i'm sorry, i know my anger and exhaustion are perhaps not directed at the most sensible target, but at what point should we be expecting physicians in this country to stand by the hippocratic oath they all took and actually intervene when their female patients are hours away from actively dying? facing up to 10 years in jail for performing your fucking job is indeed terrifying, but so is a) standing idly by while your female patient is on her way to dying under your care and b) you did indeed take the hippocratic oath? you chose to become a physician? i think i'm being at least a little unfair right now, but i also don't think expecting serious collective action from american physicians at this moment in history is asking too much. break some laws, docs.
