The "Yuu" for Pomefiore's chapter.

Seok doesn't really know what to make of the situation. One minute he was taking a walk around the neighbourhood with his dog, Hae, and boom, they were elsewhere. He makes the best of it, and enjoys spending his free time in the botanical gardens, or green spaces around the college. Joined the Mountain Lovers Club so he can learn more about the botany of Twisted Wonderland.

He lived in Busan, South Korea with their father, mother, and older brother. He was born without his left arm and uses a prosthetic. He has 2 main prosthetics; one looks more life-life whereas the other one is bright and covered in plant stickers. He only wears them when he's out and about though.

Seok would have sorted into Scarabia, as he's very mindful of his actions and others. He tends to notice when others are feeling down and gifts them a plant; others tend to be confused about this but they accept the gift, especially since he has a happy smile on. They usually gift pothos, as it's an easy plant to keep care of, even for those afflicted with brown thumbs. ^v^

He hates food waste, especially if there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. They will lecture people about it as well; eat those damn leftovers before making something else. He also tries to grow most of his own plant products and teaches others how to use leftover scraps to grow new plants, or responsibly turn them into compost for the garden.

Their closet is mainly clothes that he doesn't mind getting dirty, torn, or ruined. He usually wears his hair in a half-up half-down look, or back in a bun so it doesn't get in his face while he's working. He has been tempted to chop it all off, but they still remember the childhood photos with the blunt bangs; never again. They tend to overheat easily, so he doesn't wear the NRC jacket with his uniform, or a tie; they don't like the feeling of it.

Seok likes to chat with Crewel about this worlds plants, and their uses. He was gifted a large tome about plants from a lost civilization; the book is called The Shepard's Journal. He likes discussing it with Jade, since maybe since he's from the Coral Sea he heard about them. Doesn't like Crowley, since he nearly killed his entire garden.

The "Yuu" for Heartslabyul's chapter.

Yusra is the first "Yuu" to be teleported in TWST, which panics her brother Prem back at home (more on him later). She adapts quickly though, and Deuce reminds her of her brother, so she befriended him right away. She's also friends with Ace and Grim, although she really doesn't know why she decided to keep those two headache inducers around. Oh right, those three are a package deal.

Yusra's family is Bengali, but immigrated to Brisbane, Australia; that's right, Bengali-Australian MC. She had to deal with large spiders and the occasional snake; what's magic to that? She is self-assured in her abilities, but she also does keep an eye out for her friends. Somewhat blunt with her words, but her emotions can be easily read.

The mirror would have sorted her into Octavinelle if she had magic, as she is at her core, generous. Not a generous winner though, especially during strategy games; likes to be smug when she beats Azul. Terrible when it comes to luck-based games, but oh well, as long as she doesn't come in last place. (Frenemies with Azul, polite with Idia for the most part)

She tends to get out extra stress - be it due to being in a different dimension, her new friends, or everything in between - by cooking family recipes. And she befriended Trey when she was cooking one night, and enjoys spending time with him when she's not busy. He's calm, and she likes that... even if his puns are terrible. But bad puns is better than putting out another fire.

She likes lighter fabrics, as they allow for more movement. She HATES itchy fabrics as it irritates her skin. She ADORES pastel colours, and she only has pastel clothes in her closet back at home; not a fan of the NRC uniform but she makes do with pastel hijabs. She tends to decorate her hijab with pins; usually a pink heart or the blue pearl pin gifted to her by Prem. She also wears bright bands in her braces.

She loves cats, and likes to stay behind whenever she has time in Professor Trein's class, petting Lucius and learning more about Twisted Wonderland. Lucius reminds her of her one cat back at home, Berlioz. Whereas Grim reminds her of Toulouse, her no-brain-cell-having orange cat. She finds Headmage Crowley... incompetent.

How did I Come Up With Their Names! (I mainly looked at name meanings and also the culture that my OCs are from until I found something with a good meaning. I used behindthename & behindthesurname for first and last names)

Ségdae Tonyx

Ségdae is an Old Irish name which means "favourable, fine, good learned" and also an Irish myth. Tonyx is just taken from a part of the scientific name for leopard seals; Hydrurga leptonyx. I was searching for an Irish name, as selkies are from Celtic mythology, and Ségdae felt correct.

Yusra Bashar

Yusra is an Arabic name meaning "wealth, ease", and she is my first TWST OC, and also one of the few that I didn't change from my OG designs. Also, she brings a wealth of love and chaos to her loved ones... and I could short form her name to Yu... Bashar is Arabic/Bengali for "bringing good news". Wealth of good news; kinda what the combo means.

Prem Bashar

Prem means "love, affection" in Sanskrit, and I just thought it really fit him. And when with Yusra, their sibling relationship is nothing but full of ease and affection. Love, bringing good news.

Imani Lechance

Imani means "faith" in Swahili, but was originally derived from Arabic. Lachance is a French nickname for a lucky person, but was turned into a surname. He doesn't really believe in luck, so it's a fun little play on my part. Faith in luck.

Avis Crawford

Avis is just Latin for bird; yeah yeah, I'm shameless. Crawford is an English surname from a place which means "crow river crossing". There wasn't a lot of thought behind their name, I just wanted birb meanings.

Yoon Seok

Yoon is a Korean surname meaning "govern, oversee" and Seok means "stone" or "tin". He likes being in nature and gardens so "oversees stone" felt fitting. Also nickname for Yoo, guilty again

Rayen Vega

Rayen is Mapuche for "flower" but is also used in Latin America. Vega is Spanish for "meadow". So yes, her name means "flower meadow" and I love it.

Eden Ziskind

Eden is Hebrew for "pleasure, delight. Ziskind is an ornamental Yiddish name for "sweet child". Delight sweet child.
