Okay, here I am! I loved how you described Freddie's intense grief and how he couldn't even care for his performance on stage. The miscommunication in this chapter is so perfect! They literally don't want nothing more than to be together and love each other, but they think the other doesn't want that at all. Freddie seeing Brian talking to a girl and being like, "Yeah, I'm gonna be sick" was sooooo sad!! And the way Bill's shadow is still in Freddie's mind was so chilling, but sadly pretty realistic. Freddie went through something terrible and terrifying so it's to be expected he couldn't just shake it off. And the way Brian tried to take a dig at him, but just made him panic 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 And when he had sex with that french guy and Bill was still on his mind😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 (the way he said Brian's name...💔). And the fact he's still freaked out by violence, when he saw Brian and Ratty😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫. And John! John really is trying to be a good friend even if he doesn't really get everything. I'm glad Brian felt brave enough to open up to him. The fact finding out Freddie had been hurt was what made Brian spiral and just try to win him back is so in character imo. It broke my heart that Freddie still thinks that everything Brian is doing is someway to torture him and hurt him, while that's not the case. Really reminded me of when they broke up and Freddie said to Phoebe he didn't know why Brian was doing that to him (and I wonder if Phoebe's advice to Brian to just be his guitarist will come up soon👀). Anyway, the most heartbreaking moments in this chapter were: Freddie thinking Brian would've never been proud of anything they did, like he was ashamed of it (and related to this, Brian, darling, you really to make love to him and worship his body asap), Freddie imagining them making love in silk sheets 🥹😭, Freddie thinking that Brian could at least break his heart in private and not tell anyone, "don't ever scare me like that again"😵‍💫💔. And aaaahhhh I can't wait for their confrontantion, I can't decide if they are going to scream, fight, cry, hug, kiss or fuck or all of the above! I just need them to actually idk smile at each other. It's been soooo long!😭 (and I guess that's also what makes it all hurt even more, they lost their friendship too) Actually Brian should say to Freddie something ridicolous like his soul is painted like the wings of butterflies or something 😉
