it never fails to amaze me how some people can be so...dense? blind? or whatever adjective it is when it comes to the Doctor and River. Like that post wasn't even about who suffered/was imprisoned longer. It was about River AND the Doctor. Ugh. No wonder. I should no longer be surprised that people watched THORS and the No. 1 thing they got out of it was "the Eleventh Doctor is a deadbeat husband and distant with his affections" and "oh poor River, she spent all those years believing the Eleventh Doctor never loved her back".
