#good morning! here's something elegant and oddly mesmerizing#i know very little about the pottery glazing process i admit so this was fascinating to see))#have you ever seen herons in real life? i did only once when i was doing postgrad with the geese and ducks 😆#(i wonder what all those goosebabies are doing now.....)#one morning i got up around 4am and made the walk to the library for an early morning booked slot#this was around may so it was very bright outside despite the early hour#and i saw a heron skating across the water and settling on a fence railing only meters from me#it was smaller than i thought up close but still a pretty damned large bird#and its dangerous beak! i stayed well back 😅#there were probably many herons on that campus what with the large lakes around but that's the only time i saw one#just a nice little memory))#please have a good day today! 💖💖💖💖💖#heron#birds#cute#aesthetic
