in regards to your shipping question:

i’ve always seen it as a mix of both — people who love to ship in general and are very for shipping characters, but that also includes problematic ships. like they’ll ship anyone and everyone whether it’s problematic or not

Okay going by that I definitely would not be pro-ship.

Because, I have a really "whatever" attitude towards shipping as long it's not problematic.

Like just as an example: some people may like Cynonari others may like Haino. And I'm just here like... yeah whatever, if it makes you happy you do you, it's two adult characters. No matter if that would align with my personal ship, because they're fictional so why would I care about something like a "relationship" between two fictional characters as if my life depended on it that everyone likes them, too?? 💀🤷🏻‍♀️

In general just don't care if people ship or not. I have a very select few genshin characters I'd like the idea of but I would not obsess over details. Whether there are "hints" or "canon" stuff you could read into it, idc. It's also always adult characters.

In general, I'm just not hardcore into shipping because I'm very indifferent about it. I may like the idea of two characters but at the end of the day, I don't care what other people ship these characters with (again... as long as it's not problematic). Because of that, I'm actually not sure I'd even call myself a shipper because I have maybe... two ships I ever liked.

I always kind of preferred the self-ship/reader-insert side more because it's way less toxic and we can all simp together without fighting 😎😂

So overall my TLDR: Shipping is complicated and confusing. I'm staying in my cushy corner of the internet.
