Bad writing in anime, manga and manhwas has been making me incredibly FURIOUS lately. Idk why it's getting to me so bad all of a sudden lol. I threw one of my mangas across the room in the middle of reading it the other night; Almost threw my phone and stopped reading multiple BL manhwas like 70+ chapters in and just now almost threw my drink against the wall watching some anime.

I think it makes me angrier because these were stories that had good writing up to that point, but then threw it all out the window to have some cliche trope happen or were just inconsistent in the writing of their characters. It's just happened so much recently that it's driving me insane.

#i.e. LOVED the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen and the movie but the first few epispdes of seaosn 2 were so bad that i stopped watching #almost 70% of the BL manhwas i've read force this scene where the main charactered gets too drunk by themselves in a public bar #and then either almost or DOES get s*xually assaulted even when it's out of character for the person #or you know they're not safe and they know they're not safe around the people with them at the time and they're supposed to be “smart” but #then get hammered anyway?? or take a drink from someone nefarious that is obviously drugged?? so tired of it #the way these stories just act like s*xual assualt is NOTHING like damn I'm so tired of these stories doing this #don't even get me started on the inconsistencies in writing for anime #i've already gone on for so long but i could on for another hour at least #literally the only thing in my life currently making me mad but it's making me FURIOUS lol #pls god forgive my typos 🙏🏼
