          He actually considers it and he HATES that he considers it because he knows all too well the answer is going to be… No either way. No, I can’t. The thought alone makes him grunt ( no, not at her. Never at her ) before he’s moving his body, until he’s laying on his stomach much like Laei next to him. ‘  I can’t.  ’ Comes Nero’s reply, muffled by the pillow he buried his face in. ‘  Y’know how my f…  ’ Another sudden pause, but this time Nero looks like he made a horrible mistake. ‘  How DANTE AND VERGIL are.  ’ There, much better. 

          As if it’s any consollation, Nero moves again and this time carefully places his stubbled chin against Laei’s carefully folded wings. ‘  I tell you what,  ’ he begins, soft voice tickling on the skin of her back. ‘  I promise to come back here as soon as I’m able to and then we’ll be able to do WHATEVER YA WANT…  ’ He’s already envisioning it, too. A nice dinner ( or maybe lunch, if he’s lucky enough ), a movie with several hot drinks, doing absolutely nothing but cuddling under large, warm blankets… 

          ABSOLUTE HEAVEN.
