ooo, what's worst breakup of all time about?

also a really fun one!! (to write — as far as reading it goes it’s kind of brutal start to finish)

this one deals with the fallout of alistair and morrigan doing the dark ritual behind roshan’s back because they really, really want him to live, even though he really, really doesn't.

needless to say, the confrontation after he survives the ordeal goes very poorly between him and alistair who (1) tries to lie that he doesn't know how that's possible (2) admits he does know something and may have been involved in making that happen (3) refuses to apologise for it.

it’s not technically a break up because they weren’t actually together at this point, but i think that actually makes it worse because they’re both terribly in love at this point (catastrophic levels of Yearning) but not talking about it in those terms (until alistair does in the midst of this argument!! aaa)
