Primarily an author of historical pieces, Cyphura wanted to try her hoof at a stage production, and felt like it would be a good opportunity to teach some changeling history. Working with a songwriter who was sympathetic to the idea, she came up with Call Her Queen, a (mostly) comedic revue concerning Queen Chrysalis after her failure at Princess Cadance’s wedding.

Her main goal was to represent Chrysalis accurately as she was¹, and felt that Candor Countershade had the right talents for the lead role. Candor agreed, certain she’d be able to really bring the feeling of the former queen to the stage. The Off-Bridleway show received high reviews from critics but, perhaps understandably, didn’t do well with general audiences. Changelings were conflicted.²

This one’s kinda dumb, but I thought it would be fun to try.
