⏩for Wo

Far into the future, there'll come a point where Wo outlives his family. They're still mortals(despite two of them having the ability to live longer due to their 'legendary' status). Spot and Pink would be first, then Ogerpon, followed by Oki. Oki would most likely perish after he couldn't handle having the poison lingering from the chains in his system any longer.

All of those events would hit Wo quite hard, with Oki's being the one that would make him go quiet and stay that way. Wo would still be able to make sounds in response to things like questions and other things that get said to him, but he won't be able to bring himself to talk. Instead, when he needs to communicate, Wo would use a version of sign language that would be like ASL, but easier for him to show with his vines.

It'd be a world where little is left of humanity too. The places which Wo(and Pao) would travel through would be turning into towns that resemble those seen in Mystery Dungeon, only in a more post-apocalyptic, Life After People and Mad Max-like setting. Pokemon residing there would not accept them at first, but they'd learn to do so over time as they learn more about the wandering Ruins.

Eventually, Wo and Pao would be accepted into an explorers guild and go on missions into unknown places in search of treasure and hidden places. Wo would still be very quiet, and quite serious too. When on missions, Wo would be behind Pao as they explore, but he would stick to what the objective is and refuse to deviate from it. Pao would get distracted, but then he'd see Wo's annoyed expression and quickly get back on track.

When not on missions, Wo and Pao would curl up around each other as they rest. The leopard would tell Wo stories that he would make up on the spot, an action that would help to calm the snail and ensure that he slept without trouble. Wo would appreciate how Pao had learned how to tell stories in that way too, and would do the same for him using his own version of sign language to tell them to him.

Over time, as they continue to spend time together in a future where they roam endlessly, Wo and Pao would get to become quite close too. Wo wouldn't make the relationship turn into the one he would've had with Oki, but it'd get close to being like it.
