I would love a mw2 pairing from you! i love your work sm!!!
appearance wise: I am 5’4, i am pale-ish, my hair is dark brown and wavy, it has a lot of volume from being frizzy + i have layers, and it’s armpit length. my eyes are dark brown as well and i have full eyebrows/lashes. I would definitely say i’m on the chubbier side, most noticeably in my round face, 🍒, and thighs. covered in quite a few scars but most of them are faint and only visible up close. in my day to day i wear small silver hoops almost always, and usually my clothes consist of bell bottom jeans and some sort of form fitting shirt / an oversized shirt or sweater and shorts + low top converse. also wear makeup almost daily, at least concealer for my chronic dark circles and some mascara and brow gel
personality wise: i do my best to come off as a understanding and open person to anyone, but i’m definitely very shy upon first meeting people, and (surprise surprise) can’t shut up when i get comfortable (this takes months). im always reserved in group settings, not good with public speaking, etc etc. i tend to have a drier sense of humor, most of the time if i make one of my loved ones laugh it’s due to my lack of reaction to something i or someone else did or said. when i do actually make a joke my sense of humor is a little on the darker side, no offense jokes at all, just shock humor. that and teasing for sure, playfully teasing is my fav. my love languages are verbal affirmation and quality time, im very intuitive and can pick up what people around me are feeling. i love taking care of other, i absolutely thrive when i’m nurturing my friends and family. i am known to be very clumsy and am constant covered in bruises from walking into walls/furniture (it’s half clumsiness and half being 🍃). also i am an avid user of 🍃!
interests and likes: video games (i play on pc and switch!), painting, drawing, and sculpting are my favorite hobbies! but when i’m not feeling up to them i like anime, makeup, fashion, just started getting into the gym, besides that physically speaking the only things that’ve interested me are volleyball and swimming. and i would also consider myself a sanrio enthusiast ^-^ i really enjoy cooking as well as baking and i research new recipes daily. also kinda of obsessed with mood boards (pinterest is everything to me), anything that let me express a niche aesthetic i have interest in. i enjoy reading tarot i have a decent crystal collection i keep on display. also a huge fan of candles, perfume, scented lotion, body spray, incense, anything really that smells fresh (inclshing just actual fresh air) point is, i love smelling good. bit of a skin care fanatic and have practically used my face as a lab rat for different chemicals. listen to music prosctially every hour of the day i love lana del rey, kali uchis, arctic monkeys, PTV, p!atd, slipknot, SOAD, fiona apple, cage the elephant, fleetwood mac, and the list goes on.
future aspirations: currently in my second year of community college but i’m basically just going to get into a white-collar desk job in fianance after getting my bachelor’s, i don’t have any passion for it but that doesn’t matter to me! money is money that feeds into real interests :) /gen
my type: i would say i’m a very open person, i don’t have a physical type but body wise i’d like my partner to be a little taller than me, either more extroverted than me, or capable of handling social situations that are too much for my anxiety. i am not the most outgoing so i couldn’t really get along with someone who wants to be out of the house constantly, my batteries NEED to recharge. other qualified i love are being complimented by my partner, being praised, info dumping + listening to them info dump!!! i love being spoiled + spoiling my partner in every way.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
How you met: Civilian Kyle never understood why the US Navy loved going to the beach. But after a successful mission with the Navy SEALs, he was invited to "train" with them on the beaches of California with a friendly volleyball competition. As he arrived at the beach in his swim trunks (ones that he had to buy because who would think they needed to bring one), he could see the net set up and a few patrons suntanning a good distance away. When the game first started, he had the unfortunate position of servicing the ball. He tried to do an underhand serve but it went flying across the beach and directly towards a young woman who was enjoying the summer sun. "Heads up!" he yelled but suddenly you caught the ball with record accuracy. Your silver hoops dangled as you rose from your towel and you could see a couple of the men motion for you to roll the ball over. You smirked as you palmed the ball in your hand and threw it up in the air, delivering a jump serve which hit the net with impressive force. Your actions received a few whistles and cheers and you smiled before going back to tanning and listening to your Fiona Apple album. After the match had ended, your sun was blocked by a young man who glistened with sweat in the heat. You lowered your glasses and struck up a friendly conversation. "That was impressive," he breathed out in a gorgeous accent, "you have to show me how to do that."
A peek into your relationship: "I still don't understand how you can do that," Kyle said as you laid on your couch, smoking a bowl. "You just have to grind it up, pack it, then you suck it like a strong and light until you see embers, and then you inhale," you replied before repeating your actions and blowing some smoke in his face. Kyle had been respectful of your habits and you entertained him as he couldn't risk a positive drug test. Besides, he enjoyed the company and your high thoughts. As he rubbed circles on your shoulder, you laid in his chest and mused about random thoughts. "Do you think that bees and butterflies are snobby about what flowers they pick? Like is it like when you go to a restaurant and you only like one type of food?" you asked and you could hear your boyfriend laugh wildly. "What goes on in that head of yours?" he replied and kissed your cheek gently. "Oh that reminds me there's some new summer perfumes from Sephora that are just calling to me!" you said excitedly before Kyle grabbed you and held you back in his arms. "Oh no you don't!" he exclaimed, "let's talk about perfume purchases when you're not thinking about the bees and butterflies."

There are a bunch of variants to choose from when it comes down to styling your hair. You could cut them short, the pixie cut is the hottest trend these days or you could add a dash of red to your mane, or you could go all out and blond it up!! But if it is all too OTT for you, you could keep it subtle yet stylish by straightening them. Good ol' straightening never goes out of fashion and could transform your countenance in no time. All you need is to get yourself the straightener to help you out with the process. It could prove out to be a daunting task to choose the best hair straightener as you don't want to use just anything on your hair. Worry not, I got you. There is this thing about tips, the more of those you get, the better it is. So I'll tell you some of my favorites tricks which have made a world of difference for me and around them, you could plan your straightening sesh. 1) Ditch starting from the top It does not apply here. If you'd like your hair tangle-less, I suggest you start from the back of your head, partitioning your locks into small sections, eventually reaching the top. 2) Pick Your Weapon What I want to say is decide which straightener you'd think will do the bidding for you. The best hair straightener here can be ascertained according to your hair length. Thinner the hair texture, thinner has to be your straightening tool. 3) Swear By The Protectant Hair protectants can literally be lifesavers. It is never a good idea to keep your precious Lucious personality defining locks in a direct way of sweltering heat. Behold, hair protectants!! Out to save your hair. 4) Hair Spray All The Way!!!! I mean it. It is no rule to only apply the said spray after you're done with your handy work. In Fact, if you do spray it on, before beginning, it is likely to help you keep your locks like that for a long while. 5) Look After Your Hair I've kept the best for the last. It is the #1 textbook rule. If you want each lock to come out lustrously silky once you straighten them out, start a regime to keep them in good shape. Don't forget to oil, wash, and condition them, apply serum, mask, or whatever it takes. Because as they say "we're worth it".

An Apt device to curl your hair or set them in beachy waves around your shoulders. One device, so many uses! Splendid really! 4) VEGA Adore Hair Straightener (VHSH-18)

It is right up there on the top with G.O.A.T. 5) Kemei KM-329 Professional Hair Straightener
Image: Amazon Bringing you the hair makeover that you desire at a few movements of your wrists, at a steal deal, if you make haste. Definitely the best hair straightener you can procure at this prize. But trust me on this, it is worth every single penny that you shell out. I can't single out one thing that stands out for me, that is how impressive it is. From the cutting edge technology in action that makes sure equal amounts of heat is spread through all section of hair, a bunch of temperatures, set for the device after proper observations and styling plates with keratin on it. All of these make for a beautifully put together hair-styling tool, apt for everyone, be it a frequent hair-changer or a wannabe stylist. 7) SYSKA HS6810 Hair Straightener

Dealing with thick, wavy and unruly hair for men
So many of us are obsessed with the thought of a thin reetch, it is easy to forget that baldness is not a man's only concern when it comes to his barnet: thick, wavy and usually unruly hair can do all the problems , also.
And with a Don King hair day, more than just your appearance can be affected. According to a Yale University study, men who aren't happy with their hair tend to be more confident, self-critical, and less sociable than their well-deserved colleagues. Even the thought of a bad hair day has been shown to dramatically affect self-esteem.
Before you literally pull your hair out, keep in mind that there is no such thing as "normal" when it comes to things on your head – just the hair that you have been treated by accident: hair that is unique to you. And what makes it unique depends on its structure.
Evaluate your hair type
Hair varies in thickness – from 50 microns (a unit of 1 millionth of a meter) for people with fine hair to over 100 microns. The thickness also depends on the number of individual hairs on your head.
How the hair behaves depends on the shape of the individual waves. Asian hair, for example, is often round, lying flat and straight; caucasian hair is slightly oval, which tends to make it fine with varying degrees of waviness; and Afro-Caribbean hair is flat and curved, which gives it its distinctly curly look.
In addition, hair density – how many individual shafts there are on the head – is influenced by its color, with blondes being the least haired and redheads the least.
"Half of the battle learns how to work with the hair you got," said Wendy Lewis, author of Hair Affair. "You may know best how your hair behaves, but making it look healthy, shiny, and manageable can take a little knowledge."
At this (shared) end, this guide is here to help. Whether your mop is wavy, curly, frizzy, thick or just refuses to lie flat, we have a battle plan to defeat any kind of bad hair day.
Dealing with: thick hair
In the same way that it is difficult to sympathize with a billionaire who complains about the price of maintaining his yacht, it is hard to feel pity for a man who complains that his hair is too thick. But if you're that man, a thick reetch can be a constant source of annoyance.
"For thick hair, the main issue is manageability and sheer volume of hair," said Jaymarie Winkler, general manager of the new Ruffians hair salon at Liberty department store in London.
How to style thick hair
In general, slightly shorter hairstyles work best here. "Think about Caesar fringes, buzz cuts, structured plants and short choppy quiffs," says Winkler.
If the hair is particularly thick, ask your hairdresser or stylist to take some of the weight off with special thinning scissors. "This can help if your hair is very thick, but avoid it if your hair is coarse as it becomes carbonated and more complex."
It is also worthwhile for the hair to dry naturally if possible, as blow drying can increase volume and make it look even thicker. If blow drying is important, stick to a cool setting.
What products to use for thick hair
Non-volumizing mousse, on the one hand. Thick hair benefits from styling products that provide hold without adding volume or stickiness, so Winkler suggests stowing on clay or pastes.
According to Paul Morgan, a hairdresser at Jacks of London, a good moisturizing shampoo is also important, as is a decent conditioner. “They will not dry out the hair and keep it in good condition, which is important because when the hair is dry, the cuticle stays [die äußerste Schicht des Haares] open and it will appear even thicker and straw-like. ”
Conditioners also help keep thick hair manageable and result in a sleek and less voluminous look. “Moroccan oil is great for thick hair because it moisturizes and can change texture and soften hair over time,” says Morgan.
Dealing with: wavy hair
Around 40 percent of Caucasian men have slightly wavy hair, and if you're one of them, you're in good company – David Gandy, Orlando Bloom, and Roger Federer are three well-known men who know how to drive the waves.
Like curly hair, the wavy stuff can appear voluminous and tends to react to the weather – whereby the wave is more pronounced in high air humidity or with drizzle in the air. Additional waves can also sprout in places you would rather not have done and become knotted and tangled if your hair is long.
How to style wavy hair
"Instead of a bad thing, wavy hair is in many ways the holy grail of hair types," says Winkler. “Pretty much all styles work, but everything that has been pushed back really shows off that wave. If your hair is thick and wavy, your hairdresser can take out part of the mass with a razor or thinning scissors without risking frizz. ”
Particularly good cuts for guys with wavy hair are the undercut (where the sides and back hold an ultra short with the hair worn long up), the public school side part (where the fringe falls forward) or loose and bridled (think Jon Snow or Harry Styles). Remember: the longer the hair, the more pronounced the wave. So if control is your goal, keep your hair under three inches or so in length.
To tame longer wavy hair that tends to be somewhat unruly, Morgan suggests tying it loose overnight. "In the morning it will have a natural, messy, wavy look – very easy to care for and effortlessly cool."
Which products to use on wavy hair
"I recommend using sea salt or a volume spray to give some oomph before styling with a shiny pomade or styling paste," says Winkler.
You can maximize (and maintain) your waves with hair products designed to define and improve curls and waves, while reducing the crazy scientist look with an anti-frizz serum.
If you really want to wave goodbye, you can always temporarily remove them with the help of a pair of ceramic flat irons. If your cut is particularly short, choose a model with smaller plates, as they offer greater precision – that's the difference between smoldering optics and second-degree burns.
Dealing with: curly hair
"Curly hair is curly because the follicle from which it grows under the scalp is not straight," says celebrity hairdresser and trichologist Guy Parsons. Typically, curly hair is coarser in texture, and the coarser the hair, the less water it holds and therefore it is the dryer.
"It also absorbs light instead of reflecting it, so it doesn't tend to look" shiny "like straighter hair would," says Parsons. "The other downside is that it can become frizzy in wet weather, so it's important to use products that create a protective shield around it."
How to style curly hair
Many people find curly hair care overwhelming and neglect it to the point of the 1980s comedy Scouser ("It's certainly not the easiest hair type to manage," Parsons admits).
You have three options: fight it by cropping it (that's how Justin Timberlake attacks his infamous curly mop above), remove the curls with a relaxing treatment, or – and this is by far the easiest and most authentic option – you can simply make the most of what nature has given you. After all, it's not like there aren't many poster boys for curly hair: think James Franco, Adrian Grenier and Carlos Valderrama. Okay, so maybe not Valderrama, but you have the idea.
"To groom and define curly hair, ask your hairdresser for a flat, layered cut to create a full, curly finish," advises Morgan. "You don't want too much thinning or texturing to take place." A curly undercut (short on the back and on the sides, long and curly at the top) always looks good, as does a curly quiff and hair that has grown to the length of the jaws a la Aiden Turner in Poldark.
Whichever style you choose, make sure you cut or shape it when you're dry. Curly hair is more relaxed when it is wet, jump back a little when it is dry so it is cut this way, guaranteeing the style and length you want.
What products to use on curly hair
"Product selection is critical to curly hair," says Morgan, who recommends a moisturizing shampoo to prevent hair from becoming dry and frizzy, alongside a styling product like Moroccan Oil Molding Cream. "It can be applied to wet hair and, because it's incredibly moisturizing, is perfect for curly hair," he says. "It will help define the curls and give them good hold."
If you are in a knot, take the right tool too. The hair can be tangled with a brush specially designed for thick and curly hair. These have flexible teeth that gently detangle and smooth the cuticles of the hair while minimizing damage. Likewise, drying hair with a hair dryer with a diffuser will help protect the hair and define curls without making them frizzy.
"For a more relaxed, loose look, simply dry the hair with a towel and use a standard hair dryer nozzle or funnel to straighten the hair for a more relaxed curl," says Morgan. "Or if you want to get rid of them, flat irons could give you a new look for the day."
Keep in mind that using heat on curls – along with alcohol-based sprays and mousses – can make dry hair even drier. So don't forget to reverse the effects with a moisturized, non-volumizing shampoo and occasionally deep conditioner.
Dealing with: unruly hair
Like young children, hair can be obedient and well-behaved, or unruly and defiant. Since your hair is unique, it is likely that it will have its own kinks and quirks. Most of them will hug you and have learned to live, but a couple – cowlicks and double crowns – can be particularly problematic.
Crowns are (mostly clockwise) hair swirls that form at a central point on the back of the head directly from the top of your head – but some people have two of them that create a "double crown". These can be difficult for hairdressers because they have to deal with two centers of growth to style.
Cowlicks, meanwhile, are small sections of hair that go against the general direction of hair on the head to create gravity-defying tufts that hold and defy most attempts to tame them with products like waxes and pomades.
Knew how:
"If you have a distinctive double crown, you have to commit to either a long, very choppy, or short style," says Winkler. "Longer the crown will complain, make it less noticeable, and short and choppy will hide it." Everything in between and you ask for trouble, with different hair pieces noticeably growing apart.
The easiest way to deal with a stubborn cowlick is to make a short, spiky, or structured style that works with it and not against it, disguising the hyperactive hair.
What products should be used on unruly hair?
There is no magic potion that can help here. However, some styling techniques can help make things easier.
For example, blow drying can temporarily change the direction of hair growth if cowlicks are an issue, while hair growth can help longer by weighing it.
Interestingly, washing the hair is less often a good hack, since the natural oils weigh the individual strands at the root.

Current Beauty Routine
This request made from @NatsumiAjisaka on twitter on my current beauty routine. My current skin is normal/dry with some sensitive areas like my cheeks. Common skin concerns are hormonal acne, dullness, and hyperpigmentation.
Any questions on the below, happy to answer. Feel free to inbox me.
SKINCARE
My skin has drastically changed since from high school. Then, I had a simpler routine that literally consisted of Cetaphil Cleanser, Biore Triple Action Astringent (the green one before they reformulated it), and Aveeno Ultracalming Moisturizer SPF 15. That’s it. My skin was super clear with the occasional hormonal acne.
In college and even adulthood, my skin took a turn for the worse. My skin started to get bored of my routine and stress took a huge toll. I developed acne around my chin and mouth area and I am currently combating a lot of scarring/redness. I was on a good birth control pill that evened my skintone out however I found the side effects too extreme. Currently debating if I should find another pill with lesser side effects but that’s still tbd.
1/ Cleanser: Big fan of removing makeup with cleansing oils. My fav in college was L’Occitane Shea Cleansing Oil ($24) but recently my skin has been enjoying Organic Jojoba Oil (~$10). Once makeup is removed, I lather on Drunk Elephant Pekee Cleanser Bar ($28). The struggle was out there to find a cleanser that was PH balanced, sans fragrance, and doesn’t strip my skin too much.
2/Exfoliants: Over the years, I’ve gotten pretty sophisticated with chemical exfoliants. In high school, I was a HUGE fan of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub (everyone and their mother was) although it was incredibly abrasive to my sensitive skin. Even a clarisonic was a huge waste and made my skin feel dull af. Chemical exfoliants are the only products that truly restore the natural glow in my face sans highlighter. Luckily, I was reading a skincare blog (forgot the name) and it mentioned BHA and AHA exfoliants. Life changing shit. My favs are Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid (%28) and Drunk Elephant TLC Framboose Glycolic Night Serum ($90). Honorable mention: Mizon AHA and BHA Daily Toner ($18). I prefer to use these products 1-2 a week. My skin can get exhausted when I use too many exfoliants. I tend to use the PC BHA Liquid more on my problem areas like t-zone and cheeks whereas I like to use the glycolic acid all over.
3/Moisturizer: In the winter, I was lathering on Organic Jojoba Oil (the winter exacerbates my dry patches). I also rotate in The Ordinary The Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA ($5.80) into my routine during the summer. It’s a simple, non-greasy formula and so cheap.
4/Sunscreen: I once read an article in a Harper’s Bazaar mag that my mom used to subscribe to about this woman who religiously used SPF 50 from her teens to now her 60s and looked so so young. Sunscreen became a religious part of my routine - I felt naked if I forgot it. My OG favorite is Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion WetForce Broad Spectrum SPF 50 ($40). I am currently using (since I am broke) Aveeno Active Naturals SPF 50 ($9). It’s pretty good and non-comedogenic.
BEAUTY
I don’t think my makeup routine has changed drastically since high school like my skincare. Growing up, my mother hardly wore makeup. If she did, she always sported a simple bare face and lipstick.
Brows - my favorite feature on my face is my brows (thnx genetics). I credit my mother for not making me pluck my brow hairs AT ALL in the early 2000s when everyone and their mother did. She always knew that the natural brows would come back into trend. She was (is always) right. My brow philosophy is to do a nice bushy brow. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil in Dark Brown ($21) and MAC Clear Brow Gel ($18). I pencil in the sparse areas of my brow which are mostly the ends and use the brow gel to set in in place.
Primer: not a huge fan of using primers. I tend to concentrate on my t-zone and other areas where I have a lot of pores. I love the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer (trial size $21) and Benefit Pore-Fessional ($31).
Foundation: for the work week, I don’t like to slather on too much makeup. My favorite foundation base for work is NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Alaska ($45). If I am going out, I’ll use Make Up Forever HD Foundation ($42) in shade 115 and 117. Concealer - I’ll use Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer ($48) for overal spot treatment and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30). For poder, I use a Lancome one which I forgot the name of.
Blush: I’m obsessed with Milani Luminoso ($8). I used to be indifferent to blush since my cheeks have a normal flush to them and I spend a long of time concealing the redness. A light swatch Milani Luminoso gives me the perfect about of glow from within without it looking to obvious. My fav cream formula is Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Promise ($31).
Eyes: Confession - I’m not really into eyeshadow. If there’s one beauty product I could go without it’s that. I’ve bought two palettes in my entire life: Naked 2 and ABH Modern Renaissance. Which both are very great on their own however, I find myself using them less. I like to take a simple transition shade from either palettes to define my crease. For eyeliner, I use Mac Longwear Fluid Line ($17) and a simple angeled brush to draw a nice thin line. I haven’t been using eyeliner lately - too lazy. For mascara, I am enjoying Benefit Roller Lash ($24).
Highlighter/Contour/Bronzer: Must admit, I don’t use any of these products everyday. If I could chose a fav on the list, it would be highlighter. I am so glad we live in the era of extravagant highlighters. I have too many highlighters but my absolute favorite, one that I’ve hit pan before is Laura Mercier Radiance Baked Powder in Highlighter 01 ($42). It is the most natural, lit from within highlighter on the market. For a more dramatic effect, i use a liquid highlighter that I once bought from target (forgot the brand name) and layer Laura Mercier powder on top. For contour, I like ashy, cooler tone colors. Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder ($44) in light does me wonders. For bronzer, I like to lightly use NARS Sun Washing Diffusing Bronzer in Seaside ($40).
HAIRCARE
Hair is so important to me. I was born with coarse, frizzy, wavy hair. Which is both a blessing and curse. When I was younger, it was so difficult to tame my hair. My favorite hairstyle is the bomb shell, ultra volume blow out. Think 90s Supermodel esque type hair. I use L’Oreal Sulfate Free Shampoo + Conditioner which has done wonders for my hair and it’s pretty affordable. For styling I love: Bumble and Bumble Styling Creme ($26), Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam, and Ouai Dry Texturizing Spray. In addition to the traditional blow out, I have also started getting into using hot rollers for more volume and lift.

Frizz Hairs – Explain the Types, Causes and How to Remove the Frizzy Hair?
Frizz means hair bundles that stand out from the rest of your hair - these are the smallest dry hair bundles; they don't stay in place. The wrinkle tends to stand or bend and has a different texture type than the other points.
Different Types of Frizz Hair:
In general, braids differ from the normal style in hair because they differ infrequently from the rest of the braids. In other words, there are many forms of frizz on hair:
1.
Frizz Surface:
The frizz surface is volatile, appears only outside the hair, and is often fixed around curls.
2.
Halo Frizz:
Areola frizz refers to frizz that appears only at the top of the hair. The name comes from the way these frizz bristles create a coronary illusion around the top of the hair
3.
Curl Curve
This is the frizz that appears in Frizzy Hair (or a part of it). These ripples give the curl a neglected and uncertain appearance.
4.
Frizz at the Ends of Hairs:
This indicates the appearance of frizz on hair ends, similar to hair tips. These ripples usually appear as dry and brittle strands at the end of the hair.
5.
Pouf Bar Frizz:
Forbes emphasized that volatile names can overwhelm your hair and appear up and down and in curls. The reason for calling it feline hair is that people look like stool. We have tested all of this.
What Causes Frizz on Hair?
Why is my hair frizz? Before we discuss how to decorate your curls, let's first explain the reasons for making your curls fluffy.
·
Humidity:
Common causes of wrinkle are excessive moisture and humidity. We all know that moisture and heat can cause frizz on hair, but few people know why it occurs. Of course, we did not know before we looked at it. According to the working principle, moisture maintains a high percentage of hydrogen, and human hair is very sensitive to this hydrogen. Hydrogen forms a bond to the water molecules and proteins in your hair, and it is this connection that makes your hair volatile.
·
Dry Hair:
Another common cause of wrinkling is dehydration. After the hair dries (or dries naturally), it usually becomes frizzy. The truth is that dry hair requires moisture. When exposed to moisture, it tends to frizz faster than oily hair, for example. What if your hair is dry or damaged and it comes out when it is wet? The hair is dry, which means it absorbs all the moisture in the environment.
This is why naturally frizzy or wavy hair tends to frizz more easily. Since naturally frizzy or wavy hair tends to dry out, the hair will curl up when the first signs of moisture appear.
·
Injured Hair:
Damaged hair usually becomes frizzy, because damaged hair naturally dries. The habit is to heat a lot of hair on the hair, dye it a lot, or even excessively wash it, and then dry the curls, which damage the hair and frizzle it.
How to curly hair
Many people with naturally curly and curly braids struggle to Control Cheveux Crepus. The truth is that only bad hair habits can improve frizz. Hair health is a matter of education, research, trial, error and finding the right product.
Here Are Tips That Can Help You Control Frizz on Hair:
1. Choose A Shampoo and Glycerin Without Glycerin
When choosing a shampoo, look for products that contain glycerin at the top of the ingredient list. The closer the glycerin, the more concentrated it is in the product.
Glycerin penetrates the hair and moisturizes the interior, which helps to resist the cup. It is also an excellent moisturizer, which means it absorbs excess moisture in the air, forming a protective layer and preserving moisture.
In addition to glycerin, make sure your shampoo is sulphate-free. Sulfate is an amazingly common ingredient in shampoo as it forms foam.
However, the disadvantage is that sulfates can remove and dry natural oils on the hair, which can cause ripples. Sulphate-free shampoo maintains the hair's natural oil content and maintains more moisture.
2. Always Use the Conditioner:
Good AC performance is often underestimated. Make sure to use conditioner in every shampoo to moisturize the skin until moisture penetrates each wick.
This prevents the stratum cornets from spreading and allows excess moisture from the environment to penetrate, thus keeping it soft. When looking for an air conditioner, look for products that contain glycerin and other moisturizing ingredients (such as Shea butter). Make sure to apply medium moisturizer to the ends and away from the roots to avoid grease.
3. Use a Moisturizing Mask for a Week
Moisture in the hair prevents the skin from opening and allows moisture to enter, which is the main component of curly hair. Try a hair mask or haircare one time per week to keep hair moisturized and reduce styling damage.
Look for products that contain coconut or castor oil - both are great for moisturizing and give your hair incredible shine. This is a great DIY mask that you can make at home with just two ingredients. If you need more options, here are 5 additional hair masks. If your hair is particularly dry and damaged, we recommend using a hair mask or replacing the conditioner 2-3 times a week. Dealing With Men’s Thick, Wavy & Unruly Hair
So many of us are obsessed by the thought of a thinning thatch that’s it’s easy to forget that baldness isn’t a man’s only worry when it comes to his barnet: thick, wavy and generally unruly hair can all present problems, too.And having a Don King hair day can affect more than just your appearance. According to a study by Yale University, men who aren’t happy with their hair tend to be more self-conscious, more self-critical and less sociable than their well-coiffed counterparts. Even the thought of a bad hair day was shown to affect self-esteem dramatically. Before you literally pull your hair out, remember that there’s no such thing as ‘normal’ when it comes to the stuff on your head — just the hair you happen to have been dealt: hair that’s unique to you. And what makes it unique depends on its structure.Assessing Your Hair TypeHair varies in thickness — from 50 microns (a unit of measure equal to 1 millionth of a metre) in people with fine hair to over 100 microns. Thickness also depends on the number of individual hairs on your head. How the hair behaves depends on the shape of the individual shafts. Asian hair, for example, is often round, so lies flat and straight; Caucasian hair is slightly oval, which tends to make it fine with varying degrees of waviness; and Afro-Caribbean hair is flat and curved, giving it its distinctly curly appearance. What’s more, hair density — how many individual shafts there are on the head — is affected by its colour, with blondes having the most hair and redheads the least.“Half the battle is learning how to work with the hair you’ve been given,” says Wendy Lewis, author of Hair Affair. “You may know best how your hair behaves, but getting it to look healthy, shiny and manageable can take a little knowledge.”To that (split) end, this guide is here to help. Whether your mop is wavy, curly, frizzy, thick or just refuses to lie flat, we have a battle plan to defeat any kind of bad hair day.Dealing With: Thick HairIn the same way that it’s hard to sympathise with a billionaire who complains about the price of maintaining his yacht, it’s hard to feel pity for a man who complains his hair is too thick. But if you’re that man in question, a thick thatch can be a constant source of annoyance.“With thick hair, the main issue is manageability and the sheer volume of the hair,” says Jaymarie Winkler, a store manager at the new Ruffians barbershop in London department store Liberty. How To Style Thick HairGenerally, slightly shorter hairstyles work best here. “Think Caesar fringes, buzz cuts, textured crops and short choppy quiffs,” says Winkler. If the hair is especially thick, ask your barber or stylist to take some of the weight out using special thinning scissors. “This can help if your hair is very thick, but avoid doing it if your hair is also coarse, as it’ll make it fizzy and even more unmanageable.”It’s also worth allowing the hair to dry naturally whenever possible since blow-drying can increase volume, making it look even thicker. If blow-drying is essential, stick to a cool setting. What Products To Use For Thick HairNot volumising mousse, for one. Thick hair benefits from styling products that provide hold without adding volume or stickiness, so Winkler suggests stocking up on clays or pastes.According to Paul Morgan, a master barber at Jacks of London, a good moisturising shampoo is also essential, as is a decent conditioner. “They’ll stop hair drying out and keep it in good condition, which is important because if hair is dry the cuticles [the outermost layer of your hair] will remain open and it will seem even thicker and straw-like.”Conditioners also help keep thick hair manageable and result in a sleeker and less voluminous look. “Moroccan Oil is excellent for thick hair as it moisturises and, with prolonged use, can change the texture and soften the hair,” says Morgan.(Related: Men’s Short Haircuts Gallery)Dealing With: Wavy HairAround 40 per cent of Caucasian men have slightly wavy hair, and if you’re one of them, you’re in good company —David Gandy, Orlando Bloom and Roger Federer are three well-known men who know how to ride the waves.Like curly hair, the wavy stuff can appear bulky and tends to react to the weather — with the wave becoming more pronounced at times of high humidity or when there’s drizzle in the air. Additional waves can also sprout in places you’d rather they didn’t and get knotted and tangled if your hair is long. How To Style Wavy Hair“Rather than a bad thing, in many respects, wavy hair is the holy grail of hair types,” says Winkler. “Pretty much all styles work, but anything pushed back really shows off that wave. If your hair is thick as well as wavy, though, your barber can take some of the some of the bulk out with a razor or thinning scissors without risking frizz.”Particularly good cuts for guys with wavy hair include the undercut (where the sides and back a keep ultra short with the hair worn long on top), the public school side part (where the fringe falls forward) or loose and tousled (think Jon Snow or Harry Styles). Just remember: the longer the hair, the more pronounced the wave, so if control is your aim, keep your hair under three inches or so in length. To tame longer wavy hair that tends to be a bit unruly, Morgan suggests tying it up loosely overnight. “Taken down in the morning it will have a natural, messy, wavy look — very low maintenance and effortlessly cool.”What Products To Use On Wavy Hair“I recommend a sea salt or volumising spray to give a bit of oomph before styling with either a glossy pomade or a styling paste,” says Winkler. You can maximise (and look after) your waves with hair products designed to define and enhance curls and waves while reducing the mad scientist look with an anti-frizz serum. If you really want to wave goodbye, you can always temporarily remove them with the help of a pair of ceramic straighteners. If your cut is particularly short, opt for a model with smaller plates as these offer greater precision — which is the difference between smouldering looks and second-degree burns.Dealing With: Curly Hair“Curly hair is curly because the follicle that it grows from under the scalp is not straight,” says celebrity hairdresser and trichologist Guy Parsons. Typically, curly hair is more coarse in texture, and the coarser the hair, the less water it holds and therefore the dryer it is.“It also absorbs light rather than reflects it, so it doesn’t tend to look as ‘shiny’ as straighter hair would,” says Parsons. “The other downside is that it can become frizzy in humid weather, which is why it’s important to use products that create a protective shield around it.”How To Style Curly HairA lot of guys find caring for curly hair overwhelming, neglecting it to the point of comedy 1980s scouser (“it’s certainly not the easiest hair type to manage,” admits Parsons). You have three options: fight it by keeping it cropped (which is how Justin Timberlake tackles his notoriously curly mop top), remove the curls with a relaxing treatment, or — and this is by far the easiest and most authentic option — you can just make the most of what nature has given you. After all, it’s not as if there aren’t plenty of poster boys for curly hair: think James Franco, Adrian Grenier and Carlos Valderrama. Okay, so maybe not Valderrama, but you get the idea.“To maintain and define curly hair, ask your barber for a flat, layered cut to create a full, curly finish,” advises Morgan. “You don’t want too much thinning or texturising to take place.” A curly undercut (short at the back and sides, long and curly on top) always looks good, as does a curly quiff and hair grown to jaw-length a la Aiden Turner in Poldark.Whatever style you choose, make sure you get it cut or shaped when dry. Curly hair is more relaxed when wet, springing back a little when dry, so having it cut this way guarantees the style and length you want.(Related: Men’s Curly Haircuts Gallery)What Products To Use On Curly Hair“Product choice is crucial for curly hair,” says Morgan, who recommends a moisturising shampoo to prevent hair becoming dry and frizzy alongside a styling product like Moroccan Oil Moulding Cream. “It can be applied to wet hair and, as it’s incredibly moisturising, is perfect for curly hair,” he says. “It will help to define the curls and give good hold.”When you’re in a knot, pick up the right tool, too. Hair can be kept tangle-free by using a brush designed specifically for thick and curly hair; these have flexible teeth that gently detangle and smooth down the hair’s cuticles while minimising damage. Equally, drying hair with a hair dryer featuring a diffuser will help protect the hair and define curls without making them frizzy.“For a more relaxed curly look, just towel dry the hair and use a standard hair dryer nozzle or funnel to help straighten the hair for a more relaxed curl,” says Morgan. “Or if you want rid of them, straighteners could give you a new look for the day.”Just remember that using heat on curls — along with alcohol-based sprays and mousses — can make already desert-dry hair even drier, so don’t forget to reverse the effects with a moisture-rich, non-volumising shampoo and occasional deep conditioner.Dealing With: Unruly HairLike young children, hair can be obedient and well behaved or unruly and defiant. Since your head of hair is unique, chances are it’ll have its own kinks and quirks. Most of these you’ll have embraced and learned to live with, but a couple — cowlicks and double crowns, namely — can be particularly problematic.Crowns are (mostly clockwise) whorls of hair that form at a central point at the back of the skull just down from the top of your head — but some people have two of these, creating a ‘double crown’. These can be tricky for barbers to deal with because they have to deal with two centres of growth to style around.Cowlicks, meanwhile, are small sections of hair that go against the general direction of hair grown on the head to create gravity-defying tufts that stick up and defy most attempts to tame them with products like waxes and pomades. How To Style“If you have a pronounced double crown, you have to commit to either a long, very choppy or short style,” says Winkler. “Longer will weigh the crown down, making it less noticeable, and going short and choppy will hide it.” Anything in between and you’re asking for trouble, with different sections of your hair growing noticeably apart. The easiest way to deal with a stubborn cowlick is to go for a short, spiky or textured style that works with it rather than against it, disguising the hyperactive hair in the process. What Products To Use On Unruly HairThere is no magic potion that can help here. However, a few styling techniques can aid in making things easier. For example, blow-drying can temporarily change the direction of hair growth if cowlicks are a problem, while growing the hair longer can help by weighing it down.Interestingly, washing the hair less frequently is also a good hack as the natural oils will weigh the individual strands down at the root. Now Watch: 8 Grooming Hacks That All Men Should Know Source link

Root Boosters- How To Create Volume In Your Hair
TIP! Vaseline is great to smooth all over your feet around bedtime. Your feet will feel as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
It is often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are so many things, though, that you can do that will improve your appearance. Read some useful tips in this article and make yourself look as beautiful as ever.
TIP! No matter what skin type you have, you need to cleanse your face thoroughly with a cleanser that is mild up about a couple of times a day. Always completely remove your makeup.
Exfoliation is excellent for your face! If your skin is dry or highly sensitive, you can exfoliate your face anywhere from one to three times per week; any less and you are missing out on an opportunity to reveal healthy skin cells underneath the top layer. Doing this can give your face a more glowing appearance and will also reduce oil and dirt in your pores.
TIP! Prior to using a fake tan, you should ensure any unwanted hair is removed 24 hours beforehand. Just as you should shave 24 hours before your fake tan application, you should wait 24 hours to shave again.
You should use the product Vaseline to treat your eyebrows overnight. This conditions your eyebrows and helps them look lustrous. Make sure the Vaseline doesn’t get on your skin, as this can cause acne breakouts.
TIP! To get vibrant-looking skin, carry a moisturizer with you. This is important if it is cold outside; skin tends to dry out in the winter.
Remember to regularly sharpen lip liners and eyeliners. Not only does this make them easier to apply, it also makes sure they are clean for use. If you freeze them before sharpening, you will have an easier time.
Pink Lipstick
TIP! Drink enough water every day for healthy looking skin. When you are dehydrated, your skin is the first organ that suffers.
Use pink lipstick to hide those flaws you don’t want the world to see. Applying a warm toned pink lipstick will draw away attention from blemishes and send them looking at your beautiful lips. If you can draw attention to your mouth or eyes, people will not look at imperfections.
TIP! Use a brush with soft bristles on your skin to stimulate blood flow before the shower. Use a circular motion starting at your feet and working up to your head.
Many people find honey to be great for natural beauty treatments. Aside from consuming honey, it can have great benefits when applied topically. Mixing honey with sugar makes a fabulous skin exfoliator. You can retain more moisture in your skin by mixing honey with your moisturizing lotion. This will also improve the quality of your shampoo and the look of your hair.
TIP! You can fix your fingernail that has torn with a tiny part of a teabag. Pour the tea leaves into the garbage first.
A beauty connoisseur should avoid drinking caffeine. Caffeine can age you, make you look tired, and make you feel jittery. You should not drink more than one cup of tea or coffee in a day. Drinking decaf and green tea is also a good idea to help your nutrition.
TIP! Fruit juice just might be your secret weapon in the fight for better-looking skin. You can also get these skin-friendly nutrients by eating whole fruits and vegetables.
Bristle brushes can help calm frizzy hair. People who have naturally wavy or curly hair tend to have issues with frizz. Use a boar bristle brush for managing frizz in your hair as it dries. As you gently brush your hair, make sure the blow dryer is pointed in a downward direction.
Petroleum Jelly
TIP! Makeup artists use this trick to draw your attention away from any facial problems. Puffy red eyes and acne will be less noticeable.
Petroleum jelly is a great moisturizer for extremely dry feet. Many people find that petroleum jelly is an inexpensive way to get rid of hard calluses. Applying it to heels, soles and the balls of your feet at least three times a week will keep the skin from chaffing and peeling to begin with, leaving you with smooth and healthy feet!
TIP! Always look down when you are applying eye shadow. Don’t pull on your eyelids or apply excess pressure to them.
Be sure to wash your makeup brushes about once a week to help keep your makeup fresh and avoid dull colors. Fill your sink with baby shampoo and warm water, and work soap between bristles to make sure they are clean. Rinse all soap residue off completely and allow them to air-dry overnight. This will help to ensure that there is no heavy dirt and bacteria on the brush which can cause problems for your skin.
Some aspects of beauty are a matter of debate, but others are universal standards. Since you have now learned some tips from this article, you need to use them.
