personal spiel im adding in the tags again bc im once more feeling kinda emotional

#c.speaks #so i havent been dancing in almost a year #and recently some people on my old team asked me to come back for a performance #(i say performance but it's really a 20 minute piece with some of the more intense choreos)#and i saw one of my two old coaches yesterday who i was talking to about not knowing how to dance anymore #he was telling me that i could do it just give it a few days #and that it's important to integrate something i enjoy purely for me at least once a week #today i learned four or five choreos #and yeah im rusty and my pickup is slow #but ive never had this much fun in so long #that's all #if you made it this far id like to say #walk immediately became part of my top five nct 127 title tracks #I LISTEN TO IT SO MUCH #also enha's comeback xo?#LOVE IT #jimin's who?#the perfect mix of like crazy and seven and filter like HELLO??? #i can't dwell too much on amy winehouse ever or i'll just lose it #to return to the topic of the back to black liner notes.... i know that album back-to-front but there were still a few lines here and there #that i could never decipher so to see the correct version #and also just to absorb the lyrics in a visual form #was so shattering like she was 22-23 writing these masterful vignettes of Love the Destroyer she had so much inside of her #really one of the great poets of our generation and i am not being hyperbolic #i invite the skeptical reader to read the lyrics to Wake Up Alone while listening and then Some Unholy War #BtB is one of the greatest albums of the decade. i remember vividly being in the car with my dad listening to the title track #and he said very calmly 'i believe this is the best song of the decade'#i was a huge fan at the time but i was like ah i don't see it #but NOW! NOW i see. now i see #she was born for art she was born for love she was born for so much more than what she got #and no one in her cohort holds a candle to her and there will never be another like her #UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we love you Amy.#amy

also idk why that last post reminded me of one of my favorite bellini fun facts which he shared in the podcast he co-hosted with scott back in like 2013 which is that he never played "rock, paper, scissors" until he was in his late 40s??? like he'd never learned how to and he was like "if i saw someone doing that i would leave a room. i don't need an extra thing to learn today" honestly king behaviour

#i love bellini sm i should listen to more of that podcast i never finished the last few episodes bc i got distracted #also very proud of the fact that i was able to track that podcast down bc both scott and paul were convinced it was just lost media #(which especially says something for paul bc he saves everything and he didn't have any recordings of it)#so as soon as i found it online paul had me send him the link so he could download all of it for his archive #tbh i talk a lot about how similar i am to scott or bruce but really i'm moreso following in the footsteps of bellini lmao #like between me being the apprentice ''scott-wrangler'' (bellini's unofficial title during the KITH tv show)#and me being very into archiving everything related to KITH (and just in general)#all i'm missing is my own version of the towel lmao #i of course know how to play rock paper scissors but also who am i kidding if i didn't this would 100% be jessamine behaviour #like i can think of multiple examples where there was a ''universal'' thing i never experienced which i then refused to learn anything abou #despite it being such a small petty issue lmao #i hope bellini is having a good day today he deserves it
