what is the Todd family up to in the regular timeline anyway? are Nex and Nathan in that one? (cause I suppose Nathan wouldn't exactly be talking about that to his parents lmao)
omg, thought
if Nathan was just happily living with Nex, unbothered by the parents and pretty much trauma free... if Darrell found out, would he feel some degree of resentment? because. like. that's all he would've wanted. but due to his parents he ended up with the military and now has the trauma from a) war and b) ...y'know. and just
oh no I made myself feel feels
Ngl you made me really think about this one. 🤣🤓 Because in the canon Salome-is-Darrell's-final-girl plotline, she runs away from home with her parents still very much alive. But in the canon Nex x Nathan headcanons @probably-a-plant-thing and I exchange, their parents are out of the picture (dead). So, in a way, the Todd siblings are free to go and chase their dreams and find happiness.
Maybe Salome and Susannah have gone to become artists. Salome with her visual art and Susannah as a clothes designer, which predominantly showcase embroidery. 💕 I can't see Nathan doing anything but farmwork and he's very content being that way. He might have expanded the farm, possibly incorporated tech that would make his work easier. Judah would still live with him, but he would at times go with Susannah and travel. He's still quite drawn to home. Maybe he'd take over the pastorship, or pursue a degree.
You've also given me feels because I imagine that Nathan and Darrell would reunite in this instance (seeing how Darrell knew Trent and Trent now works with Nex).
Nathan would take him to a little fenced-in plot behind the house, under a large Magnolia tree. There is a headstone, unembellished, bearing the name "Erasmus - Father, preacher" and under it, "Arabella - Mother and wife".
"Died in his sleep." Nathan would say, pointing to their father's name. Then, to his mother. "Had a stroke not long after."
"And that's it?" Darrell would ask, disappointed but mostly angry. After all the violence they had caused - against their own flesh and blood - what right had they to die in such ordinary, non-violent ways?
"For the best, I s'ppose," Nex would remark. "If they hadn't up and gone, I would have done em in myself."
I don't really think he'd resent any of his siblings. Darrell loves them so much - in any AU. He didn't deserve what his parents and the world put him through, but he doesn't think anybody else should have taken his place. 🥺💙
#they all still have issues tho#their parents left such a blot on all of them that they're all pretty much damaged goods#so much insecurity and fear and doubt#i could like sit here and make an analysis on every one of them but then i'd be here forever#🤣#cylas my beloved#darrell todd#slasher oc#nathan todd#nex grant#trent#the dragonfly branch#susannah todd#judah todd#salome todd#todd siblings

Introducing: Jay!! My ducktales oc!! (If it wasn't blatantly obvious lmao)
Do you want to know more about them? No? Too bad!
Jay, aka January was the first ever clone F.O.W.L. created. However, due to a lab accident, Jay ended up not only with scrooge's DNA, but also Bradford's. Deeming the clone a "failure", Heron drops the created baby off at an orphanage.
(Bradford becomes enraged when he later learns of this - a child with his and scrooge mcduck's dna?? Just out there??? Has Heron no concept how problematic that could shake out to be???)
Jay spends the first 9 years of their life kinda bouncing from foster home to foster home (kinda developing a bit of a thing abt people seeing them eat. Because of how their beak is a bit weirdly aligned, they can't eat quite the same as most others, and people stare.). But eventually they scrape together enough resources for like, one of those online-dna testing kits that spit out who you're related to.
Turns out their parents are Scrooge McDuck!!! (And some random vulture guy? Weird)
Thus, Jay sets out to become an adventurer like their dad, to meet him one day on their adventures!
Except, first adventure they immediately get trapped in a parallel, kind of very hellish dimension. They get out after three years, but they're pretty traumatized - and pretty much pu off of adventuring forever.
(Though they do find and keep a magic amulet in [hell dimension] that they use to cast spells. Mostly teleportation spells, really.)
Deciding they don't really want to meet a guy who's whole schtick is adventuring, they instead begin their search for dad#2, that vulture guy.
They find out he works for scrooge mcdad (of course he does) but don't judge him too harshly yet. From what they can find online (public libraries for the win!) the guy doesn't really... Do anything. Let alone go on adventures.
So Jay decides to find out where he lives and well, just kinda shows up at his door.
Much surprise is had, it's not quite the family reunion Jay was hoping for but they haven't been kicked out so they count it as a win.
Staying with their dad is pretty great, actually. He even hires a private tutor for homeschooling, since Jay missed 3 years of school and has a lot of catching up to do.
(they definitely hoard food in their room somewhere, just in case. They also have a bug-out bag ready at any given time. Just in case.)
Turns out, Dadford doesn't only also hate adventuring with a passion - he has a whole secret organization to take over the world and stop all adventuring! Forever!
(Jay found a secret stash of files on the computer they use for video games.)
Thus, at the ripe age of 13 they become the youngest FOWL agent ever!
And because they are kind of a big security risk now that they know, they get moved out to live in the outpost at the library of Alexandria instead, together with a bunch of the villains Dadford recruited.
(including Phantom Blot who Jay has an ongoing rivalry with just because they use magic sometimes lol)
(they and the villains play mario kart/party together on sundays)
Eventually, (three years later) season 1 happens and seeing the mcduck family successfully overcome the rift that della's absence left, dadford decides to put one of his better pawns into play.
Through some posturing, magic pyrotechnics and a fake mystical artefact, Jay gets planted into the mcduck family as scrooge's "magic child/clone".
(this happens during the episode "The Depths of Cousin Fethry", while huey and dewey are out meeting their cousin, scrooge, louie and webby go to find an invaluable treasure and return with Jay. Cue scrooge introducing Jay as his kid and Huey and Dewey going "wtf did we miss")
They go along on an adventure or two, mainly because saying "I hate adventuring and I don't want to do it because I was traumatized and hate it" doesn't make sense for someone who was just created from an ancient magic artefact. But after a couple adventures they can finally just put their foot down and stay home. It's chill.
They draw sometimes, do a few commissions.
Scrooge wants to bond with them so they teach him how to play video games and they watch some shows together.
Eventually, the last adventure rolls around.
At the point where Webby pretends to be June and kidnaps... Herself (yknow what part i mean. Probably) Jay comes with the clones, obviously shocking Webby.
But they make it to the library without any particular incident - except Huey getting discovered, obviously.
Jay stays behind to "escort June and Webby". They've very much realized the switcheroo that Webby pulled and use their (thus far mostly benign) magic to switcheroo back.
They nod to June, explaining that they didn't say anything earlier so that Director Dad doesn't get on her case too bad about "failing".
After that, Jay kinda just goes off to hang out a bit. Drink some pep. Chill.
On the way to Webby's cell, she wakes up and takes out June. (Because of course she does. She's Webby.)
Cue the rest of the finale.
Right up until Dadford is fighting McDuck and his fam. Because now, he calls Jay forward, who kinda immobilizes the fam with their magic for a bit.
Dadford throws his employees into the death pit, but oh shock! He picks up to throw Jay in as well.
And he does. He does throw them in.
Luckily, Jay is a master at magical teleportation and nobody realizes they weren't, in fact, erased from existence.
Bla bla bla, scrooge signs the papyrus, "family is the greatest adventure of all", boom the other vilalins show up to defeat dadford once and for all.
But what's this? It's Jay, with a magical barrier, protecting her dad from being turned into a non-sentient vulture!
They teleport themself and Dadford outta there.
At this point they're assuming they got thrown in the pit as a sort of surprise/back up, to make everyone think FOWL was already defeated when they were still there and alive. Yknow, a backup plan.
They live on the street for a bit, but Jay manages to get a job, securing the two of them an aprtment.
Dadford doesn't rlly come out of his room for a while.
Jay gets it; having ur thirty year-long plan derailed like that couldn't be, yknow, pleasant.
At some point, Louie finds them at their job and basically blackmails them into helping him out during adventures. (They kinda hide in his shadow, basically/louie summons them, so when something particularly dangerous happens they can subtly magic it away.)
Dadford eventually emerges from his room and drops the bombshell we all already knew: he very much did intend to kill Jay that day.
Jay is kinda shellshocked. They sort of robotically just return to their routine; go to work.
Louie summons them to deal with an adventure again, and wouldn't u know it? Its an adventure in that hell dimension that Jay got stuck in as a kid.
This, coupled with the revelation that one of their dads tried to kill them, kinda makes them very uncareful. They get revealed to the rest of the family but manage to get everyone out of there.
They reveal that Louie's been blackmailing them and the fact dadford tried to actually kill them sorta spills out in the same, emotionally charged rant and to their surprise scrooge offers to allow them back in the mansion, despite everything.
Jay hesitantly accepts, but mentions that they would like to keep working their current job. This is agreeable to everyone.
Jay returns to their apartment later, under the cover of "going to work" and find dadford packing his things.
They're like, what r u doing? Where would u even go?
And he's like, idk, i'll dip into my grandma's account or smth, its not like u want me here anymore, what with the attempted murder.
And Jay's like, I didn't say that.
Stunned silence.
So anyway, Jay sighs and tells dadford he's allowed to stay at the apartment and that Jay will stay at the manor again.
This is how far ive gotten. If u have any ideas/thoughts/complaints, drop 'em somewhere i can see 'em!
If anyone's even read this far lol.
If u have, have a virtual cookie, you've earned it🍪

Some selkie au asks
Did yasopp ever give kid luffy rides in the ocean?
Dose crocodile do that villan thing were he sits on a chair petting a animal (buggy in seal form)
Harp seals Harp seals are named for the curved, black patch on their backs, which resembles a harp. Dose yassop and Eurydice have harp birth marks on there backs? (There both harp seals)
What is Eurydice full moon form like?
What would happen if
The red hair pirates meet that creepy marine obsessed with yasopp again?
The star hats meet the creepy marine
Eurydice meets the creepy marine
Dose law have any selkies on his crew? (I think he should. (Ether the random woman, penguin, or shachi)
Once, on Luffy's birthday because Yasopp doesn't like thinking of birthday presents
One time Crocodile wanted to meet with a few old business partners, he needed to hear what they really wanted from him, so he dressed in one of his best suits, an entire box of good cigars and played the role of the big shot that just made success and was getting stupid with it. Buggy helped with the act - a trained seal to trail behind Crocodile with a fancy diamond-studded collar? That was a red flashing sign of financial stupidity. Anyone that knew him wouldn't believe it, but anyone that knew him wouldn't believe any part of the act. He was chatting with his old cohorts and acted drunk enough to get stupid, went away saying he was gonna chat up the bartender, and Buggy was left in his booth. Both his old accomplices, annoyed and a little drunk, started raving about how they couldn't wait to kill that fucker, make it look like Mihawk, and redirect everyone working for the cross guild to their own (much less successful) "business". Buggy only agreed because he was promised he didn't have to leave his seal form, luckily Crocodile decided to kill all three that same night and even if it was suspected the seal was a selkie, selkies aren't ever thought to have uses and the suspicion died with them
YEEEP!!!!! The spots don't really look like harps though, they're both ink blots so I'm pretty sure they look like my parents arguing-- lol no.
Eurydice gets about 7x bigger, a little bigger than Usopp
If they meet him again it's On Sight, having someone with that kind of devilfruit after them is Dangerous and they've killed people for less
If the strawhats meet Scummy anytime it's probably be a little after Punk Hazard because Smokers' and his crew are in contact. He tries to negotiate for The Selkie, but The Selkie has a Cannon so negotiations break down pretty quick, his ship gets sunk and he dies :) not really but wouldn't that be nice?
Before that village outed Yasopp as a selkie, Scummy didn't tell a soul what Yasopp was because Scummy wanted him to himself and telling means handing Yasopp over to the dragons. After, Scummy started raving to anyone he talked to for more than a few minutes about what he wanted to do to Yasopp and Maybe his son too. This includes Coby. Scummy and him were talking in his office, Coby taking it seriously, Scummy confident he could take this kid even if he outranks him so talking about whatever he wanted. Scummy started raving about how he'd kill a dragon if he could get his hands on Yasopp, started saying enough to live up to his nickname tenfold. Eurydice had requested to stand in as backup, because she wanted to gain some Intel. She didn't expect that, she lost her temper for a second, but Coby noticed. The second she took a step toward Scummy Coby was already out of his seat and punched Scummy in the mouth so hard he hit the wall. Coby got questioned, said it was a reprimandory action for conspiring treason, Eurydice's name was left out of the books.

Witch AU- Metropolitan Students (First Years)
With the help of Gaiaonline (and the users' extensive guides), I have been able to create representations for the cast for this au. So I'm gonna start with our main kids, giving a little info under each one.
Before we get started, a little info:
An Ultoma is the magical mark that appears when a witch users their powers. Remember the au is mostly based off of Kousuke Satake's The Witch and the Beast. It is a great manga y'all should check out
Warlock is just a witch who betrays witchkind
While they still have to fight monsters (who want to eat their souls for their magic), more often than not, The Magic Association won't send kids on too dangerous missions unless they're either really strong (like Yuuta or Maki) or incredibly specialized for a certain case. So usually they're doing less flashy things like helping people open enchanted locks or solving some magical mishap
(This doesn't mean that they aren't getting into dangerous adventures, no that still happens a lot bc they all have a knack for rocking the boat and getting themselves in trouble, only that the higher ups are way more strict about who does what within the Association)
If you read through the fics and see that some of the descriptions don't exactly match up with the images, it's because Gaiaonline can only do so much
You can read what I have so far here: https://archiveofourown.org/series/2134044
First Years
Yuji Itadori
Ultoma: None, but Sukuna's ultoma (the marking on his skin) appears when Sukuna is in control. Instead, Yuji has a curse mark (representing the 20 seals in his body), which are the marks under his eyes.
Our main character everyone! He isn't truly a "witch" in this au, but a "vessel", something created for the soul (lol) purpose of containing something dangerous. In this case, he contains the soul of the Warlock of Malevolence, The Double-Faced Sukuna. Since Sukuna is so dangerous, 20 seals were placed in Yuji's body as a backup in case Yuji himself wasn't enough (which he sometimes isn't), but Yuji broke the first trying to save Megumi and things just get more chaotic from there.
He was allowed to attend a Witch Workshop (their equivalent of school), if he could help the Association track down the warlock who has possessed the body of one of the Associations 4 Great Witches (like basically the best performing/crazy powerful).
Megumi Fushiguro
Ultoma: An wheel with eight handles (like what's on the Mahoraga's back) that's on his forehead.
The Shadow Witch on the run from his Zen'in heritage! In this au, witches inherit the memories (and sometimes personalities and preferences) of their predecessors, which is why they all master magic pretty quickly. It's also why most clan witches are all pretty similar and devoted towards carrying on the wishes of the very first witch of each clan, which those resembling them the most being made the clan head and forced to carry on the burden.
In the Zen'ins case, it's to keep the Beast Demon Mahoraga sealed within the Shadow Witch's heart for all eternity. They were in a tight spot before Megumi was born bc no one else had the correct power to perfectly maintain the seal.
But Megumi kind of isn't interested in accepting his Zen'in heritage or becoming the head. He's only maintaining the seal bc he knows the world will get a lot worse if he doesn't. And also he spends like 3 days a year with the Zen'ins bc that same demon they are bound to seal also makes them transform into werewolves.
It's Gojo decision to send Megumi to save Yuji from the Association's witch hunters that gets this au started.
Nobara Kugisaki
Ultoma: A trail of roses going from her head to her arm.
The one and only Nobara Kugisaki! I originally wanted to make her the Rose Witch, but then remembered that her power has nothing to do with roses, so she's the Resonance Witch.
In this au, she grew up in the country side, which is way more superstitious and less knowledgeable of magic then those living in the city. So she and her grandmother had to be very careful with the use of any magic.
But eventually Nobara met an older girl named Saori, who unfortunately had to leave after nearly becoming a victim of a with hunt. After Saori left, Nobara made a decision that she won't remain stuck in the village that her family has remained in for centuries.
She came to the city for a roaring good time and she'll be damn sure that she gets that.
Junpei Yoshino
Ultoma: A series of blots with strings underneath his fringe.
What is this? Another first year? The Jellyfish Witch? I'm in the driver's seat now so why not?
So Junpei wasn't actually born a witch. He was a human who had the potential to be a pretty-okay mage, but a deal with a young demon morphed his soul into that of a witch before transferring his body into one that has all of the perks of a witch (immortality, bewitching blood, etc). However, things go sideways when the Association get involved (a bunch of murders were piling up), and Mahito destroys Junpei's original body, trapping him in this state.
So Junpei just trying to adapt to the witch lifestyle (he doesn't have the inherited knowledge like most, and isn't used to having his soul hunted by everyone, or fighting) while also making friends for the first time
Mimiko Hasaba
Ultoma: A pattern of a rope around her neck
Okay for her and the next two, if you're anime only you won't know who the twins are until the movie drops. This is the Hanging Witch. She the youngest of the Geto-Gojo household and is the most nervous/distrusting of humans. She and her sister where almost burned alive by them after all.
Her brother and sister are trying to get her out of her shell. Also she and Nanako are trying to help Yuji tap into Sukuna's magic so he can help save their dad.
Nanako Hasaba
Ultoma: Rope pattern trailing her fingertips
The the second Hasaba twin, the Photo Witch.. She's nosy, somehow gets in places she shouldn't and is frenemies with Nobara.
She and Megumi have an a sibling rivalry going on. Usually it was tempered by Tsumiki or their parents, but since Tsumiki is in an enchanted sleep, Getou is having a warlock joyride his body and Gojo is dealing with both teaching and the magic world wanting to revert to the Dark Ages, the only thing stopping those two from going overboard are themselves and whoever gets caught in the middle.
Nanako and Mimiko use different items as conduits for their magic because their the result of two different distant witch lines crossing. Usually it ends in disaster for the child, but they came our pretty okay. And their magic is still pretty similar; Nanako can manipulate locations and people through photos, while Mimiko can manipulate people through her dolls (also Mimiko has to kill them to release control). The similarity their magic has to Nobara is also probably why they so close to her.
Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed, and tomorrow I'll share my ideas for the second years! (Who have also gotten a size increase bc I wanted to not make it exactly like canon with the paint swapped)
Add suggestions if you feel like it!
