im going to be real posts that say discord vent channels are horrible no matter what even if it's in a small closed off friend circle really irk me. like yeah i don't care for them in big servers either but if your circle of friends is treating a vent channel like a therapy circle where others are obligated to look and respond instead of a low pressure ranting space to get shit off your chest where people have the Choice to respond i think you have bigger things to worry about in those friendships. also you can just mute and hide them or make an opt in role if they bother you that much
