also i forgot to mention. the whole storm thing was made worse today because a tree fell on a transformer near our house like...2 or 3 times today.......and the same tree also broke during a storm 2 weeks ago and fell on the same transformer. and they decided it was a good idea when that happened to not cut the tree down. because of that tree we didn't have power for like 7 hours today

#i cant entirely blame that tree though. ameren is also just dumb sometimes #they turned our power back on without checking something first obviously because 1 minute after they turned it on around 8pm #the transformer literally exploded and according to our neighbor 'it looked like a reverse lightning bolt going into the sky'#and....surprise........we lost power again for like an hour and a half #heres to hoping they cut that mf tree down so we stop having 2+ hour long power outages every time it RAINS #simon says
