i love when reddit makes a wotshow critique that makes it abundantly obvious they have simply slept through the entire show so far. what the hell do you MEAN, they haven't introduced TAR yet??
#they're also so weird about 'the show has cut a lot of weird magic stuff therefore there's no chance they'll include the finn'#the show has cut weird magic stuff *that isn't important to the overall story* (portal stones green man)#but it has not shied away from weird magic stuff that IS important to the overall story (all the TAR scenes this person slept through)#the finn fall into the second category and therefore will be included. not to mention they've been foreshadowed abundantly!#but i wouldn't expect this person to have caught all that given that they've slept through the entire show#anyway. wotshow is not afraid to embrace whimsy! it just chooses wisely about which pieces of whimsy are most relevant to the story#all the alternate reality stuff is interesting worldbuilding but a time-limited adaptation doesn't need to get into it#because it's more on the meta level and doesn't really affect the actual present story that's happening#but the finn very much do affect the actual present story that's happening#i've said it many times but reddit's ability to objectively judge what is and isn't integral to the story is extremely poor#sure portal stones & the finn have exactly the same impact on the story and therefore will receive the exact same treatment by the show!#sure the morgase storyline aka the storyline of the biggest & most important country in wotworld is just filler and should have been cut!#wot#wot book spoilers
