Who initiated the relationship, and how did it go? Diana asked completely out of the blue if Steve wanted to have sex and Steve almost choked on a twizzler so... Diana just felt like she had missed out on a lot and she was going away anyway and hadn't done that with anybody and she likes Steve and his company and trusts him and okay maybe is a little attracted to him so why not offer. This spiraled into a kind of no feelings attached (read: lots of feelings, lots of pining) summer fling before Diana shipped off to college. Steve finally managed to get up the courage to blurt out that he essentially loved her and wanted to give long distance a shot and it's okay if she didn't feel that way Steve just wanted her to know that being with her was incredible and he'd always remember it and he wished it could be forever. OOPS. Diana isn't good with dealing with feelings so she kind of like...blew Steve off. Not in a mean way or anything! She just needed time to think and didn't know how to articulate that. Queue Steve absolutely PANICKING. A day or so later, Diana came back and told him that she felt the same and hasn't really felt that way about anyone since him SNIFF. Also apologizes for like...going AWOL ON HIM.

Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like? A few days before she left for college, Steve finally took Di on a real official date at a nice restaurant (read: like the only nice restaurant in Hawkins lmao it was probably Enzo's) and I can just see everything going wrong for them and Steve wanted it to be PERFECT but at the end of the night Diana tells him it was the best date she's had. What was their first kiss like? Lingering, tentative, chaste. They're not sure how they feel with the whole situation. The two of them pull back and just kind of look at each other for a second because woah that was really, really nice. And Steve opens his mouth to fill the silence because of course he does and his heart is beating way too fast and he wants to kiss her again but doesn't want to pressure her into anything even if she was the one who brought it up.

And Diana grabs him by the cheeks and kisses him so hard Steve can feel all her kisses hours later after they've done the deed and he's dropped her off at home and he's laying in bed going what the fuck just happened.

Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)? Steve was Diana's first time and first serious significant other. What’s their height difference? Age difference? Diana is pretty tall but Steve is like 6'1 and she's maybe 5'7? They're both the same age give or take a few months! What’s their relationship with each other’s families? Do they share a friend group? Mr. Reed is...not a huge fan of Steve at first. Just because he saw first hand the crowd he ran with in highschool but as the years pass he learns what a good man Steve is and how well he treats Diana. Also, the minute they make him a grandpa all is pretty much forgiven because Grandpappy Reed is the happiest man alive. Mrs. Reed in contrast loves Steve cause he's polite and always offers to help her clean up after dinner. He seems just like a boyfriend that moms love when he dates their daughters.

Steve's parents are just...assholes. Diana is way too...Diana for them sometimes. Independent, outspoken, smart as a whip. It's almost like they're kind of insecure? Especially Steve's mother who is a petty bitch and not in a fun quirky way she's just mean. But it doesn't matter to them. Diana knows the problems between Steve and his parents and Steve could not give less of a fuck about their opinion of Diana. In fact, them not liking her kind of just solidifies he made a good choice being with her.

Who takes the lead in social situations? Usually Steve! Unless they're at some function for Diana then Steve is usually the fish out of water while Diana chats up all her super smart colleagues.

Who gets jealous easier? I think Steve shows he's jealous more easier but Diana gets jealous quicker she just doesn't voice it.

Who whispers things in the other’s ear? STEVE. Hornball....
