okay okay alright one minute— i fucking hate the emerging Cool Cat Culture. There, i said it. I hate people who debate whether they should tell their friend that her sweater is lovely, i hate the "wait 1 hour before messaging back" battle strategies, i hate the way people have came to think that faking an emotionless disinterested "bitch face" is sexy and if you're expressive then you're easy, i hate the "makeup that makes you look meaner" trends, i hate the way common culture has slowly shifted to hailing emotional constipation and being unresponsive and detached and apathetic and lukewarm as "cool and attractive and desirable". I have a cosmos sized disdain for nonchalance and this whole culture around performative apathy; cool cats are dead to me, i want to be around warm and loving and expressive and vivacious people, alive people, people who have courage to be deeply affected by what they love and let it kill them, people who dare to feel life and show it. It's sexy to tell your loved ones that you love them, it's sexy to laugh unapologetically and freely, it's sexy to be expressive and loud.
