i made such a tasty stew for tea it was genuinely surprisingly good i cant wait to have the leftovers tomorrow
#chopped an onion and let it fry on a low heat in a lot of olive oil#then removed the skin from three sausages chopped them into rough slices then added them to the pan#chopped a big chorizo sausage into slices then added it#chopped 1.5 leeks (0.5 was off slightly but the rest was fine) into chunks then bunged that into the pot#then chopped 12ish baby potatoes into 1/2 and 1/4 depending on size and added them to the pan#then added a chicken stock thing and ~1.2 litres of boiling water and a lot of salt#brought it to a simmer for 15-20mins (until the potatoes were easy to stab with a fork)#it was really watery but sooooooo flavourful#and i used garlic bread (bagette type) to mop up the soupy stuff and oh my god it was so good#so filling as well i could only manage one bowl </3#but that means theres more for me tomorrow :p#and now its raining and thunderstorming outside and im drinking red wine and watching endeavour so having a great time
