Concept: A Stranger Things 2 AU where everything's exactly the same except it's not completely ignoring Dustin and Lucas's importance to Will
#like forreal tho this bugs me so much#legit out of the whole season#the only time will mentions them#is when he's complaining about them to jonathan#it's like dustin and lucas didn't even MATTER to will at all in s2#they weren't even in the shed when the other characters were sharing all the emotional memories to will#it's honestly bs#i think for most of the season it MADE SENSE why the party was all split up and all that shit#but like it just got to a point where it was ridiculous and excessive#the heart of season one was the friendship between the boys#and season two just did them dirty#like if there was just a single acknowledgement in the slightest all season of dustin and lucas caring about will i'd be fine#but no#they were deadass completely ignored#there was what? the part in ep1 where lucas is telling mike not to worry about will cause he's always quiet#or the part where will is complaining how dustin and lucas don't understand him#we got like a SECOND of will and lucas hugging in ep2#and that was deadass the only positive interaction all season#other than that s2 was acting like dustin and lucas meant absolutely nothing to will#and it's honestly my only real problem with the season#like i understand why things were like that to a point#but it just got so ridiculous and excessive#and it just did their friendship so dirty#and i hate it
