before but I don’t mind talking about it again :>

I haven’t ruled out the possibility of Underfell MH, since Underswap MH started out as just some scattered headcanons I never imagined would be worth giving a name to, and that’s basically where my Underfell ideas are currently at, but for now I don’t plan on making my own version of Underfell. I love Underfell but I don’t have nearly as much creative passion for it - I like wholesome fluff over angst and darker tones, and with Canonfell alive and kicking I don’t feel as much need to fix my issues with fanon content.

but if it were to become an official project of mine, my general preferences and ideas for it are:

the tone keeps more of the spirit of the original Undertale universe - it’s still a darker AU, but with more goofy and wholesome moments rather than All Angst All The Time like a lot of fanon interpretations.

most monsters are still capable of being good deep down, but you have to dig through everyone’s edgy attitudes and tragic backstories to find the kindness.

Frisk is more afraid during every encounter at first, but grows braver throughout their journey and in post-pacifist basically ends up being a 7 year old life coach to all of monsterkind. if their gentle lessons in being kind to others don’t work they will break out the sass

Chara was genuinely loved by the Dreemurrs and continues to love them back, and seeing what their family has become since their death is pretty distressing for them. also they turn into a hissing gremlin over chocolate

Toriel’s disgust for monsterkind’s eagerness to kill humans twisted her personality over time, eventually making her rather frightening even to the fallen humans she strives to protect, but at heart she’s much lonelier than she wants anyone to know.

Sans and Papyrus are not abusive to each other; they’re definitely harsher and bicker more often, but they still love each other as family no matter what.

Canonfell mentioned that Alphys and Undyne are already dating and I am absolutely keeping that. precious villainous girlfriends <3

I respect what Canonfell Asgore is going for but he doesn’t really feel like Asgore to me? an idea I had semi-recently is that since the loss of his children he’s tried desperately to stamp out his kinder side, as he figures he’s got nothing left to lose and might as well be exactly the person Toriel was so horrified by, but deep down he’s still just a soft-hearted dad who misses his family.

I’m still trying to develop ideas for characters besides Toriel, Sans, Papyrus and Frisk but it’s pretty slow going, so hopefully I’ll figure the others out eventually :D;; in the meantime I’m happy just drawing Underfell whenever I feel like it; time will tell if I get the inspiration to do more with it.
